nice drone photography - love that follow-me mode, and the falls are spectacular!

Alastair Mathews thanks Ali!

OMG!!! SIMPLY BRILLIANT ALL ROUND MATE.
Cinematic Drone shots are next level! Keep the vids coming. Yewwww!!

Captivating video. It was almost like watching a movie of survival. Glad you made it back to base in one piece. You looked exhausted. Like you said the walk did not disappoint rewarded by a fantastic waterfall at the end of the rainbow. Well done.
Wow! Amazing and beautiful Tasmania 😍
Spectacular and very beautiful.
Enjoying your vidios as I can no longer go hiking.
All the best. Stay safe.
Thank you for your videos, we live in Melbourne, have visited Tasmania but we are getting too old to get rugged now, so we certainly enjoy your adventures from our couch. Keep th coming

Thanks!
So much "Has a crack!" vibe 🙏🙌 in this one...
If you're heart is ticking and your feet are a walking brother..
You're blessed ❤️
Tasmania ❤️
Love to see a walk through blue tier. I miss Tassie so much, the beauty so rich and abundant. Thanks for taking us on your adventures.
“Getting lost, walking back and forwards and then stumbling across the track”. That sums up my weekend recently, trekking through Lamington National Park on a remote/unmanaged track. Mossy rocks, fallen trees, roots and vines and trying to find those pink markers makes for a slow walk but it’s always SO WORTH IT! Thanks so much for this epic footage, makes me want to go back and explore Tassie. I only just discovered your channel and I’m looking forward to catching up on the rest of your adventures!
Fantastic Rob, the drone of the falls very spectacular, I recently did a walk to the upper tiers of Russell Falls at Mt Field, very few ever go there as no tracks and rugged, but absolutely magic. Have you done Growling Swallet in the Florentine? a cave system at the head of the Junee River, best in summer at low water so you can head down into the cave. Fascinating. Just a few thoughts, all the best.
That sounds amazing Tim ill have to check it out.
Lovely video with some of the best photos of waterfalls!
Incredible & worth the trip. Thank you :)
Legend, keep it up!
It’s been 20 years since I first explored Tassie and the memories are epic as if it were yesterday. Looking like you will have your own collection for a big full life. Fit as much as possible in before you have kids brother.
Amazing, this is on my bucket list
Spectacular walk Rob. I got lost last week, confused by hidden track branches made by wild pigs on steep slopes surrounded by cliffs on Mt Elliot in QLD just south of Brisbane. Was just before dark with an hour back down & one split that was hidden on the way up by brush, caused me to drop down 200m to be cut off by cliffs covered in 4 foot of grass as far as i could see. It was a moment of anxiety & a real tough climb back up to the cliffs to follow them East. It was the best 360* view of the region I've ever seen. you can see from Brisbane city to the border ranges & absolutely spectacular.
Beautiful place to see, thankyou
Thanks for the comment
Beautiful forest, Mate! 6:26
Great video footage, love the areas you explore and the drone footage of the waterfall is fantastic. Keep up the great work
Amazing footage of the waterfall . Maybe come back another time
Spectacular drone video, typical Tassie variations in vegetation, every time the elevation changes. Great.
Brilliant film mate. And a great effort- big couple of days!!
Glad you enjoyed it Pete thanks!
Beautiful. Never seen it from that angle before.
Spectacular!!!!!!
Amazing, Rob - the call of the Wild must be very strong in your neck of the woods - wonderful drone footage of the falls - thanks for taking us a long - you need to pack more choccies & crackers... 🦘🐾😎👍
That reveal.....WOW! Well worth the hike in. Thank you
Great adventures Rob,thank you for having fun recording these sweet spots
gutsy effort there Rob Parsons,,,, great video of the,, Majestic Reynolds falls
Mick Dodd thanks for stopping by!
yep...I know the feeling at 12:50 ….what goes down MUST come up again!!
Beautiful - well done...!
Been there done that about 15 years ago. Hard track. 49% steep up, 49% steep down, 2% flat!! Awesome video!!
Lyn R hahaha spot on! Thanks for watching 😊
Another ripper vid Rob. Epic falls, great sound track, great drome action, loved your story, thankyou.
Glad you survived! Pretty epic!
Fantabulous
Nice work mate. Super spot that. Pandani grove is a bit bitey and that first hill is a ripper. Worth it tho. Maybe check out the never never if you haven’t been before. Nowhere as hard as Reynolds and super pretty.
Spectacular🤩
Amazing waterfall!! Those cliffs!!!
Love this video! I don’t know if you’re meaning to be funny but you have me a good belly laugh several times, thank you! The drone footage of the falls was spectacular.
Wow, She's a Gusher. Nice drone work.
Awesome work in really difficult conditions
Fantastic drone footage
Impressive
Glad you enjoyed it cheers mate!
Awesome !
Peter Azzopardi cheers Pete! Need a Bintang soon 😊
Have been into Reynolds a few times over the years. IMHO the worst part of the track are the Speeler plains leeches. And yes the key to the walk is to camp closer to the falls makes for a better walk out. Thanks for sharing.
Shane Pinner haha yep I found some leeches too😂
I'm not a real music buff ...but the music you put on your videos is amazing
Beautiful shots man!
HBFilms thanks bro!
So majestic
She’s a beast!
well done champ. Unreal.
D & S Barone thanks for watching 😊
Bloody awesome, great video dude, fantastic drone footages. Makes me want to go now, pity I’ve got a screwed back so stuck on the couch. Soon and I will be out there, so many wicked spots in our great state
Another great vid.... Slowly working through your back catalog
Enjoy!
Hi Rob, great videos, who are the music artists in this video, couple walks you might be interested in montazuma falls which is on the abt railway, mount bishop at Waratah the is lot of old mine working, Dundas, interview river mine down sandy cape, one place of only been their when young was the power station at Waratah which the start of the Arthur River. The power station is the bottom of the water fall, I don’t know if it’s still there but we’ll worth a look. A lot of places you’ve to I did when I was much younger. Just further information a book called Vanished towns of Tasmania might be some inspiration. Great videos Ben Cains
“Starting to lay little nuggets in my pants”, you’re funny. Great footage of the falls. Love the pandanus from above. Thanks heaps.
Brave mate, of course!! Nice video . Wonderful waterfalls. Tassie is amazing!!👏👏👏
Thank you mate!
Beautiful falls!😁😁😁😁
Very beautiful, thanks Lorraine 😀
Having fun making videos and walking... perfect formula 👍
You should do a video on a gear list
great video :) I am disappointed though that I may never get to see these in person. My knees would not do well on that walk :(
Beautiful country mate. Well filmed given the circumstances. Just hope that wilderness doesn't get destroyed... especially now that Scumo has been voted in. Thanks for sharing 👍
Here’s hoping mate, glad you enjoyed it and cheers for the comment.
That was an epic waterfall. I think I’ll skip that walk when we come to Tassie to visit next year though, way too much effort to get there!
Footprints and Tyre Tracks don’t you dare! It’s so worth it!
Those falls are epic
Brilliant video mate, totally love your drone footage❤
This looks great, its a beast of a waterfall and trek!
Worst case scenario you could throw your bag across then cross or swim lol. I’ve been checking out your videos and I like them so I subbed 👍
Perfect timing to find your channel in current world madness. Loving the content and Production value of your vids 👍👍
Thanks you brother. Appreciate it.
Top footage. This should be paid for by the W-NW RTO, and get a shorter day hike in from Belvoir Rd (if possible). Epic attraction with the appropriate infrastructure.
Mate worth it for the shots ,proud of ya for soloing that trip its a doozy n u made it .my shout at the forth when we catch up mate bloody ripper cheers
Great video man should’ve took your gold pan to the waterfall L😂L
TAS D haha no doubt there’s some nuggets in there, but the over burden is real! Did you see the way the water sprays out to the sides when it hits 😂 golds coming!
sweet video!! I'm moving to Tassie 2020 and can't wait to get out to see some of the less visited spots :)
Carolyn Smith awesome! You’ll love it here
How have you found Tassie so far?
@@briangill4000 love it! Who wouldn’t :)
Carolyn.. You north or south?. Not that it matters. Nothing is more than a few hours away. I spent a lot of time in The Pilbara... So, an 8hr drive was nothing to find a good camp site. Here the options are endless.
Awesome footage
Came for the gold. Stayed for the adventure
That’s what I like to hear!
Love the drone footage!
Good on Rob..L love it
Champion effort that walk 👌
Thanks mate she’s a real epic weekend adventure
Quick call Levi and his kids they want to go with you to the falls do some snipping while your there.
YeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaa
Great job Rob, Loved the trip.
You’re such an inspiration mate! That drone footage was heavenly! Darwin Crater would be interesting.. dunno if you’re allowed drones there though.. an easy hike with guaranteed good content would be Mystery Creek Cave and the glow worms there. May even see lyre birds👍👍👍
Thanks mate! I was originally going to go for a snif inside the crater but as it is protected from prostpecting I figured I would have better luck sticking to the east facing slopes west of there. Definitely keen to check out mystery cave, since you have enlightened me I’ve been reading all around the deaths there in the 90s. Crazy! Keep safe mate cheers!
Great Video, Yucky expletives
Yeah sorry about that. I’ve made a conscious effort in recent times not to swear.
Do you still live in Turners beach? I used to live in Turners Beach @ 45 Turners beach rd. Used to surf down at the beach where the servo is, and fish for salmon in the Forth river just up from the mouth back in 1988-1990.
Awesome!! ☁️🍆
Great video mate loved it.
Thank you Peter
Epic Rob. Well done 👌
Greg Faull thanks for watching Greg ☺️
Okay, Rob. this comment comes nearly 3 years after you did the walk to Reynolds falls. At the end of the video Rob, you wanted to know where else you could walk to? One of the places I was thinking about is Little Fisher Valley, I have not been there myself for many years I was wondering if you'd like to give it a try?....Pete from Devonport ....🤠
Sounds good Pete ill look into it. is this the one where the parsons hut has been missing?
Nice video👍
Find a spot out of wind and a big fire... Dry out...
Great perseverance Rob. Glad your camera gear didn’t get smashed crossing that creek. I reckon I would have held my own head under the water if I lost my gear in it. Do you ever get worries PWS might come after you for flying your drone in a national park? I've got one, but I'm too chicken to use it 😂😂
Sam Kruijver thanks sam. Yeah I was pleasantly surprised the bag kept all the gear dry, it’s not a waterproof bag as such. With the drone as I said in the intro it’s outside of the National park. I wouldn’t and don’t fly inside National parks. Too many drone police!
Rob Parsons That there is. Another thing I was going to ask is how much do your shoulders hurt after carrying your bags on your front and back? Makes me want to cry just thinking about walking that far with a setup like that
That was cool you hiding
Ahah when was i hiding I dont remember😂
Wow unbelievable..you are a man the best water fall in Tasmania...how many hours. You did ...?
Aha I think it was about 7 hours each day!
great drone footage, but you seemed poorly prepared for a serious bushwalk
I won’t argue with you mate, just making the most of what I had! Thanks 😊
Going in tomorrow. How many hours walking did it take you? And is it worth taking drone or will i struggle to find satelites? Cheers
125kingo125 about 6 hours without breaks. More if you want to camp closer to the falls (suggested) sats are hard to get I had to launch in atti then gain altitude to find solid signal. Have fun!
@@Rob.Parsons day trip mate. Hmm might not bother with drone then ha ha cheers
Also want to pick your brains for what drone you used (I assume it was the front pack was the drone). I have sent you a fbook message
Mt Pearse and Rocky Sugarloaf
Thanks Mate ill keep them in mind!
That drone footage was awesome mate! (and I'm a bit over drone footage)
Which track did you take? Near Mt Cripps or Mt Beercroft?
Matt Hill thanks mate! I tried my best to do it justice even though the gps on the drone kept cutting out I nearly lost it a few times 😂😂 ah not too sure about the track i just followed the one on maps.me app that leaves from behind peppers lodge.
@@Rob.Parsons I can see on ListMap a few other options, maybe closer, probably overgrown, right up your alley!
Epic video brother!
That hike was full on! What drone do you use? I was thinking about getting one, also have you checked out Westmorland falls?
Hey man, I used to have a mavic pro 1, that’s what this video was shot on. I upgraded to mavic air 2, they’re super good and smaller than mavic, yeah I’ve been to Westmorland, it’s great. Short walk epic fall.
@@Rob.Parsons yeah sweet, they are sick quality drones! Nice! I was thinking of heading there next weekend maybe!
Do you know of any waterfalls that you can jump off or anywhere that is a decent jump into water?
Nah not really. Maybe Melrose quarry
@@Rob.Parsons hell yeah, cheers brother! I will have to check it out!
