Wow!!! I’m a pre-washer. Love the tip!
I learned this from Eleanor Burns. Everythind old is new again.
So true!
Love this. Faster than my serger. Thanks for the tip!
You're welcome!
I like to surge the edges of fabric before sewing. No frays! 💙
Great idea!
I didn't know about the, clip of corners I will try iy.
Excellent!
I only prewash reds and flannels. But still useful for those times!
Yep! At least you know what is prone to bleed. Blue has also given me trouble when mixed with lots of white in a quilt.
Can someone explain to me HOW this works?
The corners being cut frays that fabric first which then limits the fray on the long edges. It’s not perfect, but a significant improvement over not clipping
I always sew along the edges and minimal fraying! I know that takes time but I hate frayed fabric.
Отличная идея.
I overlock my fabric before washing
It a) looks frayed to me using both or nomethod.
Just something to try if you want to wash your fabric. No pressure if that’s not for you!
Simple trick, had not thought about that - thanks!
Happy to help!
Very interesting. I'll try this. TFS!
I was really surprised how much it helped!
Thank you for info. I was all my fabric also.
Glad it was helpful!
Where are you located and do you quilt for other people and how do you charge
Their shop is linked on their profile page. Looks like they sell machines and patterns though, not quilts
Jason has it right - I teach quilting and am a machine dealer and you can learn a lot more at LeahDay.com/
Thank you for sharing!
