Thank you, I think that confirms that I should go for textures instead of procedural :) Also great idea to pull back the pupil area! Stunning, and easy to follow without wasting hours on explanations.
Thank you, this is beautifully done. I've been looking for this exact thing for the last week. Any change you could post a slower video with commentary?
@@NiniaIDigitalArt Please do, the results are absolutely stunning and your written English is perfect from what I can tell. UA-cam has closed caption option and auto translate if that helps. Please, can you do a tutorial on how to export the eye as an FBX? I'm struggling with it for a while because Blender only exports the base mesh without any shaders or textures.
this is an amazing tutorial and it looks great, only problem is that it looks like garbage in cycles and I've yet to have found an easy way like this to go about it
Good tuturial, but a bit too fast. If no commentary or descriptions a short pause would have been good when pressing keys or performing actions on the mesh. But apart from that its quite amazing :-D
is there any way to is this in cycle renderin ? i mean there is no screen space reflection in cycle or im blind , without screen space reflection i cant see iris
Hi. Could you please update sclera displacement texture to 16 bit png. The same as you did for the iris. Because 8 bit jpeg produces some artifacts in eevee. Also it'll be good to have all sclera textures in png format. I'll be very thankful because I don't have this addon.
When I use these textures on my characters eyes, can I do what ever I want with him after that, like selling or putting him into a game and then start selling it?
Can someone please let me know? I can't understand why the pupil is still black when connecting another shader to Mix Shader at 3:45. I can imagine why the black pupil are showing up at 3:30 with a black and white texture connected to the fac. I'm guessing that perhaps Mix Shader wants to prioritize the second Shader but has no color because it is not connected. Sorry for the bad English.
Excuse me, when i finishing a model how can i see the entire model, with colors, hair ecc.., when i change mode, for esample i put the hair and then i go into object mode, there aren't the hair or the color
@@clownemoji2153 true and false. While eevee cannot do hyper-photorealistic renders due to the lack of real world light physics, such as shadows, refractions, reflections and such, at the end of the day, it is still a good renderer when used correctly. Animations for example, unless you aim for that Pixar look, you wouldn't need cycles to do it. Just clever lighting and effects are enough. Car commercials or smartphone showcases don't need hyper realistic lighting-the reflections can be faked by HDRIs very well. Even archviz can be done on Eevee, as long as you don't use close ups on every single crevice on that wood floor. Edit: Even good looking games use similar techniques to Eevee, and if blender enhances it to the same level as UE5, I'd gladly choose it over cycles.
Hello! I made this eye according to your tutorial and I really liked it! But I had one problem, I was making an eye model for a Biological-Chemical project at school and on December 17 I will have a defense and I urgently need to understand how to export this 3D model with all shaders, textures and modifiers, I realized that if I export via GLB then textures of blood vessels appear on the shell of the eye, but the iris and pupil are not visible... please help me solve this problem (I'm sorry for the mistakes) Regards, Ivan

Ahem recommend use cube then subsurf on , hit f3 - make sphere while in edit mode then drag to get perfect sphere with fully quad circle
Yeah but you would not get the same uv as the textures sorry for my english
Of course Claude you can add a Cast modifier set to sphere with a value of 1 and it will make a perfect sphere from a quad based sphere too.
Unbelievable dude keep it up

Almost perfect but refraction effect of cornea is not so strong in a real eye, it gives odd result watching eye from some angles. Great eye btw!
