    After the blow dry, get a dryer sheet and do a pass through on your hair to remove frizz and sit the hair nicely.

    Thanks so much for the video, I am trying to not flat iron my hair for the remainder of the year, so this helps. My blow out turned out really good, drying the roots first is key. I was trying to get the TGI Catwalk,(I bought it on Amazon a few years ago for 20.00), but it has went up in price. and it is probably discontinued. I use the Lotta Body blow out lotion, but I will give the Moroccan blowout a try.

    Hi, Kayla I really like your video and I love the results that you got with your hair. I wanted to ask a few questions, is there a reason why you don’t use a vented round brush and which is better for curly hair? How do you feel about the t3 hair dryer or other ionic dryers for this hair style? Should I purchase a ceramic dryer for this style? Or should I get an Elchim? Thanks, again love your video I hope you would be able to make more of these ❤️

    • @misskaylasimone
      @misskaylasimone  6 місяців тому +2

      Elchim for suuuure. I don’t like ionic blow dryers when trying to change hair texture (curly to straight) the ionic technology dries the hair too fast , before you can smooth it properly. I use a non vented brush for the same reason. You get more tension and can stretch the hair much faster than with a vented brush ❤️

    I’m going to try this because everything I’ve tried so far was a disaster. My hair is not as curly as yours but it’s thick and when I’m sectioning I can easily do as much as 20 sections, otherwise they’d be too large. But so many sections are hard to handle and I always end up in a chaos. My other problem is that my hair gets stuck into the brush and I feel like I’m just ripping it out :/
    Ugh, I wish I had more talent to do this. And less hair lol.

One is called 'Straighten Out Anti-Frizz Serum' and the other is 'Control Freak Frizz Control and Straightener.' Do you think either of these could be the same product, just renamed and repackaged? @Jgrulock 5 місяців тому

      @misskaylasimone Thank you, this explains a lot. Unfortunately, my hair can tell you that all blow dryers are not created equal. I've learned by owning over 70 (yeah, it's that serious) in all price ranges , that my hair can look like I came straight of the salon or like I put my finger in the electric socket by just using a different blow dryer. This is frustrating because I can't chance what a hotel room may have when traveling. I've also learned a high price does not necessarily mean it will dry my hair without it poofing up or damaging it. I would love to see a comparison video of ones you would recommend and show how using the right dryer and heat setting can change the outcome as it looks like we have similar hair texture. It would also be great if you could show a light weight option for older women or for those of us who just don't workout with thick ,long. or coarse hair but can't be seen with hair that hasn't been dried properly. Best wishes!

    Hi Kayla, thank you for your great and helpful videos. I stumbled across it accidentally a few days ago. I’ve purchased some of your product and the blow dryer in one of your other videos I think it’s Elchim or something like that. Can you tell me the setting you use because it’s extremely hot which concerned me that it might damage my hair.
    Also could you do a video on how to get the end smooth? I cannot get my ends to look good seem all the split ends show and the curl does not show in the end it’s just dead straight even though I am rind brushing the ends. I must be doing something wrong. I have long hair slightly longer than one of your first images you showed in this video. Just a very short video would be great.
    Thank you again xxx

    • @misskaylasimone
      @misskaylasimone  Рік тому +1

      Hey! If you’re concerned about the heat then use the low heat setting . I have another blow dry video with my long hair- you can see how I roll the ends . Of your ends have split ends, no matter what technique you use, they won’t be smooth you need a haircut . You’re not doing anything wrong I think you just need a good haircut - also if your brush has holes in it , it won’t be as smoothing - mine is bore bristle with no holes for optimal smoothing xo

    • @GeorgiaEckstein
      @GeorgiaEckstein Рік тому

      Hi Kayla, thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question. I thankfully get my ends cut often and when I tried your video it was just cut. My hairdresser can always get the ends perfect but I must say I do struggle. It just does not look good when I do it. It’s not too bad if I set it first and then blow dry it but I was hoping to save time. I do have only bore bristle brushes which I use, I bought them a while back and yes they are good. Once again thank you so much for your response, I will try to find your long hair video. Take care. Xx

    • @misskaylasimone
      @misskaylasimone  Рік тому

      No worries! Ok it would like you just need to roll the ends more. What I do to set the ends is roll with heat continuously then roll the ends and leave it for 30 sec without heat and release. That sets the ends pretty well to be more smooth and bouncy xox good luck!

    Is the wooden brush better?

      If you have curly hair you’re trying to straighten then yes absolutely . It’s amaZing for smoothing.

    Is this result possible with cool blow drying hai??

      Like blow drying with cold air ? No, you need the heat to evaporate the water from the hair rapidly (steam) to change the hair texture.

    Kayla Why did you cut your hair? You look so much better with long hair. I feel the same way about my hair too. :(

      I loved my long hair but it was fried and breaking off . Long hair ain’t cute if it’s not healthy ! …and I don’t think it looks that bad on me 😅

    You're hair was tired of the abuse. I hope you dont assault your hair like that anymore. Its too beautiful to be beat on. 😂

    This is beautiful. Is that the evo Bruce natural bristle 28 or 38 mm brush? @misskaylasimone

      It’s the spike 38!! It’s 10 years old so I think the bristles are now black instead of white - it’s bore and silicone
