What an incredible fascinating video! Thank you very much! I don’t really smoke a lot of Placencia, but this video definitely makes me go out and try another one. Great job!❤
Very interesting video. At one time the guy says it take 537 steps from plant to box all by hand no machines. Closer to the end he says 557 steps. I don’t think they know how many steps it takes, made up numbers. But very good video on how the product is made. Nicely done
I got into cigars during covid. Started off with the flavored garbage. Now I have a list of absolutely incredible cigars I love. They are the best investment I've ever made into myself. Its my yoga, a part of my weekly routine. A ritual of mine. I will smoke cigars until my last dying breath.
This film turned out incredible, well done Long Beach Film Company! Plasencia is fortunate to have such a gifted film maker telling their incredible story. Looking foreword to seeing what you do next.
Thank you so much! There’s always that moment before you release something into the world where you’re not sure how it’ll play - so we really appreciate it!
There is a quality of life out there that so few will ever experience. Thanks to videos such as these, however, we can get but a glimpse into this other world.
I smoked my first Plasencia 3 days ago, and I can tell you that I´ve gone through a lot of cigars, but this one had such a great taste to it, Plasencia Reserva Original!!!!
Excellent video and review, truly appreciate you sharing! As a Plasencia consumer, to see this process and the labor of love from their employees was amazing!
I am fortunate enough to have purchased 2 boxes of Reserva Original Robusto they are lovely due to being in UK we are so heavily taxed it makes this level of cigar something you cannot have as a daily. I really recommend them and Well done RUTH at Plascencia😊 your QA control is excellent every single cigar has been delicious and well constructed.
I think this is the first documentary I have ever seen where the guy doing the tour also interacts with the cameraman. That man is clearly the real deal.
Awesome video ! No wonder why Placencia cigars are so good , the Alma Fuerte is without question one of the best cigars I've ever smoked. You can see the pride everyone has in their work at every stage.
You guys killed this! Excellent video in a shorter format that gets to the important stuff of the world of cigars with legends in the industry. I would love to also see a more extended version.
I'm very impressed. Thanks for bringing us a tour of the cigar factory. I am going to buy their premium brand and give it a shot. I'm sure it will be an excellent smoke.
This is the best video I've seen for a while about the process of how a cigar is made. I hope I can get one box of each type of this family brand cigar. Thank you for this video, and I hope to see more. A box of each cigar on my birthday, please chuckling. 18th April
That was an awesome documentary, you very well captured all the nice details during the process and showing the hard working individuals whom make it happen
My Father won a trip to Cuba, took Mom, brought back a full box of 50 ring, Claro wrapper cigars which I let myself sample and were the best tasting cigars that I have ever had. I have avoided ALL Tobacco for over 20 years but I still recall the Cohibas and Macanudos'.
The whole culture is so multi faceted,I started enjoying the occasional cigar quite young it was the cutting and lighting that fascinated me the search for different flavours and aromas has been a 45 year plus quest it's been wonderful so .I've smoked a number of Plasensias , I've got a Reserva original yet to be smoked, and I'm hoping to get an Alma del Campo when the New years stock arrives.
Hi guys. My name is Richard. I live in Germany. I never smoked. interestingly, cigars became one of my favorite hobbies. I only try to buy good quality cigars. roughly between €15-70 / piece. after seeing this video, i tried the plasencia alma fuerte cigar. It costs €24 a piece. highly competitive with Cohiba or cigars costing 3-4x as much. great respect for the people who work there. to the management. and to you who made the video. TOP QUALITY !
We have so much footage that didn’t make it into the film, we’ve been thinking about releasing longer “uncut” scenes of the different parts of the process. Let us know if ya think there’s a demand for that.
