your talent is beyond amazing. I rather wear upcycled outfits than to spend money on these designers with the same looks. I am a thrift shopper but to know that I can reimagine that thrifted gem is beyond my mind. Im so loving this.
Love this one! I love your videos but don’t often see ideas that I would want to copy but I really like this dress shirt version. Excellent! Thank you 🙏
Love your videos, Angelina-- always super clever ideas. But what I appreciate the most is your personality & sense of humor!! Thanks for the smiles & laughter, ma'am!!
WoW 😲 my Queen 👸 you definitely rocked both the shirts. I like the shorts you wearing 😍 were those jeans at one time 😉🙂 I really liked them. Both items looked good together. I recently subscribed to your channel and already learning a lot from you. I really enjoy watching your videos. Definitely love your beautiful and outgoing vibes. You make it interesting to learn and want to try something different. God bless you sister 🙏🙏🙏
I love them both but the yellow is my favourite. Also the buttons woul work well for me too. You definitely showed how to dress them up and I ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ them.
Watching DIY vids make me feel creative. I love your approach, your attitude and that you also help those who can not sew. I made the DIY T-shirt Crossover top and with an adaptation and even a few mistakes, it came out great! Thanks❣️
These are cute. I'd definitely try the second one with the string added in front. One of these days I'll fix my sewing machine and try some of your other projects!
Very cool like your styling! I see so many button downs where I like the print but cut may not be to my liking. I could definitely do this to make them my own. Thanks for this!
Hey Angelina. I LOVE your channel. I don’t sew clothes, only things like hems, etc, but I am inspired to learn because I love opshopping (thrifting is called this here in New Zealand). I also have a wardrobe full of clothes I just don’t wear so I am going to do some of the projects I have seen on your channel to give them a new look. What a way to learn to sew! My grandma would be so thrilled I finally decided to get behind a sewing machine at the young age of 53 😂. She was an amazing seamstress. Thanks for your channel, also following your Facebook channel. have a great day.
That's so nice. I love this channel teaches me alot of stuff. Stuff I didn't learn in Fashion School. I'm about to throw a B-day Fashion show this definitely the channel I needed. Thanks so much 🙂🙂
Hey, Angelina, these are great! I have two shirts I haven't worn in a few years because they are stained. But, it would be cut off! This would be perfect! Second, just in general, over the last few years I have been subscribed to your channel, you have inspired me and cha ged the way I look at the projects I do. Not just clothes, I'm using jeans to upholster a tire chair, but my crafting in general. I'm making an Uncle Sam's hat for the 4th. It's covered in jeans. The band is the waist band. And parts of the decorations on it are recycled. Thank you for your inspiration!
@@BlueprintDIY oh, I forgot the third thing. While I was watching your video, I was Frankensteining two bed pillows together to restuff an old pillow. I wasn't going to pay over $20 for a while 28" pillow form! I still can't use my mom's sewing machine since she passed away a year a half ago. I am still hand sewing all I do. I honor her, I feel, when I use it. But it's still so hard.
Ooohhh these are both too cute! 🥺I really liked that asymmetrical button detail before it was flipped under... I wonder if I could leave it on the outside🤔.. This is the summer of tshirt & button down upcycles!!🙌🏽💜🙌🏽
Good morning. I am a new subscriber and I'm loving your channel. I lost my full time wfh job in November 2021. Gained weight and have limited budget and a limited wardrobe. Your channel has spurned some great ideas. Thank you!
U R one of the most talented by far, my upcycle inspiration is coming from the BEST I've seen keep doing what I do I love it hope to get better. Thank U for doing what I do.😌
You just never fail to amaze me with what projects you are able to execute to inspire us. I was wondering about the undergarment that could be worn for those that have larger chest, an adjustable strap halter bra might give some support to if the strap is long enough and would have to make the back higher on the shirt. Both of them came out so well and looks so cool and refreshing. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Hey, if you don't want to sew the elastic in, you can sew a string in (which has way less width and is easier not to catch in the stitch) and then you can sew the end of the string to your elastic and pull it through that way.
I love this! I am plus size with large girls, 53 and I would rock that yellow shirt with a very nice racer back lifting bralette. I would of corse make sure the slit did not come open to waist line.
Sooooo cute! I wish I could wear this style! I have a short neck and it looks like I'm being choked. 😁 I need to figure out how to attach the straps to the back so the stress isn't on the back of my neck. Luv your videos!!
I absolutely love these tops❤️. I love to upcycle men over size button down shirts... because of my height 4' 9"...their the right length for me. Perfect as a dress or duster. Love the white pants... Is there a tutorial on them. I did a duster with a Denim jacket and 3 denims skirts. I would so love to see your version of that upcycle. I'm know it will be amazing ❤️
For the big busted girls (like me!) definitely use much larger top so you have room for the girls! Love the middle tie idea for no sew. I would probably tie it backwards inside the shirt so it's almost invisible!
Ok, for a second I thought oh no, for thin people. Lol! Can you tell which team I’m on. Lol, However, this is perfect to make it long for a swim suit cover. I’m going on a cruise. 🙌🏼 Also, I would make it higher and/or have a back waist gather, to avoid the bubble for those of us who do not want more bubbles. Lol! Luv the idea! 👌🏽 And if really interested and big cheated, maybe use a very thin see thru mesh top underneath, or a thin short tee. I feel I would give it a try. Plus size here, if you haven’t figured it out, by my subtle comments. Love my curves, but wish they were less of them to love. 🤗😉😄
That’s the reason I wanted to do this one because I see more curvy women wear style like this and it looks really good on them. I’m so glad you found some ways to make it work for you. Have a wonderful time on your cruise!
Hey Angelina, i just had an idea! how about putting a "fake camisole" (a piece of fabric) underneath the front opening of the garment so it can look like you are wearing a 2 piece cross front top (the button top will show the camisole. you can do this by sewing little hooks on the inside of the top so the fabric can be attached to the garment. you can mix and match different colors to this)
check out the part of your clip where you say "wigglewigglewiggle" and you can see what i am talking about. you had the top open and the front of your cami was showing. i think it would look cute!
❤❤ Good morning first I want to say, I'm so proud of how far you've come. I've been following you a few year's. But quick? I am kinda wide across my back. So how do I cut the shirt. So it's not that low in the back??
great video! i preferred the t-shirt top as well. and i loved how you addressed the back gaping problem. have you seen the skirts made of t-shirt yarn? the yarn is cut thin and from afar looks like fur! i just thought that it was a cool idea when i saw it and sorry can't remember where i saw it.
I enjoy watching your channel . I’m getting back into sewing it’s been so long since I’ve tried sewing anything. I would love to Sew myself a circle dress with pockets but, I’m scared to do pockets lol . can you Upcycle a circle dress with pockets at some point? Thanks
I love the Tshirt version!
your talent is beyond amazing. I rather wear upcycled outfits than to spend money on these designers with the same looks. I am a thrift shopper but to know that I can reimagine that thrifted gem is beyond my mind. Im so loving this.
Thank you 💕
♥️The fact that you can determine how the back of the top starts . Most back out tops, the back is to low for some of us this is a game changer !
It sure is. 👌🏽
You crack me up lol…lov the Blu styling 😉
🤣
I use soap too! Ever since I learned to sew. I think it woks better than anything else
Yes, it’s my favorite!
Girl!!! I’m 55 years old and I WISH I could sew!!!
Omg you did it again! You are so talented and generous!!
Thank you 💕
Because I'm a size 16, I'd use a big and tall shirt and Tshirt to get more length on the piece.
Love this one! I love your videos but don’t often see ideas that I would want to copy but I really like this dress shirt version. Excellent! Thank you 🙏
Thanks so much! 💕 Glad I found something that’s your style!

could darts be used in the back to make it more fitted flaring down to the butt?
Yes, you could do that in the waist area.
