Thanks for the comment! The talking is probably too low, because I'm a new to the whole talking on camera thing. I will try and speak louder (and also in full sentences) In the future! Hope you enjoyed the video despite this :)
I noticed the audio too, had to crank the volume to hear the talking points, then the music would come blasting in. Despite the audio, everything else was super interesting. It’s super hard to make videos, I know because I’ve only made horrible videos, and you guys did a great job. It’s also hard to talk naturally to the camera and you guys do such a great job. Very interesting content, it helped nudge me towards the F100.
Dude I try to turn it up to hear what you're saying, then that damn siren shouts. Wish I coulda watched it. Edit: I read some other comments. Keep it coming with improvements!
Good video. I am also considering getting the F6 but I am still doing my research. The Nikon 105mm f2 DC lens that you used produces very nice bokeh. I also have one. The defocus control allows you to manipulate how the bokeh looks although the changes are subtle. The bokeh is still good even if you do not use the defocus control. I wish you tried using it to take portrait photos on those film cameras.
I don't know if one of the early photos was a security guard or a police officer, but taking photos of police or police/military stations is actually against the law. Will you get in trouble? I'm sure it depends. Places like Tibet and Xinjiang enforce the law more regularly, but it is a law everywhere else too. Just a heads up.
Great video! Since we are throwing stones (hahaha), I would have liked to see more photos. It is crazy there are not more video out there for the f6 --I just got one, still messing with all of the functions. Maybe I will put together a vid on my findings. The f100 is a solid camera that is getting harder and harder to get your hands on. I got one for 100 a couple of years ago, and now I see them for 300. Crazy!
Thanks for the detailed reply! Would love to see a video if you put one together. I really enjoyed playing with both, it was the first time I'd used anything so automated, and it blew me away.
I moved to the F100 about ten years ago. I like it so much that I picked up a "like new" second body to store away for the rainy day that the electronics fail in my first body. I got iy for $125, which felt like stealing, I've used Nikon 35mm SLRs since 1962, but in modern times when I can afford whatever I want, I've never had a desire for the F5 or F6, mainly for their off-putting weight and size.
Great video !!!! I have F4 and F5. Used to live in Chongqing. But back to my country - France in 2017. Is it possible in the future to make portrait shooting on film (Fuji Pro 400h because asian skin) with a beautiful chinese girl please ? With your f100 or F4 or so. Thank you !
this music does not match this video at all, its way to loud and who ever edited the video did not now how to gradually lower the sound of Audio instead it goes form 100% to 0% and back to 100%
Well, if you don't try things you don't learn. No one's an expert here. Many people commented on the music, so it is something to work on in the future. I hope you enjoyed it despite that.
You know, you could just look at the other comments, and then other some constructive criticism... Yes, the music was not mixed particularly well, there are many other faults too. There is always things to work on when we make these videos, it's not like we are professionals.
you guys REALLY need to work on your sound editing (oh shit, this vid is 4 years old). well, anyway, when you're talking I turn it up to the proper volume to hear you... and then in between shots you're blasting techno music so I have to turn it down, then you start talking so I turn it up, etc etc etc.
The music is killing me. Every time rhe music starts i have to kill my volume
Oh crap lol so many ppl complained about the audio lmao
Yeah. No need fer it, guys
Agreed, it sucks
music too loud and audio when talking too low
Thanks for the comment! The talking is probably too low, because I'm a new to the whole talking on camera thing. I will try and speak louder (and also in full sentences) In the future!

Great info and content.... good luck can’t wait to see more!
Sean Shannon thanks, aiming for steady improvement each time. Appreciate the feedback.

@@ChinaCameraStyle 1:29 in and I had to give it up. You don't have to speak louder, you need to learn how to mix audio.
..Joe
For the love of God, ditch the music! 🤣
Which God? Heavily noted haha
@@ChinaCameraStyle Loki. The God of Mischief.
Do you hate us? Why did you choose this music?
Great video but the music is a bit screechy!?

very well made guys, but the music makes me jump every time ...

Thanks, appreciate the feedback! Taking a short trip home, but have a lot to come when I get back.
I’m surprised that you never mentioned the focal length used with cameras. I checked the transcript and it was never mentioned.
Seemed fun to compare those cameras but the music makes the video unwatchable...
We all live and learn. I wonder if auto-subtitle would be accurate? Then you can just turn the music off ;)
Cut the music volume by at least half. Dialogue should meter 30-40% louder than the talking heads.
Sorry, but apart from the noise (err, sound/music), it is hard to tell what camera is used with what lens and/or film.

Like the video but the difference in audio level between speaking and music 🤦♂️
Nice but very annoying music :(
Duly noted my friend. Glad you enjoyed it (on mute :P)
The 105 dc is the best 100/105mm lens ever made.
Nice video, but the music cutting in and out everytime you talk was annoying. Either leave it on or off. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the feedback! So, leave the music on but, turn it down and increase the volume of dialogue when speaking?

F100 better?
perfect opportunity, poor execution. If you could re-do this, actually talking about experience. No music. Thanks)

Music is far to loud against yr talk. But the infos on the video are good. Pls turn down the sound!!!!
the music is too loud. I have to constantly turn it down and back up when you start talking
otherwise good vid
what are the chances I'm interested in this topic and the only video covering it was made a week ago
Oscar R glad to help you out!
the most annoying fake bagpipe distracting music I have ever heard....could not get past the first 45 seconds....

Bit of girth. Very satisfying haha.
the sound goes from 0-60 tooooo much music db dude
Interesting video, subscribed, but maybe reconsider about the BGM?

Loose the music. Cant watch
??? Very silly video, wasting people's time and life.
Music is terribly!
nice topic - but totally devalued due to the worst sound ever
Yeah, this channel is a WIP, but people made it clear the tunes have got to be sorted. Hopefully you enjoyed the content regardless
Music sucks
This would be the general consensus. Thanks for further confirmation of that though. Hope you like the video (whilst muted :P)
