Hey guys!
How is everyone feeling today?
I'm very curious what you guys think about immunity. It's not a subject I have heard a lot recently and I think it's really important to do everything you can to keep your immune system strong especially right now. What are you doing specifically for your health?
So these messages to you guys in my videos are almost like my diaries. I talk about what's going on in my life and what is going on in my mind. I always do my best to stay positive and look at the brighter side of things and in the past year we've started to reflect on what we are grateful for. You'll see what I'm talking about in the first few minutes of the video, but I'm starting to figure some things out.
So on a more positive note we are finally starting something we have been working on for a long time! A matcha brand and guess what! We found the best matcha we've had so far and after months of testing we're almost ready to introduce everyone to @nekomatcha! Does anyone here know what Neko means? We have been drinking matcha pretty much daily since we met and after our last trip to Kyoto and exploring matcha in Uji we wanted to introduce a matcha so tasty that you wouldn't need anything but matcha powder and water.
So I'm going to be leaving for work in a few hours so I'm excited to read your comments. I hope everyone subscribes and if you're knew to the community let me know!

Oh! What do you guys think about our slogan "So Matcha Better"?
Ingredients crust:
- 1.5 cup of gluten free oats
- 1.5 cup of almonds
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 4 tbsp coconut sugar
- 4-6 tbsp melted coconut oil.
Filling:
- 2 package ( about 300g) silken tofu
- 2/3 cup full fat coconut milk
- 4 tbsp coconut sugar
- 2 lemon zest and juice
- 2 tbsp arrowroot
- 4 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp matcha powder
Method:
Bake the crust for 20 minutes on 350F, after add the filing and bake for another 30 minutes. Let it cool for 30 minutes on room temperature and transfer to the fridge for another 2.5 hours.

To be honest having grown up in Europe being stuck in America during corona virus made me realize how much I want to go back!!
So happy for you getting to go see your family! You deserve the time off just being with them - it's always so grounding to do that. Sending you a lot of love and safe wishes!
Loved the vlog and absolutely loved the cake. Thanks for putting the receipe in the desc. box ❤️ Tip for separating from the pan - i use sawing thread. Also good to separate baked base in 2 or 3 layers
I also want to move back home as I haven't seen my family back in the UK for 9 months and am here alone but I haven't decided what to do yet. Don't want to give up my job and apartment in SF. But I think it's a great idea to go back to Europe and be with family!

Totally understand when you said about the working visa thing! It changes everyday. Sometimes I want to come back home but I was worried I couldn’t go back and I would lose my job because of that.:( I’m thinking about leaving as well.

The most recomendly is put in a paper betchween the mold and the dough!
@sannevloet If you line the bottom layer of the pan with parchment paper, it’s so much cleaner to slide the treat off! 💕

Here another Dutchie living in the USA. Normally I spend 3 months in Holland in summer to take care of my mother (88 years old). I wrote to the Dutch Embassy and they told me that I could only travel to Holland in case of an emergency and beforehand I should talk to the "Marechaussee". It seems you don't have a problem to travel from an orange zone into The Netherlands? I would very much appreciate knowing how you arranged it and how it worked out because I also miss my family so much (has been already a year that I did not see them).
Hi! If you have a dutch passport there is no issue traveling into the Netherlands even when you are coming from an orange zone. ( you just need to quarantine) The question is if you can travel back into the U.S. I still havent find an answer to that! But if you don't mind spending some time in the Netherlands it should be a problem. Hope this helped! X

Hi Sanne, if you cut some parchment paper in a circle and grease it with coconut oil, the cheesecake is easier to remove from the bottom of the baking pan. It should slide right off :-)

I get the panic of feeling like it’s not getting better. Don’t listen to the news, lol, it freaks you out😖. In Arizona, we started to flatten the curve awhile ago. A lot of people got it but they made it through and the hospitals weren’t overwhelmed. But we got a lot of backlash 😕. My fam and I got Covid-19 and it does knock you off your feet for awhile but it is relieving to have had it and no longer have to worry about getting it. This is long, lol, but try not to freak out, it’ll be ok. 😉😊. Excited for your Holland vlogs! 🤩😊

You should use baking paper and cut it out the same size as the bottom of the pan. Slides off the pan so easily 😊

It is a great decision and I totally understand that you felt "trapped". Oh, and I also always get anxious when I pack, run like a fool around the house with a list of things I wanna pack for the family, ticking if I find what I wanna pack. :-D
Starting a matcha brand would be absolutely lit!! I always tell my friends how much of a matcha fan I am and they all told me to start my own matcha business one day haha. It is fantastic to see I am not the only one obsessed with matcha. But to be fairly honest, it was you who determined and inspired me to try matcha and now I love it so much! So thank you Sanne for that :) and please do start a matcha business in the future. If it is based in Amsterdam, would be your first and every day client haha. Kisses xxxx

It's great recipe. Should be so delicious. Only I believe it would be nicer to serve in white plate. For the colour becouse the crust is already dark.

I Can totally understand how difficult decision it was for you to go back home in Europe, I also flew from London to Greece in banning of July and many people judge me for that and didn't understand it but after spending months in Lockdown without seeing your family, you really need to do it. Good choice ❤️

Are there any places that are really nice to travel to? I've never traveled outside of the USA but I do have a passport. I would love to know what places you think are nice. I actually really love packing, but it is hard to know how much to pack. Too much is better than not enough. I have a trick to help with preventing wrinkles a bit. You roll your clothes instead of folding, rolling them lengthwise. Also, which sunblock do you use with the oil? You're completion is so nice and clear! Thank you, have a nice day 😊.

Sanne have a safe journey to Hollland. It feels so sad when you said leaving USA, you have invested so much there, bought house, car, redecorating the house etc. I dont know but it sounded as if you will not come back for many months or year. Whereever you are spread happiness and positivity. In Pakistan our lives are almost to normal routine surprisingly we have combated Covid but back of our mind we have fear of 2nd wave. I also wanted to travel to europe esp Holland lets see maybe will be able to meet you one day.
Thankyou so much! Life definitely feels different here in Europe but I am not saying goodbye forever to USA. Hope to come back before the end of the year:)

It always happen that when I go in a place I get really anxious in the first place, but then I get really sad when I come back from that place because I'm like a lizard that after a long time it adaptes it self to the environment
