    I made my husband a very very happy man with this meal tonight!! The last Thai restaurant we went to just didn't cut it for their massuman curry. He was disappointed ☹️. Your recipe is AMAZING. I served it with some Jasmine rice. And so much for a small bowl😁.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Pad Thai next?

    Wow! Great recipe! This is the first recipe from your site I’ve made, and this is a great start! I used my dry Vitamix container for the dry lemon grass, and I thank you for coaching me through it- I filtered it twice to eliminate the woody stuff! This was my first experience with tamarin paste, and thank you for advising us to remove the seeds from this “seedless” paste! I was expecting the red curry paste to have more heat, and wonder how to accomplish that next time. I love your cooking show! Thanks so much!

    You can order lemongrass powder, it's called sereh, it's often used in the Indonesian kitchen. Thanks for the delicious recipe 👍🏻

    You always make it so easy. I like the way you explain, so calm but at the same time passionally. We can see it on your face tasting the meals 😊 and giving us advices about what we have to buy or add, because other way it wouldn't be the right flavour. I apreciate you don't make us miss any flavour experience. Thank you.

    I wish we could see close up images at you cook. Just a suggestion. It helps me to know what to expect better. :) sounds good though.

    Why aren't you using Massaman curry paste as opposed to Red curry paste? You can saute the curry paste in some coconut milk first, then add the vegetables, coconut and water etc for a more intense flavour.

    I keep frozen Lemongrass in my freezer, I found it in an Asian supermarket (again, in the frozen section). Looking forward to trying this recipe!

    OMG,!!! This is amazingly delicious! I love your recipes and your easy to follow videos! So far, I made your African Peanut sauce, mushroom stroganoff, chickpeas marsala.... all fantastic! I'm new at this and, having cut out sugar, I'm discovering how great vegetables taste!!! Thank you!! MJ 🇨🇦

    You can soak lemon grass and tamarind paste in hot water for a minute and then use that water after straining it...

    I am 2 for 2 so far with your recipes! I loved this one! I over cooked the veggies a bit and added mushrooms too. Perfect thinness for me and will definitely make this one again. This is not too difficult either. You're the best!!!

    How about showing a picture of the completed cooked soup in a bowl for presentation purposes, that would be nice, instead of just tasting and gobbling it and telling everyone it’s so good, which I’m sure it is as it looks tasty. Thx For sharing. What’s the calorie count per bowl of the soup?

    Try borscht soup. It's delicious and it's easy to find a vegan recipe. Make sure to add the beet greens to the soup because it makes a big difference.

    Hi again! :). I have not tried this recipe yet but plan to so I have a couple of questions: 1) is there any reason mushrooms cannot be added to this?; 2) how does the finished dish compare to your green curry in terms of taste/other characteristics?; and 3) I like a 'soupier' curry versus a thicker one - which one would I want to go with? You're the best!

    • @wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow
      @wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow  6 років тому

      Yes, you can add mushrooms. That would be delicious! The finished dish is creamier than the green curry. Personally, I like Massaman waaaaaaay better and I like it soupier so I don't let it cook down too far which turns the broth thick. Even if it does get thick you can just add a little water. =) . You will love it!

      I would slice into bite sized pieces and bake it for 30 min. at 350 on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Do this first. Then start the rest🤗
