Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 вер 2021
- In this 90 second tutorial you'll learn how to model the eye, paint the textures and make the materials to get realistic eyes.
Eye texture i used: I'm not sure i'm allowed to share the link but any iris png you find with full circle should work fine
Normal Map Generator: Just search "NormalMap-Online" on gogle and click on first link

For those of you having trouble with seeing the eyeball layer once the cornea has it's material transmission set to 1.0 (likely only mirroring the HDRI you're using), assuming you're using Eevee, go to the material tab for the cornea layer, open the Settings drop down menu, and make sure to check the boxes for Screen Space Refraction and Subsurface Translucency. Hope that helps.
even after checking both boxes the eyeball is just reflecting standard HDRI, I'm not sure what I am doing wrong
@@joeyracksez7585 Hello, not sure if you solved the problem or not, but in 'Render Properties' (camera icon) look for 'Screen Space Reflections' there should be a checkbox next to the word. Check it. This should be active ALONG with material settings with the same name.
@@darkmatter1475 This and more help from the creator got it to work, thanks!:)
also check the "Refraction" under "Screen Space Reflections."
Just figured out the issues. Thanks for the help!
oMG!!!! It's fantastic:)
This is one of the best blender tutorials I've seen straight to the point. Subed.
no keybinds
Great catalogue of short tuts you have! Insta-sub
hi friend! thank you!! i'm wondering what the purpose of the normal map is?
If you are having a seam appear where you marked it in edit mode when you apply the normal map just set the color mode of the image texture to non-color and that should fix it.
very good!
I had a modelling issue and will post it here for anyone with the same problem. If you see a horribly shadow after filling the hole with F, make sure you actually selected the vertices in the center and not the ones in front of them. Looks like if you select them wrong, normals flip and then appears the horrible shadow shade
Can someone help me with this issue. I made finished the whole model and now this. I don’t know how to fix it. I don’t understand what you mean by not picking the ones infront.
Thank you bro
I will get to this level of creativity
tysm!
you are the best ~~
thank you
hello! it looks so great so i tried but i'm having a little difficulty on making cornea,,,, can you explain in text please?
Great stuff, trust me, that’s what noobies want. Thanks, YUMMY!
I can't seem to extrude it in because it doesn't show every extrude option when I choose alt e
if you find solution plz lmk!!!!!
Thanks, seems like a good tutorial, but slightly confused why you make you texture size 4028x4028 ? should it be 4096x4096 ?
how do you bake something with transparency?
This is. Great. I came across your channel about two weeks ago and I subscribed instantly knowing that you will continue to upload great stuffs. One request please. Can you create a short tutorial on how to texture paint a character face?
Thank you :) Glad you like the contents, and great suggestion i definetly keep that in mind for the future videos :)
Underrated
thanks bro
I don’t understand what you did at the end. You said “slap some hdri map on it” I dont know how.
Am I supposed to paint over the cornea too? Or is that supposed to be a clear see through layer?
a HDRI is a like an enviroument texture so instead of using a light in the project you can instead have like a room the eye is in. This makes objects more interesting. Search on youtube how to add a HDRI to a blender enviroument.
Great vid! Only thing I miss is the keys used down in the corner or something :)
how to export it for game ready?
very informative and ez to understand even for foreigner like me
Hey thank you for the content.
How do I get the stencil in the middle of my screen? it is stuck in the bottom left corner and im having trouble painting with it.
hope you understand my comment lol
same issue here. could be because of the blender version we are using .. maybe
same too... no answers yet
Use right click on your mouse. It's the key for 'Stencil Brush Control' and will let you move the texture around.
Hello my friend. Thank you very much for the short and instructive information you gave without telling unnecessary stories and filling our heads with nonsense music. That's why I'm subscribing.
La textura es libre de copyright?
Hello, I'm following your tutorial but I don't understand what you said at 1:08 and I think that's why mine doesn't appear like yours, thank you so much for your answer !
He says to set the transmission to 1
does anyone know how to change the spec in 4.0?
Don't you love tutorials when dude comments ALMOST everything he does? Like, when you said "slap some hdri maps", and NOT showed how to do that, just LOVE this part!
then just search how to add hdri map to blender project?
A lot of tutorials aren’t catered towards beginners, or every tutorial would be outrageously long. Just google the one or two things and learn how to do it. I’ve been seeing this same complaint on multiple tutorials now. If it said beginner tutorial I’d get it, but it doesn’t, so don’t expect everything to be explained.
People really need everything handed to them 😂
@@acez6756yes. It's a tutorial. That's what it's supposed to do.
@@stonesphixsballer5786the tutorial is about making an eye, not how to add hdri
I dunno if you can reply me or not amma just put it herein 1:04 after al doing like that it become black not look like your I don't understand why
Same!
Where to get the eye base color picture? Is there a certain website or we should draw it by hand😢😢
I Included the one i used in this video in the description, you can find the link there but you can also search up Eye base texture or something like that to find what's best for you (but you have to make sure it's flat without any reflection or highlights)
Even with transmission on 1 I can still see the second sphere without being able to see the eyeballsphere itself.. how can I solve this?
Hello, not sure if you solved the problem or not, but in 'Render Properties' (camera icon) look for 'Screen Space Reflections' there should be a checkbox next to the word. Check it. This should be active ALONG with material settings with the same name.
didnt work '-'
my eye get a reflection
How do I push out the edges of the cornea?
by push out i meant dragging out the vertices using grab (Hotkey G) to the outside of the eye.
@@PixelicaCG yeah but u cant click shit
nice
ayo
Instantly subbed. Quick to the point, explains each step. Luv it.. keep it going brother
the thumbnail does scare me. but the content is irresistable.
what to do if the brush just randomly doesn't want to work, I finally got it scaled into the right position and now the brush doesn't want to paint the texture
did you find a fix to that? im having the same problem
@@elmooselord I did... but I forgot what I did to fix it 😭 sorry bro
TASTY EYES
TX Bro, now im gonna do some realy Sh1t with it!!!
bless 🙏
I have no idea what was done between 1:09 and 1:11, can someone please help me?
I added a HDRI map to the scene for lighting, if you don't know how to set HDRI, search, there's tons of videos on youtube, you can also light the scene with normal lights tho.
Thank you sir , U r doing great job for beginners
Glad it was helpful :)
nice now i am hungry
LOL
how would this work in cycles?
this video was in cycles :D it's a bit different in eevee
Muito bom
Obrigado mano :D
also how the FUCK do i fill the hole on the cornea ?
u can close the holes by selecting the edges around it and press f
@@PixelicaCG THANK U SO MUCH
This is a great tutorial! I’m definitely going to recommend it to my subscribers. Thank you!
That's Great :D thank you
Shouldnt it be the other way around?
Seems that the cornea is blocking the eye completely this way?
Anyhow, this was super great - thanks a lot for sharing this easy way of doing it! :)
Cant make this work with the cornea part of it - can anyone please help out?
@@mboe94 did you end up making it work ? im stuck on it too, i cannot see the eyeball with the cornea
@@mboe94 okay nevermind i found it, dont put transmission on the eye material, only put it on the cornea one, it should make the cornea clear as glass and therefore make it look like an eyeball ( Thing is that i dont know how to fix the hole of the cornea )
@@SinjBanana F to fill the hole
Please what did you say at 0:08 - 0:12
Just extrude the edges.
@Shell Company S
Scale, don’t extrude first..just hit S, then you can extrude inward for the second time
ok literally noone said it was for beginners, this video shows us the exact thing someone using blender for a longer time needs to know to make an eye.
the fact how the eye is built is the point in this video, not a step to step guide that shows you every little thing. it doesn't say that it's for beginners so don't expect it to be
This content is great! But seem you are very tight in time, every step is so fast!
Thanks :) yeah i tried to take it slower in the recent videos but in these cases you can slow down the video speed to 0.5x.
I hate it when it's too fast what's the point of putting here?
The eyes have a weird pink. It’s like we are stealing these eyes from stoners.
it was an example you can use whatever eye texture you find best for your work, also eyes how much more veins and getting darker through the back but since it's a quick tutorial i just covered the basics.
more easy, tiny eye addon
It is to fast.... what is the point make so fast ?
Doesn't work, the entire eyeball is just mirroring the HDRI I'm using
Are u in Eevee or cycles? this is for cycles, make sure transmission is correct.
@@PixelicaCG I used Cycles, the HDRI issue is fixed however the eye is clipping into the cornea causing this odd blotchy effect. Perhaps I'm too new to blender or don't have the correct settings. Thanks for your reply
@@joeyracksez7585 you got it joey :) if it's clipping scale up the cornea just a little bit and it should be fine.
This doesn't work 😰😖📚📖📝
make sure u follow allong the tutorial, dont skip brothers
Hmmmm
🗿🗿🗿
too very fast!
step at @0:22 is too fast you lost me there
yeah sorry, typical modeling step just push it foward and for the hole in the middle select the edges on the outside and press f to fill the hole.
@@PixelicaCG thank you :)
@@PixelicaCG and btw awesome tutorial
cant follow it, you just do it too fast
ANOTHER FAILED BLENDER TUTORIAL . DID NOT WORK . I MADE A REFLECTIVE METAL BALL
this tutorial is not for beginners
I'm sorry but this tutorial is really bad, is going way too fast and you're leaving so many details that leave me to figure it out itself, is very annoying when I'm looking to learn what I wanna do but not being explained the full process of it, it could've been just 3 minutes
that's why i covered it in a longer form later: ua-cam.com/video/EfNzAaqKHXQ/v-deo.html
You're not even explaining what you should do. Wtf should I press and shit.
Way to fast makes no sense
ужасный тутор, чтоб тебе такие же туторы по жизни попадались
That thumbnail really caught my attention lol
