Easy Egg Tart Recipe - with French Cream

- This is my gluten and butter free Egg Tart Recipe! The custard filling is made with French Cream and egg yolk for a luxurious creamy mouthfeel. The crust is made of almond and tapioca flour, plus a dose of the same custard mixture. It is easier to make compared to the classic butter short crust!

@@RuthCBH It can be used as whipping cream. Whipping cream is just high fat fresh cream. You can find Payson Breton and President at the supermarket shelves

Why add tapioca flour doc?
When I use all Almond flour, the texture was a little too hard. The tapioca flour makes it more brittle
Just tried this recipe today.
Have to agree that the egg tart is smooth and silky when baked at 120 degrees. But then, the tart is still underbaked.
Guess i have to bake the tart longer before adding in the custard.
Yes, every oven is different so you have to adjust accordingly
Tried but not sure why the yolk is not cook even after longer time. Followed thru step by step but it didnt work..
What do you mean but not cooked?
The temp is in Celsius not Fahrenheit.
