Yoga With Adriene thank you so much for being there. I started this journey 5 years ago, when I was a PhD student in Madrid. Back to Italy, feeling weak and vulnerable due to an unknown situation and emotions I decided to start that journey back again. And here I am, grateful for having subscribed to this channel years ago when I didn't even know what yoga meant, when it was just a practice I found useful to take a break from my research. Now, I have the feeling it was a precise path somebody or something up there or down here wanted me to discover. Namaste.
I've been using Adriene's yoga to supplement my gym/running sessions for nearly two years. I always felt more energised and uplifted after completing one of these yoga sessions compare to a cardio or weight sessions. I recently became ill with Covid19, I was physically and mentally in a painful place, I couldn't even stand let alone exercise. One morning in my self isolation I pushed myself to onto my mat and I managed to complete one of the floor yoga sessions, the difference it made to my ongoing recovery is something I could never describe. Thankful to you Adriene, sending positive energy to all your follower :)

This quarantine is indeed a phase of learning for all of us, even if we don’t evidently sit and learn something. We know things are changing and that indirectly affects the way we think and feel about the world and ourselves. This practise serves as a self reflection tool to these changes. It reminds us to take care of our body and brain which I believe will help us learn in taking care of our earth when we step out.
I couldn't have said it any better ! I think it is up to us. How we spend this time, what we will be focusing on and if we let it get to us or make use of it in a beneficial way .

Before the meditation I'd thought I wouldn't be able to sit still for about 12 minutes, but the calm voice of Adriene instructed me to focus on my breath to stay present and I didn't really want to come out of the meditation, no fidgetting or sense of uneasiness occured! I'm just calm and relaxed specially after the challanging yoga I'd done before! ❤

I'm having side effects from my second covid vaccine and wasn't able to complete the yoga practice on today's schedule. I wanted to go ahead and try to do this meditation, though, so I took some modifications (I basically just sat up against something so my back was supported). I figured I can still give my mind a break and take a moment to reflect on my gratitude that I was able to get the vaccine in the first place. Thank you, Adriene, for teaching us to listen to our bodies and to be grateful for where we are each day!

Done on day 17 Nov 22 - meditate month. I find it really hard to stay in the position and not fidget but was joined on my pillow by my dog, who gently rested his chin on my arm as if to say ‘you can do this’! Thanks Adriene 😊

Wow, never have I ever felt so much pain and tightness during a meditation. It's a clear sign that I've neglected my practice. Visualizing that tiny ball of light really help me reconnect with my body. Thank you!

Done on day 17 Nov 22 - meditate month. I find it really hard to stay in the position and not fidget but was joined on my pillow by my dog, who gently rested his chin on my arm as if to say ‘you can do this’! Thanks Adriene 😊

I've been practicing yoga for years - but always in a studio (which I truly miss these days). But I found Yoga with Adriene - and I have to say I absolutely love her. I'm learning to deal with my anxiety with so much time available to really sink in my thoughts. Yoga has been life changing, thank you! And to everyone else out there dealing with your demons, know that you are not alone. Some days are awful but then you wake up the next day and it's a little bit better.
