I am so thankful that I found your channel years ago when I was first teaching myself how to crochet. Your videos help me so much as you are an amazing teacher and you make crocheting easy and understandable. I have made several blankets and hats as gifts from your library of beautiful patterns and I am always so proud to give a lovely end product. Happy to see you collaborate with your sister as well. Love, love, love your channel.
Very glad this video came up! As a newbie in the crochet world… thank goodness 4 years later, this still popped up 😊 Loved the explanation of the measuring guidelines you used! It was also communicated in a way that makes one feel you are right there with them chatting away 😊
Hi! Your video single handedly taught me how to crochet!!! I'd never held a crochet needle ever in my life before this. I was also able to reach a goal of mine- to crochet a hat for all my loved ones for Christmas. I am currently on hat #7 and I started 3 weeks ago. Thank you!!!!
There are a lot of crochet videos out there, that are very well made, but, this is exactly what I was looking for, the look of the pattern, and your slow thorough explanation. Thank you👌🏽
So simple! Thank you. I waited for you to gather the top of the hat after you weaved through the stitches and show the finished project, which may have been good for a beginner. Will your pattern work with other Bulky size 5 yarn? Ty! :)
Thank you for a wonderful video. I just started crocheting and this hat is my first project ever, you made it so easy to follow! I am almost finished with it, but I wanted to ask, when joining the 2 ends together, will there be a difference if I use both front and back post of one side instead of just the back post like in your video?? Thank you again.
hey! thx so much i really wanted to make my dear grandpa a winter hat! but i didnt know how to crochet or knit and then i saw my great grandmother crocheting and i really wanted to ask her to teach me, but she didnt know how to explain it and so i went to yt! i watched many tutorials and i might be ready to make a hat! also i needed a new hobby ;-;

Thank you so much for this video, I have never crocheted before today and I almost have half a hat done!!! I love it so much!
Actuslly, these hats look great sans pom pom. ❤. I like to make mine long enough to have a nice turned up brim.
Such a cool stitch… I have some Puzzle yarn to try it with. ❤
Great Instructions , thank you . 🌻❤️

How many 1st chain i should make if i want to make it with a brim?
If I use 4 ply yarn, will I need more yarn or just 100g?
I know this is an older video but do you have a recommendation on how many rows to do for three-year-old?
I’m looking for different sizing too? For kids.. you get any answers?
Question. I have a very big head. What size hat will this make?
How long should the chain measure out to? I’m personally not a huge fan of bulky yarn like this but I still want to give it a try
A good rule is from the crown of your head to your nose
You can use A "4". I make most of my hats using 4. They work up very nice.
How many yarns did you use plzz
Thanks so much
I appreciate the 2 views. I'm a beginner but uncomfortable with stitches other than basic single or double chains! 😅
Does the chain one count as a stitch?
ty for the easy tutorial
nice
How do you add the pom pin just sew it
Easy pattern
Hi! Can I use bernat velvet yarn for this hat?
I think so
💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
I to crochet toddler i dont no how many chains can please tell me please
Thank you
This is so easy, thank you! Did you use one whole yarn skin for one hat?
Yes 😊
Easy
Or - you can crochet from the outside end of the yarn ball or skein. No need to fiddle around to find the inside “guts” of the yarn. 🤣
Is K not 6.5?
Where can you get this yarn?
Hi there! You can get the Bernat Roving on the Yarnspirations website.
Or you could get it at hobby lobby or Michael’s I guess xD
بهارم..سلام..😊👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹🌹👏🌹🌹🌹
