Some miscellaneous points that didn't make it into the script: - The Bloody Berserker is an obvious reference to Guts from Berserk. There were some other cool references I noticed like the song that plays during boss intro cutscenes paying homage to the Demons' Souls Intro Cinematic theme. - The Wayward Knight was my favorite starting class, as I mentioned in the video, but the Devil Hunter was actually pretty good, too. - I wasn't fond of the first boss but the other 2 included in the demo were really really good. - I think the name "Dead Wells" is too similar to "Dead Cells" (a completely unrelated indie rouge-like). I think stuff like that could hurt the game's discoverability but that's just my opinion.
Thanks for playing the game and thank you for your feed back. While every classes starting weapon isn't as balanced as the sword and shield they all start with the unarmed weapon which allows every class to have a weapon that can build combo. The Idea for weapons is to have Damage Dealers, Stance Breakers, Combo Builders, Hybrids and All Rounders and to switch between the two that work best for you. Most of my bugs are stimmed from my menu system which will be getting reworked. Combat isn't final and will be having a lot of numbers tweaked and animation fixed.
Their skippable with F and E. There is supposed to be text at the top but the wrong demo build got uploaded but I couldn't change it due to be affected by the hurricanes down south in America.
The best argument for glitch horse is that triple A devs still can't make the horse work generations of consoles later( I know this is just a ps1 style) It definitely makes me giggle. Maybe there should be a really pointless microtransation for horse armor :P
Holy shit, the horse physics might have been taken from some other vehicle. It’s not actually that uncommon, because I recall Cyberpunk took the Car Physics from the Witcher 3 horse or something, but like…. You still gotta WORK on that shit bro 😂

Horses aren't needed to complete the game. Their just a goofy side project. I started learning code and a lot of other things with this project.
Those character portraits definitely look AI generated :/

Yeah I was suspecting that but wasn't sure. Its sad if it is AI, the game looks great and is only hurt by that in my opinion!
@@DarkflameRaime The Characters images are only place holder atm so I could test my conversation system. They will be replaced with art or removed.
