This is not a good option, tv is tilted or it’ll have too much space between the wall and tv. Mine is like this and after a year I hate it and will do cables in wall so tv is flush against the wall

All the houses have electric wiring in the Walls. Anyway if proper cable types I mean if using costly cable's that have higher standard never get fire. I recommend you to take guidance from professional who recommend you to which type or gauge of cable required. Further more i am still using more than 2 year's ago
Aside from potential heating issues , the back of tvs has a metallic plate from the manufacturing process which will bounce RF signals , if you start to see more buffering wheels or latency input from your controllers after install , please don’t call your ISP 😂
Wall mounting the consoles can look great especially when using Hide-It mounts because the holes they drill usually line up for the next console. But the way you did it is a cable and spacial mess. It’s a great idea but could be done much better. Also you should make the huge disclaimer that an electrical outlet needs to be behind the tv for this to work.

My cables are fed right thru my wall to all my connected devices including my ps5. I would never place my devices much less my ps5 behind the tv. And I have the same tv just with the sound bar mounted to the bottom of it. Looks great. Only device I do have behind the tv however is my Apple TV which in my case it’s mounted directly to the back of the tv. U see no wires. This however, I wouldn’t recommend.

If you don't have an outlet behind your TV, I recommend a power relocation kit. They aren't very expensive and are easy to install. You don't have to know anything about electricity. But I'd you know about electricity then just run some romex up the wall and put in an outlet. It's a little more involved but still not super hard.
no it's not, if it's mount well ventilated location on back of the LED TV where LED TV not heats up and PS5 also get cool air from the side and release to other side. I recommend to anyone first get the cool area back of the LED TV then note down the PS5 ventilation system from which holes cool air ins and which holes hot air released.
@@gzus1482 Don't get it no problem let me shine more my last reply, actually it's very simple when you first bought your 2.1 HDMI LED TV then don't mount it to the wall for few hours put it on table top, setup your PS5 then play it for 2-3 hours after that here's the tricky part comes, pause the game, get up check the temperature of back of the 4K LED TV by hand note down the coolest spot and then turn off your PS5 disconnect all the wires then mount it to the wall with PS5. Now I hope you understand, don't hesitate to ask more questions.

Everyone mentioned the heating issues but also whats with the angle on that tv? It should be flat, maybe at a short downward angle if your couch is close. But thats a very sharp angle. Depending on the display, this does affect the colors you can see.

2 problems- 1.) All the combined heat from the devices in a confined space. 2.) Then dusting everything to prevent hardware failure and keep things looking nice.
Looks carefully I have installed a moveable TV mounting brackets to have handsome amount of distance between PS5 and TV. For cleaning LED TV can be move further for easy access to dusting, troubleshooting and other tasks
TV devices are very strong against heat issues because of that there are no fans are installed in TV devices and no fans no air sucks and PS5 is installed on the side of TV and it's sucks cool air from the side. I am personally using it a year ago without any issues.
You should look into changing your ps5 position because there have been some issues with the console apparently while set vertically it melts a component and it damages the console from the inside
PS5 always mounted in vertical position because in that way it's take less space and it's better placed on corners to get fresh air from sides and exhausts from the top
The manufacturer put all this effort in to making this TV thin so it looks nice on a wall. let’s put everything behind it so it looks terrible from the side and sticks out like a foot so you can walk into it at night.

No overheating issues on this, actually. Lots of room behind the TV for exhaust, so it's actually better than being on a shelf with a wall behind. I don't think people understand how much it really takes for a PS5 to overheat lol
The picture quality of projector is far less from LED TVs and they using a it's for hours can decrease the eyesight. Never put PS5 under the bed it's catch dust very quickly and washing floor also damaged your console. My set-up looks amazing and beautiful it's cost's some money but worth it

If high quality electric cable's were used then there is no heating issues and 4 to 5 cable's are safe to wrap in any quality they are not high powered device's
Mount your ps5 downside because some paste will heat up and leak to the motherboard and the you will have to spend a lot of money for a fix or just throw it away

you should have to mount PS5 on the very side and make much space between both device's first time check the temperature touching by hand after using 2 to 3 hours of play if you feels heat then increase the space between both devices. Don't just mount and run give some more time to achieve perfect setup. I using it since 2 years ago

Amazon and eBay, you can also DIY these from the Metal work's shop take PS5 with you to exactly get the measurements I am sure they will make it for you. LED TV mount easier to get from Electronics shop 😀
Please do NOT ever do this. The heat of the PS5 alone is not safe in a confined space but add the TV and any other devices is asking for them ALL to die in half their expected life span.
It is also bad if a disc based system to have it vertically mounted anyway. Xbox said it was safe to do that with the One, but people soon realised that discs were getting damaged and the drives did not spin correctly, faulty parts. I for one would never stand it vertical.

You should not mount your console behind your TV 1. It decreases airflow to PS5 and can cause over heating, 2. The heat generated from the TV can also increase the heat of the PS5 and cause over heating as the suction fans in the PS5 will suck in hot air produced by the TV. You can counter the heating issues by keeping room temps at 75 degrees or lower, or having an external fan blowing into the front vents of the PS5 (do not install after market cooling fans as they mount on back and blow air in where it's supposed to come out) if you live in an area where heat advisers are common keep you ps5 in an area with 1ft of open space in all directions.

I m using PS4 external fan last 4 years and 1 year of PS5. It can be attached on the air outlet vents and help the system to exhaust hot air more speedily. It's same as when you install big fan on a small fan big fan can improve the speed of smaller fans by air flow. And anyone can mount PS5 besides the TV safely by having 1 feet distance in all other devices. Thanks 🤗

Because then you would have been wrong and convinced others to follow your instructions. I am a gamer, and play my ps religiously. The ps5 produces so much heat. Last year my ps overheated and turned off after my ac broke for 2-3 hours. I had a fan near it. So just imagine what it would be like for someone who plays 8-12 hours a day at a time with it behind a TV that produces heat, on a wall. Sure not every ps might not experience it… but it’s def gonna put a lot at risk and make it break down sooner than it should.

If the hdmi cables are long enough you can run them from behind the TV into the wall and out behind the entertainment center using low voltage boxes

I love the aesthetic. One thing I learned lately was that the PS5 should be horizontal due to leaking from the CPU defect present in many models.

Everyone mentioned the heating issues but also whats with the angle on that tv? It should be flat, maybe at a short downward angle if your couch is close. But thats a very sharp angle. Depending on the display, this does affect the colors you can see.
Yeah you're absolutely right, if someone noticed that then I will recommend to pull forward your TV make a decent space between PS5 and TV then adjust required angle.

Pretty cool but using game disks would be a bit annoying so I'd put the console on the table and run the cords through the wall

TV devices are very strong against heat issues because of that there are no fans are installed in TV devices and no fans no air sucks and PS5 is installed on the side of TV and it's sucks cool air from the side. I am personally using it a year ago without any issues.

You should look into changing your ps5 position because there have been some issues with the console apparently while set vertically it melts a component and it damages the console from the inside
PS5 always mounted in vertical position because in that way it's take less space and it's better placed on corners to get fresh air from sides and exhausts from the top

The manufacturer put all this effort in to making this TV thin so it looks nice on a wall. let’s put everything behind it so it looks terrible from the side and sticks out like a foot so you can walk into it at night.

You are gonna overheat everything quick cause a electric short and catch the house on fire. Also how bad that ps5 is gonna lag. You should have just did a simple wall hole inlet and one under center of entertainment stand and put everything in there . And wifi
For the heating issues you can read the description of this video and I have installed Smart Electric Breaker so there is no chance of catch house on fire.
PS5 have outstanding look and design it's better to show but some people like the clean set-up so That's useful for them.

It's going to take a lot more for that PS5 to overheat. While it might not have the ideal airflow. It will be fine.
No overheating issues on this, actually. Lots of room behind the TV for exhaust, so it's actually better than being on a shelf with a wall behind. I don't think people understand how much it really takes for a PS5 to overheat lol

Use a projector and put the console under your bed if your so concerned 1 shelf is allot easier then 6 wall mounts
The picture quality of projector is far less from LED TVs and they using a it's for hours can decrease the eyesight.
Never put PS5 under the bed it's catch dust very quickly and washing floor also damaged your console.
My set-up looks amazing and beautiful it's cost's some money but worth it

you should have to mount PS5 on the very side and make much space between both device's first time check the temperature touching by hand after using 2 to 3 hours of play if you feels heat then increase the space between both devices. Don't just mount and run give some more time to achieve perfect setup. I using it since 2 years ago

Please do NOT ever do this. The heat of the PS5 alone is not safe in a confined space but add the TV and any other devices is asking for them ALL to die in half their expected life span.
No it's not because the TV Mounting is moveable and pull front and make required distance as requirements
It is also bad if a disc based system to have it vertically mounted anyway. Xbox said it was safe to do that with the One, but people soon realised that discs were getting damaged and the drives did not spin correctly, faulty parts. I for one would never stand it vertical.

You should not mount your console behind your TV
1. It decreases airflow to PS5 and can cause over heating, 2. The heat generated from the TV can also increase the heat of the PS5 and cause over heating as the suction fans in the PS5 will suck in hot air produced by the TV.
You can counter the heating issues by keeping room temps at 75 degrees or lower, or having an external fan blowing into the front vents of the PS5 (do not install after market cooling fans as they mount on back and blow air in where it's supposed to come out) if you live in an area where heat advisers are common keep you ps5 in an area with 1ft of open space in all directions.

Some third-party fans are very useful i personally use one for PS4 and PS5 . I m using PS4 external fan last 4 years and 1 year of PS5. It can be attached on the air outlet vents and help the system to exhaust hot air more speedily. It's same as when you install big fan on a small fan big fan can improve the speed of smaller fans by air flow.
And anyone can mount PS5 besides the TV safely by having 1 feet distance in all other devices.

Because then you would have been wrong and convinced others to follow your instructions. I am a gamer, and play my ps religiously. The ps5 produces so much heat. Last year my ps overheated and turned off after my ac broke for 2-3 hours. I had a fan near it. So just imagine what it would be like for someone who plays 8-12 hours a day at a time with it behind a TV that produces heat, on a wall. Sure not every ps might not experience it… but it’s def gonna put a lot at risk and make it break down sooner than it should.
