My lord what a great ALS history lesson by the best person in the business. Thank you Sir. I could have listened to today’s lesson for hrs. All the best and good health to all who will watch today’s show. Zeitworks is my all time favorite.
Missed this live , just catching up with the archives . Tim, your encyclopedic knowledge never fails to astound For a brand with such a concentrated history and bevy of halo pieces , I can’t believe how perfectly you encapsulated the brands narrative history . It felt both exhaustive and succinct at the same time . Reminds me of the good old days when your JLC collection could be a standalone history for the modern house
I always look forward to 10pm GMT on Monday’s, Tim is going to educate me! The format of tonight’s show was really good. The Lange history was fascinating. A succinct lesson featuring some beautiful watches inter dispersed with the usual wrist shots that didn’t disappoint. Well done WatchBox Team for bringing the viewers such a quality program. ✊
Great Lange retrospective Tim. I still remember when I acquired my first Lange from Govberg many years ago. I thought it would be just a one of acquision but it became a one of my horology passions :) Cheers
The blue jacket looks terrific along with your excellence as a watch educator for all of us, exceptional work once again, the Lange for watch commentary. I have a Saxonia Moonphase, black dial, one of the best.
@@the1916companywatchreviews Got to know more about Lange from ur show. I'm worry by the time I saved up for my grail, their price will be sky high. Love their detail works on their timepieces. Also was told they will assemble & stripped down & re-assemble the 2nd time?
Would’ve liked a mention of the 1815 Chronograph. It has the wondrous movement of the Datograph in a manageable size for most wrists. Case thickness is the main sticking point with a few of the otherwise incredible Lange watches. Please find a way to make the Zeitwerk a thinner watch and you’ll have a multi-year waiting list and aftermarket prices over $100K.
Say Tim, you do know that GP offers the 1966 with a starred blue aventurine dial, very similar to AL&S’s, and they make a steel version of it for under $10K, right? It’s called the “Orion”. My only critique of it is its brash white dial printing which I think they could have done in cosmo blue and left off the word “AUTOMATIC” off. But beyond that, it’s absolutely beautiful!
Another informative and action packed show. Thanks Tim! I'd be interested in having you do a similar recap of Sinn. I just took delivery of a 556 I RS on an H-link and it hasn't left my wrist. I may have to ditch a few other pieces from my collection because the Sinn is that nice and it's commandeering my wrist.
ALS is a great brand no doubt about it. Germany should be proud of them. They really did come out of left field with extreme talent in movement manufacturer. But I would like to see more case variations and in general the "rest of the watch" ,
Thats definitely Not a Genta rip-off. I can agree with that all day. Whatever else you would say(good or bad), they made the 'steel sports watch' their way and you can see it clear as day. Watch enthusiast or anyone else.
Bought that OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph with Sedna Gold & Tantalum today from watchbox! Kudos to Alex for being an awesome rep and a wealth of info to offer. Folks, if you want to work with someone that's quite direct and honest when answering questions, give him a ring!
The very notion of a "complete Lange collection" verges on the absurd. Maybe if you're a Saudi prince, it's a hobby to consider. The Odysseus is my primary just-out-of-reach grail: it pushes ALL of my buttons.
@@the1916companywatchreviews From your naval career to your current on-going success, you are an inspiration in so very many ways, and a model for all. May the wish-fulfillment scenario I vocalized (from an old razor commercial) indeed come true one day!

@@the1916companywatchreviews no way, I’m pretty confident in saying that there are plenty among us that would love to see a lot more of this 👍
This show is so so good. Tim I don’t know how you do it so consistently, but the watch community continues to benefit.
Cheers

Great presentation of an Awesome brand!! There’s nothing like a Lange!
We definitely need more Lange only episodes ❤️

Probably my favorite show ever. Lange is my favorite manufacturer. I love my Rolex but will eventually get into an 1815 chronograph one day.
The 1815 chrono might just be my favorite watch of all time by any brand at any price point ❤️
@@dnlmoretti finally got one 4 months ago from Watchbox! Rose gold with black dial.

Thanks Tim and crew. Love the show. Trying to be better on the timing. Best wishes!

Lange is the reason why the Stern family wants to keep producing their Nautilus like AP with their RO to go a little mass market
Very interesting and informative stream. Learned a lot as always. Thank you, Tim. Thank you, Watchbox. Thank you to everyone in the chat.
i can never seem to catch this live!!!!! lolol love the show i watch all keep up the good work

hey! Just found your channel and WOW you are a fountain of knowledge! Subbed and excited as i'm about to make purchase myself
Welcome!!
Can't say anything bad about the Zeitwerk. It deserves every compliment and more.
I'll trade a kidney for a Zeitwerk and a Chronograph-tourbillon.
Great videos Tim

I wish these were just a tad later so I could participate. Still, another great video chat Tim!
Lange 1, the frontrunner watch I am debating on getting as my retirement watch in five years.
Damn whichever handsome gent bought the Breitling Premier B09 Pistachio towards the end of the video must be a really cool guy 😉.
Great show Tim, Lange rocking it. 🥃

1815 chrono, white gold case, black dial is the Lange I would want to get (next to many other models).
Süpep!!! A.Lange❤❤❤

Lange Mmm..😘😘😘
To buy an Odysseus one must first spend $26K+ on another Lange, and then you'll be on a wait list.
Yep. They playing the game now.
I was just told 55k min spend for the blue oddyseus. 40k for the white gold
Lange is the King in my humble opinion
Missed the live show :(
@@the1916companywatchreviews Great show! AL&S is one of my favorites!
wow... Breitling SuperOcean and the bank vault!
I would take the Odisseus 10 times out of 10 over any of the steel sports from the Trinity.... Genta designs are overated AF
kept the show run time tight tonight
