In this video im doing an overview of my sim racing rig, i have upgraded my next level racing GT Lite with an upgrade i dont think ive seen anyone else do.
I actually stopped playing sims cause after buying this one it was so uncofrtable, my butt starts to fall asleep and it just feels like I'm slipping off, a how to video of chaning the seat would be amazing
I could never drift on CarX with my old Thrustmaster TMX (T150) so I just used a controller until I upgraded to a Thrustmaster TX (T300) and it almost feels as good as drifting in Assetto Corsa.
That is a fact!! I do plan on doing a 3d printed know for the weight! I feel with a shorter shaft and less weight it will feel similar to a short shifter. I did do a mod to the shifter as well to make it feel alot better!
I used the side strap to get my seat to position I needed. I wish they had the strap on both sides cause it would cause a slight twist in beck depending how I movec
It's actually one of the bars from the back of the seat. It just fits perfectly in the mount that the shifter goes in. And I attached the tablet holder to the top of it. It removes really easily and is adjustable
@@hdycreator Nice tip. I thought too on cell phone holder for bikes tô attach on the left, near to steering Wheel... Left side on shifter place I thought to put a keyboard and mouse support. Thanks, your vídeo has opened my mind.
I only had to drill out the rivets on the arms that held the back of the stock seat. Goal was to make it possible to put it back to stock if I ever needed to

for a better working shifter, lower the knob as lower as possible, in your case is too high and weights too much

i would recommened the screw mod for the logitech shifter makes it feel 100x better

I may have to lol. I was waiting for the moza shifter. Kinda bummed it doesn't support sequential as well as h pattern

Yeah I can do a follow up on the rig with a bit more detail on the seat, and shifter handbrake position!

how did you mount your shifter i cant figure it out
It is farther to the right. It's only held onto the mount with one bolt which isn't ideal, but it makes enough room for the ebrake

It's a Bride replica I believe. It's branded Bride, but for the price I got it for no way is it genuine lol

Is the wheel not way too close?
Not at all! The wheel was a bit too low and close to my legs so I dropped the seat to give more space.
