isn't your calculation out by x10? the bag you recommend 25kg, Amazon says it treats 1250m^2, which works out at 20g per m^2 (the bag states 20-35 g per square meter), so for 100m^2 you'd use 2kg.
If you were using it as a granular yes that is correct. My calculations are based on a liquid rate 👍 if you put on that much you would scorch the lawn with a liquid

@Premier_lawns_official Thankyou, nice. I've always thought the lawn industry ought to look ahead to the future - where filling most of your garden with a sterile unproductive crop is perhaps less desirable. They'll be a market for whatever comes next I'm sure and I wish someone would jump on it.
@@Premier_lawns_official Thanks for the reply. Last year, I had red thread for the first time on my lawn (Hamburg). However, I didn't hear in the video how I should treat it. As a side issue, we have a lot of moles here in Germany and for this reason it is difficult to carry out the usual lawn care processes because we put down a mesh to combat them. I have still managed to cultivate a decent lawn, but I can only lightly aeriate the lawn. I am just a bit betwixt and between as to whether I should destroy the mesh, or not. Anyway, thanks for the great content!
@@mickeymouse7861 we don't have moles in Ireland, thankfully. The best way to treat red thread is with Nitrogen and grow it out. Welcome to the channel

Welcome to the channel, I'm from Belfast Northern Ireland and i know people struggle with my accent, we put english subtitles on there for that reason. Where are you from?
The comment section here is a good insight into why we're losing so many vital pollinator and insect species 😞 work alongside nature and wildlife, not against it! Also, the laughable thing is if you left the clover in your lawn, you would have more nitrogen in the soil 😂
Pure grass lawns sucks. They cost you money, time and are wasting water. Clover lawn are less time consuming, didn't cost you anything but seeds, are beneficial to environment and soil. Also they look like fairy tale.
@@Premier_lawns_official I'm trying to establish one but have couch grass infestation on my wild lawn. I sown Clover and hope it will win with that devil grass.
Why kill clover, it’s great for bees, plus a monoculture lawn is bad. It lacks biodiversity and is thus bad for the environment. It’s a lawn, not a bowling or golf green.
Hi Robbie I am planning on killing the lawn off and starting again. I would like to level it, would you suggest rotovating the dead grass and soil or just level over the top with sand and top soil? Many thanks Paul

You could sow clover every spring after the frosts have passed. Don't feed the lawn or mulch etc will help speed up the process
This video will help you

@Premier_lawns_official Thankyou, nice. I've always thought the lawn industry ought to look ahead to the future - where filling most of your garden with a sterile unproductive crop is perhaps less desirable. They'll be a market for whatever comes next I'm sure and I wish someone would jump on it.
@@oliver8928 there are seed mixtures on the market with dwarf clover in with the grass seed
Was it me or did you not say how to treat red thread?
Is there a question in there?
Why should anyone wants to get rid of clover? These green deserts are absolutely despicable! Let the flowers blossom and feed the bees and bumblebees!
❤️👍
I had to click on this as the title was so shocking. “How to kill clover”. Why would you want to kill clover. Green desert is a good description, well said Joan. Unfortunately people love these.
because when your kids play on the lawn with bare feet they could step on a bee like i did and couldn't put my foot on the floor for a few days lol
Joan sounds like Biden voter.
@@rickydenardis8597 No, I'm German
Funny how you say. What about you?
In Somerset we say How be on?
Good man, it's a Belfast thing ❤️
Subtitules in Spanish ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

Welcome to the channel, I'm from Belfast Northern Ireland and i know people struggle with my accent, we put english subtitles on there for that reason. Where are you from?

Hello 👋
Hi 😁
That was some bad sun we had for 5 weeks not good for The lawns
@@paulmateer9080 Loved the sun, would have loved a few showers in between even more haha
@@Premier_lawns_official LOL 😆
The comment section here is a good insight into why we're losing so many vital pollinator and insect species 😞 work alongside nature and wildlife, not against it!
Also, the laughable thing is if you left the clover in your lawn, you would have more nitrogen in the soil 😂
Thanks for the feedback
Pure grass lawns sucks. They cost you money, time and are wasting water.
Clover lawn are less time consuming, didn't cost you anything but seeds, are beneficial to environment and soil. Also they look like fairy tale.
I'm growing one at the moment!
We all have different things we want to achieve, thanks for the comments 👍
Hi Robbie
I am planning on killing the lawn off and starting again. I would like to level it, would you suggest rotovating the dead grass and soil or just level over the top with sand and top soil? Many thanks Paul
If you are rotovating you would be best to strip the old lawn off it first.
We did it like this, saved a lot of that ua-cam.com/video/HEQ1-qztvEY/v-deo.html
@@Premier_lawns_official brilliant thank you
Your lawn looks amazing. Thanks for the tips
So nice of you 😁
