Thanks for this video! My 2019 Grand Caravan’s lock stopped responding to the fob or door electric locks to either unlock or lock. The manual key still worked it, but everything electric stopped. The actuator was clearly the culprit. You saved me like $500 bucks at the shop! Only took me about 2 hours to complete, though I probably could’ve gone a little faster if I was pressed. You’re the real hero today!
im replacing that same actuator...2017. i watched 5 videos before i found yours.. Perfect explanations and operations. some of the other vids i couldn't believe how much effort some were doing and breaking stuff. dummies. the only thing different i did was to hold the window up out of the way with plungers on a wire. made for this. the actuator was china brand and did not slip into the tracks. i used a dremel to shave a small angle off the 2nd track on the actuator so it would slip into the track without breaking anything. all good to go. thanx for the vid.
At 23:37, if you want to make your life 1000x easier, plug that cable in before you put the panel on the door. If you already put the panel on, you can make you life 500x easier by taking the panel off, and then plugging that cable in.
You are 100% correct about that, I tried to do it once without without plugging it in before putting the panel on and it was a pain fishing through that small space and the bar for the lock pop up in the way. Then I saw a guy do it while the panel was out and just insert it with the panel and it was way easier.
How were you able to know if it's the actuator is the problem.Also were you able to examine what is the actual problem of the actuator. Thanks .I like your video.

Can the actuator be the blame for the door handle from inside won’t open cable is good door handle nothing broken have the same vehicle
