Fantastic video! No fluff and clear step by step instructions. My one recommendation is to test the mirror electronics before putting the door cover back on. If there is a problem (bad replacement part, whatever), you want that discovery sooner than later.

Great video, only thing that was missing for me was the color cover that goes on the outside of the mirror trying to figure out how to take it off of the old mirror and put it on the new mirror has been a little challenge trying not to break it

Great video. I had to laugh you referring to the socket as “number 13!” North Americans just can’t bear to use metric speak and say millimetres! 😂 Thanks again.
Thanks for your feedback and sense of humor! Our main goal with these videos is to make car repairs more approachable for everyone, even when there might be some cultural differences in terminology involved. Procedure is the same. The mirrors may be different appearance and may have lights unlike some base models. Heat, electric control, electric fold and lights are all the possible features.
Because 95% of people don’t have the tools and skill to even attempt this. Also, tradespeople have to feed themselves and their family, pay for tools, lease a shop, pay for advertising, taxes and licenses. Maybe you can start doing whatever you do for cheap! I’m sure your boss would be appreciative. See….I already know you’re a minion and not a boss or business owner by your comment!
Aftermarket mirror alone is about $60 from what I'm seeing. Average shop rate is ~$100 / hr. But that can vary a lot based on location, or if you "know a guy." If you're at a dealer (using OEM parts), times that 3 or 4. Minimum.

Good timing. I have to replace the mirror on mine. Thanks for the vid.

Would this apply to a 2016 Town and Country as well? I assume it would, but would like to be sure.

Are the caravan and town and country mirrors interchangeable
Check the functionality and features but I believe in most cases they are. Base model DGC in Canada has power and heat but no lights. Same procedure.
I don't know why mechanics want to charge 50-70$ for this
For the skill.
