I’m SOLD. I think the vegan healthy kitchen essentials are: instant pot, high-speed blender and air fryer.
Add in a masticating juicer and food processor.
I found that the air fryer gave everything a chemical under taste from the plastic coating.
Kayti Sullivan now I don’t feel so bad for not having one. Not good to eat foods saturated in toxic fumes.

Even though she is trying to speak fast to get all the info in, I’m amazed at the amount of info I learned from this video. I am new to Insta Pot, and the pamphlet that came with my 6 qt Duo was not very helpful. I will def order her cookbook and I know I will rewatch this video over and over again. At 68 and someone that has been cooking since I was six years old, it is much harder to switch over to not only being plant based but learning a new appliance as well. 🙋♀️
Get her cookbook of course 🙂 but I also have been able to make a lot of new and delicious dishes by googling the ingredients I have plus ‘instant pot’ and find all kinds of interesting recipes. Once you get used to cook times of different ingredients you can adapt all kinds of recipes for the instant pot!

Same here and they are vastly more expensive here in Canada. But I bought one anyway. Looking for a mushroom soup today but don't see one. And my hubby wants a pakora recipe.
I give the squash seeds & gunk to the squirrels. They love eating it.

This video might be 4 years old already, but I've just got my Instant Pot and feeling inspired! I'm not a busy lawyer, but a teacher, and I needed a time-saving device to still be able to eat decently. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

You touched on everything I love about the Instant Pot. I have 2! It “makes” time for other things because you can walk away, as you said. I cook a lot of beans, rice, and potatoes.

I am so excited by this video I've just seen! I have only just received my first ever Instant Pot, which I bought primarily so I could cook beans and pulses really... I'm starting on the MacDougall "Starch Solution" eating plan after the holidays and that means basically a vegan diet without added processed oils for cooking with. My mom and grandmother used their pressure cookers frequently, but the features and accessories on these contemporary models far exceed the capability of those original models. I am in my 50s and trying to eat healthier with more vegetables. I just might decide to buy an instant pot or other pressure cooker. Thanks for this highly informative and inspiring video. You made me smile too since cooking is not a perfect experience every time (teapot lid).

I can’t live without my instant pot. I actually want to get a second! Im using it right now to batch make kidney beans for sweet potato soul’s vegan red beans and rice recipe and to put in my three bean chili w/Beyond’s “ground beef”. Thanks for sharing. It is so lovely the pictures are so pretty and I also love that there are many options to make dishes gluten free as I now have to eliminate from my diet for health reasons.
