Great vid brother.
Maryland pipeliner. Thanks! My wife does the editing, I couldn’t do it without her. Glad you enjoyed it.👍
Would you happen to have measurements for the bed frame ?
Awesome. I would like one 10-12ft. ×8 for a 5500. We want to carry a Artic fox 990 camper. Motorcycles and tools ,gear.
Looking good
Rough one -Thank you! We’ll post the next one on Wed sometime!
Oh wow somebody decided to be different an bought a extended cab!!! Sick of seeing crew cabs!!!
awesome video man. thanks for all the info can't wait to get home and build me a bed yes yes
Nice
The video is even better 2nd & 3rd x around.
Subscribed. Good work bud. I built a bed for my 2016 gmc in my garage and it was a pain. I have taken a lot of notes from your videos and will build one for a ford next. Having the plasma and the circular saw is a must on my next bed. The ol metabo blades ain’t worth a shit after a while! I like how you built your frame all the way around for the deck and skirts to have some stability and something to weld to other than just them selves. Probably helps with warping too. How’d you bend your tubing? Thanks
J Hobbs thanks for watching! The plaz is not an absolute must but the circular saw is. Cutting out the boxes on the deck went quick and no clean up with a grinder. I’m not sure what tubes you are referring to being bent? All the square and rectangle for the frame was cut angles from the chop saw , beveled and welded together.
Busy Boyds ok now that I look closer I think it’s just the camera lense that makes it look that way. I was talking about the frame on the lead well side. It looked like from cab to wheel base you purposely had a gradual bow in the frame to flare it out to the dual tires. But I believe it’s just an allusion from the camera.
J Hobbs I see what you’re talking about. That’s the GoPro giving the fisheye illusion
J Hobbs they are straight
What size stock did you use for the bed frame?
rognavolter 2x4 and 2x2 x 3/16
Can't remember but what size lift did you go with
I went with a 4 inch lift
Does the front end get light when you have a camper hooked up with the hitch set behind the rear axle?
Jared Lessor no I’ve got airbags on it also. I just drove 2400 miles pulling my fifth wheel and had no problem.
@@busyboyds6684 awesome! I'm just finishing up installing a dually axle in my truck, plan on building a bed afterwards. I plan on doing mobile welding for local farmers and wasnt sure how a goose or 5er would pull with the hitch set behind the rear axle! Thanks for the info!!
What size of square tubing is that?
