These designs are so unique, yet look simple enough for me to try them. And thank you for not doing a long intro of meaningless babble. Just straight to what I'm interested in. Yes!

These beautiful designs are way beyond my beginner's ability. My hope was for simpler (but not straight walking foot) designs and layouts for freestyle quilting.
Beverly, thank you. Free motion quilting does take time to learn. I have been practicing for years. I like to take ONE design and practice it over and over on paper, then a small quilt sandwich before I go to a quilt. Over and over means several months or a year. Free motion quilting is like learning the Alphabet. Since I have learned the Alphabet already, many of my designs come from letters. The designs in this video are based on a cursive "L" or "e". Watch the videos at this link courses.livingwaterquilter.com/courses/alphabet-design to see my system for improving my free motion quilting. I want to help.
Just found You! Love your designs... Thank you for sharing!
Hi, Lanelle, :) Glad you like them! Join us here on the channel LIVE on the 1st and 3rd Friday at 7pm (EST) We have so much fun chatting about quilting and playing games.
Beautiful designs and you make it look so easy. I'm still a beginner FMQ. How do you maintain the same stitch length and get your quilt to slide easily? Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. :) Maintaining stitch length happens over time. Practice a simple meander as often as you can to help develop a consistent rhythm. It will help. There is a list of my favorite free motion quilting tools in a curated list. Find them here, amzn.to/3l6JzT6 It's a combination of an extension table and a Glider or a Slider. Plus gloves help me grip the fabric with my finger tips. I am a beginner also and you know how the saying goes: Practice makes perfect 😀
Is this just a normal sewing machine?I must give this a try
Hi Linda, Yes, It is a Janome 7700 domestic sewing machine. It's part of the Memory Craft line. They have "newer" models now. Mine is over 10 years old. I LOVE it. Getting this machine was an investment I am so glad I made. It made a BIG difference in my free motion quilting because the machine was made with free motion quilting in mind. It includes free motion quilting feet as part of the machine accessories.
What stitch Setting do you use?
The machine is setup for free motion. The feed dogs are lowered and stitch length is zero. Since I move the fabric, the combination of my hand speed and the machine speed to create the stitch length.
@@LivingWaterQuilter you must be a Christian.
Yes. I am. :)
What is the name of this sewing machine for quilting?
What is the model number?
What is the dollar reward?
Where can it be found?
I just want to sew this
It's a Janome 7700. It's over 10 years old
I myself design the traditional Nakshikantha of Bangladesh, our Nakshikantha here is all hand stitched and very beautiful stitched.
Since I design myself, I have no need for sewing machine designs. I would draw the leafy flower design on the fabric myself with a pen and sew it on the sewing machine using only free thread. So please tell me which machine will be good for me in low budget.
Your sewing machine stitches are very nice. Thank you
Pretty designs but they are not beginner styles. They are too sophisticated.
Thank you
