The Euro Fords were definitely different from the U.S. models... unique
but some were definitely inspired by US designs. :)

This car was actually listed as a Consul Capri.if you look up 'Consul Capri' on google,you'll see one in this colour with whitewall tyres.

That is so awsome car
The Capri was based on the Consul 315 (which was a 4 door). Iused to have the 315, affectionately called the 'Batmobile'. Great restoration by the way.

Beautiful job, my favorite Capri ever. They sold them in the US in limited numbers, so maybe I'll own the real thing someday.
Wow, what a result! These 1960's classic cars need saving from the rubish bin. This poor thing looked really sorry for itself, with no wheels and the rest. You did a great job there Danny. I really like the red interior with the white steering wheel with this colour.

Dude, use lava soap on your hands! Try putting the windscreen in some liquid floor polish to make it look new.

I remember a neighbour having one on their drive in the early 70's, not sure if it went, probably just about, it was quite the curiosity even 45+ years ago.

Beautiful result! When I was a kid, in the mid 1960's there was one of these (real) a few doors down from my house. It only ever went out on weekends. Yes, it's a lovely design.
The model after where they removed the c pillar looks even cooler i think.
