Good result and helpful techniques, but kind of annoying how things get added and done off screen without being shown and it jumps around too much to follow. Would be helpful to just show a screen shot of your completed material graph
Had the problem with the ctl shift b thing from the iris but just remember that you have scrolled in with your mouse from the bevelling before, so scroll down so that you get just one face :)
Nope, didnt work for me as expected when trying to ctl shft b ctl b. I got all kinds off triangles when trying to fix the center spot. Maybe make a slower version of this video explaining things?
I had the same Problem but when I did ctrl b first and ctrl shift b for the single vertex we pushed in earlier it was fine I think the really confusing part is that he says the right thing but does it in the opposite order in the video
I'm trying really really hard to follow this tutorial- I've got a question, and I've tried looking this up. How did you get the pupil from a cone to a flat surface? I have no idea what tool, control or command would even get me close to that. Thank you, I'm really looking forward to finishing my model with this style of eye
you need to scroll down to reduce to only one face or, in the Bevel menu on the left bottom slect Affect= Vertices and Segments= 1. Change the width if needed
What if they eyes arent perfectly round :( im doing more of a chibi eyes, which are a little longer vertically, almost like an oval, i dont know how to do it 😩
Both the cover and final images are renders of mine. The character is a modified version of the Blender studio's Rain free rig. Thank you for your comment!
@@homspau Thank you so much I just got it. Bevel maybe have a little issue. By the way thank you for your tutorial I just finally found this style. Also, the shader are the best. Subscribe!
Please make this a 5 minutes full screen tutorial 🙏 😫

UA-cam: How much of the shader node editor space do you want to show?
Pau Homs: *no*
This has really helped realize how much I still have to learn
Awesome. Not too complicated and looks awesome for animation.
This is very good, but can we please see the whole node group?

The hardest and most important part is what you dont show lol
why don't I have such a sclera shader?
Sick! Thank you so much!
Glad you like it! :)
wait! what scorcery happens at 0:16. how did it suddenly bcome that!!??
thank you😊😊😊
what was i supposed to do here on 0:14, 0:15, and 0:16?
yall need to learn how to model first
Wow, such well work and explanation
Thanks!
This was not explained well.
Pauu ets un crack😍❤️
Aii merci campió!!
Very nice job!!
This is super helpful, and I got most of the nodes setup, but I couldn't see the whole node setup. Could you hook us up partna? Thanks!!!
I may do a community post on this since you're not the only one asking. Stick around this next days! Thank you for your comment
It was my an first attempt in shaders and it's impossible to do it for me. 51sec of tuto and i wasted 2h for trying to do it
Do you have a full video?
I do! On my channel
That pot is cute af lmao
Eyes are everything! ;)

I'd do everything like in the video and deform them later with a modifier or a parent
Hello! where to connect the pupil node?
Man😶😶😶😶

Bro doesn't even show how to connect, but thenk you it helped.
download the reel bros, no other way
Where do i put the emission group??
do you find where to connect the emission
Uhh I am not flash to see 50 frames per second
got a image of the node menu you lost me when you got to pupil, didn't show what the 3rd color ramp was connected to
Help please. Where is "sclera"?
what movie is that image from? Very helpful tutorial thank you!

Can you explain a bit when you do bevelling to the center vertex. I'm not understand how you do that
Select the vertex and Crtl+Shift+B. You can also use the bevelling tool and change edge to vertex in the context menu :)

@@homspau like it? I really love it!! It just small mistake I made while modelling now I have the most beautiful procedural texture
Keep it up!! But I will just stop in the middle of shading because my laptop will love me so much if I push it even further.
i only know how to do the eyeshape and modeling but when it comes to shading and colouring it turns out to be only white. any tips guys?
I recommend to watch the full tuto on my channel. It may be covered there!
@@homspau thank you!
i didnt understand the pupil part
OOOOH I FIGURED OUT
Good to hear! I hope you took something from it! Thanks for the comment!
Hello! how did you do the pupil/emission part? I'm so confused where do i connect it
Dude you’re going way too quick
I can't realy follow.
Not helpful, i was confused in noddes
