I almost failed home economics 37 years ago because of the 9 weeks of sewing and the ridiculous shirt we had to make. 😖 Had you been my teacher, I might have the courage to use my machine for more than hems and assisting embroidery projects. Being able to tailor clothes is such a gift!

For anyone who has never done gathers before: I would recommend sewing two parallel stitches and pulling the top two threads!! It makes it easier to pull and especially helpful on heavier fabrics so your thread doesn’t snap! :))
