Love them both Danny , the orange Capri looks awesome considering its a cheaper end model , yiu're made it look 10 times better. And l remember the Mk1 from Bad Taste film that film is hilarious 😄 . Great job on both Danny !👍
Two fine looking cars Danny.👌 Fun cars to drive too; not for the faint-hearted. They drove beautifully in straight lines but corners, even roundabouts, were a laugh a minute. If you look up "tail happy" in a dictionary, there's just a picture of a Capri 3ltr. Excellent work on *both* vehicles.👍 Cheers for now, Dougie.
Incredible transformations. I like the way you play tribute to how people customized these cars back in the day. And the irony is that you won't find any of the real cars anymore!
Even before listening to your commenting on what colors fans were asking you to on these Capris, I was thinking orange with the S stripes would like awesome and lo and behold, you did that exact paint scheme. Brilliant! The Matchbox MK1 looks awesome too! I restored the same Matchbox MK1 but painted it bright red to mimic my 1st ever car back in the early 80s. It would have looked nice to replicate a Perana Capri in bright yellow with a black bonnet for the MK 1 too. Great work!
Two silk purses from sow's ears. I liked the Matchbox, but it sat way too high, as you said, and I never cared for the Corgi, as it always had that thick, white paint all over it. But you've made them both look awesome. Nice one. P.S.- if you get any more Mk III Capri models, paint one gold, and one silver, to represent the cars used by Bodie and Doyle in the TV show 'The Professionals'.
Both of them turned out great, I like matchboxes casting a little bit better than corgis. That doesn't matter though because you did one hell of a job on both of those.
I have same white Capri but with beige interior. respray it on red like my '79 Capri was "born" :) Orange one look awsome, door handles in mk3 should be black :)
EXCELLENT JOB DANNY LOVE THE DEEP PURPLE (FLAVORITE COLOR) AND THE DETAIL YA GAVE BOTH OF THEM MATE. SIDE NOTE NOW IM NOT SURE BOUT OTHER COUNTRIES BUT HERE IN THE U.S.A THE CAPRI WAS MADE BY MERCURY NOT FORD EVEN THO THEY ARE PART OF THE SAME CAR COMPANY I SAY THIS CUZ I OWNED A 1983 MERCURY CAPRI. ☆☆☆☆☆👍👍
I drove a used red Mercury Capri back in the early 80's. Looked a lot like your before Mk1. If only I could have cleaned it up as easily. :) Great work.
Hi, nice made restorations! The Ford Capri was here in Germany the rival of the Opel Manta A. It was a great time to drive both of them. I decided to take the Opel. It had double Headlights and looked more sportive than the first Capri. But it was an aera when cars from different manufacturers looked different, not like today. Greetings and best wishes!
Wow!!! Being a citizen of the U.S. of A, I have no references for the movie or TV cars you modelled these from. But they seem to be "spot on" as you might say. They both go way beyond their basic toy roots and now look interesting and fascinating, and so well done. On to the next, continue to have fun with your toys and productions!!!
Beautiful customs. I love the paintjob on the Matchbox and that orange on the Corgi. Orange is one of my favorite colors and looks good on most cars in my opinion.
They both came out decent, but if you are going the customization route I think there was a missed opportunity with the Mark I Capri in the details in the grille. You could have added a touch of orange/yellow to the indicator lights, possibly painted the headlights white, or a different color silver and even blackened in some of the grille so the silver really popped from the background. The Mark II came out great, and a good departure from the original.
Wow, both cars turned out really beautiful. The Corgi turned out the best in my opinion. Those wheels are perfect for this casting and they go good with the paint scheme. Excellent job. Thanks for sharing another great video, take care and stay safe.
looking great! love the colour choices and the wheels in both. :) also, the "S" decal looks accurate. I think there were also designs that had the stripe cut into blocks, and several "S" fading out towards the "S" at the rear wheel well. maybe you could design those too, and sell them in sets. there are so many corgi capri Mk3 out there, there must be a market. I know I'd buy a set!
Always had a tough time with which I liked more with these. I did always have one as the baddie though... Matchbox had the more Rally look to it so it at most times was the baddie. Corgi suspension was great in their trucks, not so much in some Cars, yet the Body on this one screamed Agent. Ahhh yes, great times ;} Proper job mate. I still want to pay you to make me some if I send them. Truth, my wife thinks I'm such a kid and crazy too, buuuuut..
😂 You know I was right about lowering it mate. Both look great 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Omg .... the matchbox capri is now REALLY a capri😍😍😍😍😍
The corgi especially was a fantastic transformation
Brought those back from the dead. They look great!
Love them both Danny , the orange Capri looks awesome considering its a cheaper end model , yiu're made it look 10 times better. And l remember the Mk1 from Bad Taste film that film is hilarious 😄 . Great job on both Danny !👍
They both came out great! 100% better than the originals.

The Matchbox casting looks FABULOUS!!
Wish my Ford Cari looked that good back in the days of the 1970,s.
Incredible transformations. I like the way you play tribute to how people customized these cars back in the day. And the irony is that you won't find any of the real cars anymore!
Thanks for keeping the videos flowing as we all go through trying times...
Great job on both..especially the Corgi..gheeze, you brought that one back from the grave.
Both of these are in decent shape with good bones...
Wow ,they looking very nice. Awesome. I love Ford Capri and all vintage Ford cars.
A FANTASTIC job on the Corgi casting too!!
Two beautiful results! Everything about them was better and appropriate. Great job as always!
Even before listening to your commenting on what colors fans were asking you to on these Capris, I was thinking orange with the S stripes would like awesome and lo and behold, you did that exact paint scheme. Great work!
Two gorgeous Capris Danny. Excellent job on them 🍻
Difficult to choose which is best as they're both superb.
I used to have a mk1 and a mk2 real ones of them danny wish i still had em now wud be worth a small fortune now
Always liked this car. The orange one does it for me. Thanks mate
Beautiful job on both Danny, but the Bad Taste car is superb!
You did a great job as usual. Had the Matchbox as a kid. It was orange with black hood. The lowered stance on yours is a great improvement
Nice Aftermarket Rims and Tires for both of these...
Two silk purses from sow's ears. I liked the Matchbox, but it sat way too high, as you said, and I never cared for the Corgi, as it always had that thick, white paint all over it. But you've made them both look awesome. Nice one.

An EXCELLENT job customizing both of these!!.. 💘 the extra details you've added to both of these!! Thanks buddy!!
Both of them turned out great, I like matchboxes casting a little bit better than corgis. That doesn't matter though because you did one hell of a job on both of those.
Good work on both Danny. Dropping that ride height on the MB one was essential, and you really added a lot of detail to an otherwise bland Corgi Capri
I have same white Capri but with beige interior. respray it on red like my '79 Capri was "born" :) Orange one look awsome, door handles in mk3 should be black :)
Nice work you made them look like capri's
I hardly recognized them as capri's in their original state
White letter tires are the best!
They both look really good!! Hard to pick which one is favorite.
They both turned out really nice 👍👍😊
a couple of nice capri gears.
Get job Danny. Let’s hope there are more videos y to watch during self isolation lol
Really like the way the MB came out
Nice job Danny, both look fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻☮️ stay safe.
Great job Danny, big improvement on both car’s. I like the matchbox one better. But both paint jobs look great.👍👍
EXCELLENT JOB DANNY LOVE THE DEEP PURPLE (FLAVORITE COLOR) AND THE DETAIL YA GAVE BOTH OF THEM MATE. Love those Capris, both look so good, that's hard to pick favourite of them. 😎
Both turned out GREAT Danny !! Likecthat orange Corgi the best.
I drove a used red Mercury Capri back in the early 80's. Looked a lot like your before Mk1. If only I could have cleaned it up as easily. :) Great work.
Really Excellent Danny I Must Say MMMM Yes!!!
They look incredible! It is hard to believe how nice they look compared to how bad they were before. THanks for sharing this, it was a great tutorial.
Fantastic job. Love both paint jobs and choice of wheels 👍
Ford Capris Matchbox version is my choice. Awesome job on both
I had the Corgi. I bought it with my allowance in 1972-1973. It was less than a dollar.
Tengo un Ford Capri también para hacerlo Customs !!
The matchbox castings always look much better, quality much higher on everything
Nice job on both cars. Big improvement.
Another fantastic restoration, two for the price of one
The Matchbox and Corgi version of the Capri...
Love those colours and the new wheels look really good. I particularly like the stripe on the orange.
Well Done on both! I have not seen the movie ‘Bad Taste’, so I’m gonna check it out. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
....couldn't pk a favorite if you paid me both pieces are jus gorgeous meng...thankx for sharing..
I as much as anyone else knows about going through trying times but I always love your videos they are great
Look great as always Danny, I really like that orange
Hey man look's very good love the work love the Ford's keep them coming 😎👍👍👍
Good job - always felt Corgi weren't very well detailed compared to Matchbox. The inner wings on the MK1 should be body colour though...
They both looked nice! Great work!

Both cars looks awesome!! I want both lol

Great job on bough cars danny
I had a 1977 Mercury Capri and it was orange, I loved the car
US car.these are European saloons my friend!
Both great but corgi rules. Beautiful job Danny.

Jörg
Nice builds and paint jobs !
Looking great Dan. Bad taste, that takes me back, haven't seen that flick since highschool.
