@@MyCobraz I know it is late but you should go to render properties, look at screen space reflections' settings with clicking the little arrow next to it and enable "refraction"

Can someone please let me know? I can't understand why the pupil is still black when connecting another shader to Mix Shader at 3:45. I can imagine why the black pupil are showing up at 3:30 with a black and white texture connected to the fac. I'm guessing that perhaps Mix Shader wants to prioritize the second Shader but has no color because it is not connected. Sorry for the bad English.

this is an amazing tutorial and it looks great, only problem is that it looks like garbage in cycles and I've yet to have found an easy way like this to go about it
Hi. Could you please update sclera displacement texture to 16 bit png. The same as you did for the iris. Because 8 bit jpeg produces some artifacts in eevee. Also it'll be good to have all sclera textures in png format. I'll be very thankful because I don't have this addon.
Can anyone tell me what command is used at 1.23 in the video? The whole scaled down segment is selected and then seems to change slightly in size and shape while selected but I cant see/understand what was done? Is it smooth vertices?
He enabled the proportional editing then resized the iris on the X axe (press S then X). Be sure the proportinal size of your editing fits the area you want to resize.
If you still need help, I'm not sure what the hotkey is, but in the top right corner of the viewbox thing theres 4 spheres, if you click on the one of the very right of those 4 spheres it will show the texture of the eye

I have the same problem, the white area is pointing upwards, while the red part is pointing downwards. I have tried all sorts of rotating on Photoshop, UV editor and Texture Co-ordinates yet nothing works...

While eevee cannot do hyper-photorealistic renders due to the lack of real world light physics, such as shadows, refractions, reflections and such, at the end of the day, it is still a good renderer when used correctly. Animations for example, unless you aim for that Pixar look, you wouldn't need cycles to do it. Just clever lighting and effects are enough. Car commercials or smartphone showcases don't need hyper realistic lighting-the reflections can be faked by HDRIs very well. Even archviz can be done on Eevee, as long as you don't use close ups on every single crevice on that wood floor. Edit: Even good looking games use similar techniques to Eevee, and if blender enhances it to the same level as UE5, I'd gladly choose it over cycles.
Could you pls make some ideas of Lighting in blender. If it possible. There's no more tips and tricks in lighting. So many will reach you to get that... 😍😍

No. I started again and changed the orientation of the eyeball to exactly as in the video.
@@sirkanz ok if you ever have that issue again you can go into UV Editor and rotate it 180 degrees.

Ahem recommend use cube then subsurf on , hit f3 - make sphere while in edit mode then drag to get perfect sphere with fully quad circle
Yeah but you would not get the same uv as the textures sorry for my english
Of course Claude you can add a Cast modifier set to sphere with a value of 1 and it will make a perfect sphere from a quad based sphere too.

Evee is not good compared to cycles bcoz it dont show reflections and fresnel etc
