I've got a bit of a problem, i hope you may be able to help. I got a 2003 GD3 Fit, with the seven speed mode button. When i use the the button during the day it works great, Strangely using it at nights it causes the dash to start flashing away until i switch it off or use the gear level . I'm wondering if its a electrical ,load issue or what??? Can you or someone in the comments please help.
@@marqueemolina6929 Hey, generally the CVT is pretty reliable if properly maintained. CVT oil should be changed every 40 000km with Genuine Honda CVT oil.
I always notice this. Our CVTs seem to be weak when ac is on. specially when u want to boost or overtake. sometimes I just turn off the AC for a while then turn it on after overtaking. doing this because my imagination about the gears being overwork is too much. lol
You’re absolutely right. I also used to do the same thing when I had my CVT. It’s a good gearbox but it just doesn’t seem to put the power down all that well and that’s probably why it struggles so much.
@@serrdyedd8566 I used some random CVTF that I got at my local parts store and everything seemed okay even though everyone recommends using original Honda CVT Fluid.
Very cool this comparison!
Thanks Sidnei
thank you for sharing!

I wish I could find this gearbox(7speed) to switch instead of my CVT . I have 2007, ex 1.5 cvt honda fit :p
How do you turn off 7speed mode on honda fit 2005?
Hey. Mine had a button to turn 7 speed mode on and off
Lol how
More like ..why 😅
What is the max top speed of jazz vtec cvt ? And the max top speed when use 7speed mode?
I honestly wouldn’t know between the two modes but I hit around 177km/h with CVT and 186km/h with Manual.
Where is the button for the 7 speed mode?
Mine was on my steering wheel to the right of the Airbag
hi bro can make more video of this car?
Hey man, I will eventually. I've just converted it from CVT to Manual.
Andrew Lai Wing wow rare! Cant wait for new video

@@Pynoxim1 anyway, bro, what was the fluid that you used for that honda jazz/fit? is it CVTF from honda? how was it?

@@Pynoxim1 u mean, even tho it was not honda CVTF, it worked so well? that's intriguing bro. was there any shredding sound or none?
@@serrdyedd8566 That’s correct. It wasn’t original Honda Fluid but it worked really well
