  • Replacing the berries with peaches in this cream pie totally works! Peaches that are ripe and ready to eat are the best! They easily peal and don’t need to go through that boiling and cooling process. I diced up about 3 cups of juicy peaches and baked this for 55 minutes at 350 degrees and it was awesome! I wish I could share with you just how good my house smelled!!!

    For the filling:
    3 cups diced peaches, peeled
    3/4 cup of sugar
    1/3 cup all purpose flour
    2 large eggs
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    For the crumb topping:
    2 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
    2 tablespoons sugar
    a pinch of nutmeg
    1/4 cup butter, melted
    1/2 cup + 2 1/2 tablespoons flour
    Pie Crust:
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 cup butter flavored crisco
    1/4 cup cold water
