New to blender and this is an awesome tutorial, thanks for the learnings!
Insane how good this looks
Awesome tutorial. Thank you for explaining so well.
Thanks a lot...great tutorial for anyone who wants to do eye shading completely using blender
This is awesome ! I’m going to make this for in game tysm ❤️❤️❤️
Cool stuff thanks. Unlike some Blender texturing tuts, where authors hop into Substance to be on the safe side - yours was done entirely in Blender. Appreciated.
THANK YOU!!! I made procedural eyeball but not suitable for animation, this is life saver!!
The best blender tutorialist!
thanks for the amazing tutorial!
One of the best tutorial! Like how you used ability of Blender
Really nice flow and speaking voice...A+ all around!
Mejor video que he encontrado de ojos en Blender. me has salvado el día, un saludo desde Uruguay
This is perfect...tnx!!
beautiful 😳
Thank you!!
Thank you x
thank you!!!
Now we can add caustics projecting on the iris
I have a doubt in my game characters eye uses textures and I have my texture in DDS format but when I put to my character the pupil its so dilated and behind the big pupil its the eye color around how I can fix this ? I need to edit the eye object mask? I modding con wwe 2k22 hope can help me
wow! thanks sir you have solved my problem
You are welcome 😊
when i try to paint it says missing texture even though i have a texture
Nice tutorial but am have a problem scaling the eye image I added for the texture paint
because you use many Nodes, if there is already a Node for that (Principled BSDF) ??
could i use this eye for games, and how?
Really great tutorial.
Unfortunately I'm not the only one having this problem with the thing you do at 13:55
Probably an update that changed how it works, I'm bad with Blender nodes so I can't find an alternative
Scary/beautiful
Is it possible to change the color of the iris only with image texture? Or would you need an image texture of a different eye color? Any help is appreciated!
@@nnctnlav Photoshop took care of it :)
nice
Is it Possible to bake the textures?
Good work, but please don't have a pole in front of your lens, it will cause artifacting in renders when you smooth.
Quick off topic question, do you apply limit rotation constraints on bones such as arm besides ik constraint
The ik constraints tend to override that, but if it is an fk rig it works
@@Luwizart appreciate it keep up the good work, incredible you are
Can i bake this into textures and export it to unreal engine?
My model's schlera is still attached to the iris. How do you only hide the schlera? At 4:22
Im a complet beginner in Blender and at minute 4:01 i have no clue how you opened this panel but befor that i understood all of that
You can do it by pressing control A
i have tried multiple times now and I can not get it right. The sclera keeps looking like reflective glass. I have looked at this tutorial many times now and it keeps doing the same thing. Is it because I have a newer version of blender ?
I noticed when you added the attribute shader at 13.54, it looks different from mine. You go into input-vertex color-col. And the only way for me to get that attribute shader, is through input-attribute, and when it appears, it doesnt say col within the color box. Could this be the reason its not working anymore ?
I have the same issue. Could you find a solution?
@@BrSS1 What did I seperated the selection and made in edit mode and made new material for it, made it transparent with alpha 0.3 and it was looking good.
Question On An Issue I'm Having : When starting the texture paint process, I'm painting the red on the back side of the eyeball with Occlude and Backface Culling turned off. From the sides it looks good, but the top and bottom have a direct unpainted line that's the width of the faces on the sphere. I'm not sure what I've done wrong, but going in top view to paint the unpainted section leaves bad fade marks on the left and right side. No matter how many times I rotate around to touch up patches, it doesn't give me the smooth fade between paint and unpainted. (if that makes sense) Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
I have this exact same problem, have you found a solution at all?
Update: Provided you're using the most up to date blender, I've found that having only occlude on and backface culling off fixes the problem.
update: if you are still having this problem in newer versions of blender, uncheck 'NORMAL FALLOFF' from the falloff settings, and turn off both occlude & backface in the options settings
And how to use a mask instead of vertex paint?
🥰HE CALLED US BEAUTIFUL !!!
In vertex color i don't see col or fac. In fact i only see color and alpha... Check 13:55
Great Tutorial! Maybe if you also speak out what you are klicking on the keyboard it would be a little bit easier to follow since the text only shows up for a second. Still Great tho :)
actually very hard to follow if you are a beginner :) But could also be possibly that im just slow and stupid hahaha
Y is my Irish not being painted I have tried it may times
My eye shading color looks different in cycles.. looks yellow instead of red
The first )))
Nice tutorial but you explain too fast. It would be better if you explain a little slower and explain the shortcuts you used at the beginning.
i think this tutorial needs to be updated, no longer works following step by step, just looks like trash.

Looks very bad
how does it looks bad?
@@legome3431 I can't paste links here, but for the comparison, look at texturing xyz channel. They have good looking eyes.
