Question: how do we know who was first and second runner ups in season 7? all ik is that neither Thea and Andy won. Did they announce who got 2nd and who got 3rd? Very curious
@@philiplerner4683 The judging is not just only based on their taste but also involves textures like what Australia does which is why Thea got most textural issues on her dishes she made which is the reason that she got 3rd place, Andy has textural issues on his dishes too but just minor ones which he settled 2nd for Season 7: Back To Win.
Thea and Andy are both 2nd runner ups in the Back to Win edition. There was no official announcement of their final placements aside from Christopher winning the title.

I still don't think Marida should've been in the top 2, She stuck to one cooking style throughout the competition & never changed it, Just using the same Trinidad style, Should've gone outside her comfort zone more.
Agreed. I'd rather Kayla being in top 2 because Kayla is way more creative than Marida especially on desserts. But I'm glad Eric won either way.

The way Jennifer reacted to the praise given to Andre's dessert... the show talks about elevated cuisine... this was elevated emotions.
i wonder if trevor's ice cream would turn perfect if he used the way eric and marida made ice cream on their desserts like using a mixer and then slowly putting the liquid nitrogen instead of freezing it on the mold.

I can't cook either, and cooking is an art. Not everyone can play the violin, or become a classical pianist. I look at cooking the same way...either you have the talent...or you don't.

It was Michelin star levels of creativity. When you provide an experience, it's on another level.

My favorites were Eric, David, Line, Mary, Jeremy, Andre, and Jennifer. Jennifer's is the one I would want the most; An elevated cereal dessert... Sign Me Up!!!!

Damn that would be epic. Eric, George, Trevor, Marry, Becky and Jennifer (I think that that are all the winners). Such an intense competetition would surely be a pleasure to watch. I have no idea who could win. They are all great.

They have time to prepare before the finale. They are allowed to go home and brainstorm and then come back to execute their dishes.
@@reign8195 Might be one of the easiest things to do in the competition as the rest of the challenges were a surprise.
Now I'm not saying that it's easy to brainstorm delicious stuff like this p, but it is easier to go to bed fully prepared rather than stressed out cus you don't know what ur gonna do in the kitchen.

i want the asian banana split. i adore green tea, and red bean i have grown to love dearly. it does indeed give you a warm feeling. a sense of comfort. id love to try it with honeydew which is my favorite melon. i think that would truly make a refreshing summer dessert

In season 3, theres a challenge where the cooks cook in one of alvins restaurants and Eric works there and his finale dish is on his menu!

Yesterday i made the experiment and i was expecting a good treat but it end up being horrible, dreadful, and a huge dissapointment. Esquisite Taste is nothing like mixing olives and chocolate.
