- It's time to head BACK to Nicaragua and Honduras with Nestor Plasencia to look deep inside the world of the Leaf! In this video we'll look at growing, curing, sorting, fermenting, and aging at it's finest. The Plasencia family goes to painstaking lengths each year to produce some of the best leaf in the world, and there's nobody better than Nestor to show us the whole process. Join me as we visit the fields, barns, and factories where they turn seeds into flawless wrapper, binder, and filler for your favorite cigars!

What a great video! A lot of love goes into making cigars, that is for sure.
I binge watched this series just a month ago and I'm enjoying it just as much again!
Plasencia are hard to beat💚✌️💨
Plasencia is the 🐐! I wish you'd asked him to cut their prices in half. I cant afford to buy an Alma Fuerte.
Keep your head on a swivel for deals. I bought a box and got 10 more free last year. It’s my special occasion smoke
You should try being a Plasencia fanatic in the UK!💷🔥
How do they determine if I bale must be used before it goes bad? Since they have so much of it.
The Hondurans are actually top notch quality
Awesome vid. I really liked the original series Tim made which was 4 or 5 part series and watched it numerous times until it was deleted and was very bummed. Tim I'm glad you're remaking the series brother. Really cool to see it start to finish and Nester is awesome how he built daycare and churches down there for his people.
Amazing! Love videos like this
Just fantastic. Thanks for sharing this series. Loving it.
Great series! I'd like to see a bit more about the Pilones. Like how they cycle the tobacco
Such an amazing video! I am currently enjoying one of their cigars right now. It makes me appreciate that much more what I an amazing smoke. Thank you.
Loved this video. Havent smoked a Plasencia in a few months. Buying me a green label today!!
I just want to say Thank You so much for all your content and how YOU deliver it! You have expanded my world of premium cigars and my knowledge and quite frankly given me a passion for the entire process and one day I hope to visit Nicaragua(atleast) for a cigar field trip. Again, Thank You Tim.
I will probably never smoke the top Placensia cigars .im down in Cape town.South Africa.what a bummer but you guys enjoy
These are special occasion cigars
Great content 👌
This is why I only buy from vertically integrated companies as opposed to private brands, you get more bang for your buck since you don’t have to pay overhead from the boutique company that has them make their cigars.
Thanks Tim for taking us along with your tour of plasencia farm, much respect for all the Hard work those hard working people do to put out awesome cigars, which the Alma fuerete salamon is my favorite and plasencia is one of my top 5 cigar companies especially how Nestor plasencia takes pride in what he Does . Can't wait for the next video 👍👍
Awesome stuff. Thanks
What an education.. thanks for the video
Amazing video!
Solid video! Do they grow the same tobaccos every year and then try to make new blends. Just curious if an experimental bale again turns out not to work and gets sold to cheap mass market cigars. So as not to waste it. If any of this makes sense.
Tim, the smile on your face in this video reminds me of a child touring santas workshop at the north pole, especially when you were in the secret stash room. Love it man 👍
I had a guy at work who was sort of into cigars tried explaining to him how the difference in soil can change the flavor and he looked at me like i was crazy, so i gave him a Macanudo Vintage Maduro after he had a different one and he looked at me and his eyes opened wide and he was blown away, tried to warn him to slow down, he didn't got nicotine sickness
Wish they had a budget stick
Gave some to my friend and was trying to explain the difference between these and other cigars. Didn’t seem to care 😢
To people like us a good beautiful Cigar is something to love to a none cigar person it's just tobacco
Tim, ask Nestor how old he was when he had his first cigar.
✍I wonder what the tobacco would taste like without it having had 300 hands on it (sweat) adding salt to the leaf😱! I'd like to know if anyone can answer this question🤔
Can’t believe you’re in plasencia’s private stash just smoking backwoods
alma fuerte literally taste like dirt to me
