The one thing we haven’t yet done on this quad is the wheels. So what colour would you prefer, Silver or Black? The highest number on this reply before Sunday will be winner 👍
I think black wheels will look really cool. Another idea: This will primarily for your girls to use, right? Let them spray over the black wheels with red, silver, and black high temp spray paint, then clear coat it. Trust me, they would love that! Many years ago I used to be a teenage girl (let's not say how long), but coming up with a design, learning how to tape it off for the different colors... I would have been all over that, lol.
Hi Adrian, I'm French, Lover old Honda's too! In 1994 I salvaged and rebuilt 1986 ATC 250ES Big Red frame and fork broken by previous owner. I kept it, it's a precious little mule to ride the field and forest work ! 3 months ago, I started rebuilding step by step, 1997 Honda 300 Fourtrax 2WD, rear frame broken and twisted / rear thumb brakes broken / rear axle/ rear diff crashed/broken, all parts destroyed...Owner-Farmer back into the barn with his Mega Tractor and smash that poor Honda! Everyone tell me: You are totally nuts wanting to rebuild this wreck! Collect the best parts and throw everything else in the dump... You know what ? I will rebuild it and resurrect it! Just for the fun of doing it and shutting them up !!! Icône de validation par la communauté
Amazing job you’ve done with that Adrian. Your girls are going to be sooo excited once they can go out and use it. So worthwhile all the hours you’ve put into it. 👏👏👏
Hi Adrian. Great job on the quad. In relation to the rear plastics I find waving a heat gun brings them back to colour. Great video as usual. Keep up the good work.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw the seat, it should be black. I’ve not seen them in grey, but that doesn’t mean anything, lol. Red just doesn’t look right. It looks great. Still waiting on the progress of the cabin. 😃
This was well worth the wait,It’s really turning out very original and new looking Adrian,a true credit to your pursuit of tidy equipment.👌🏻👌🏻 You may go the full hog and get the original seat now to set it off!
Great video Adrian.it was worth waiting for.it will be a lovely job when ur finished with it.ur gifted with ur hands hod bless u.take care and looking forward to the next video.well done 👍👍👏👏
Leave wheels sliver the look better or get a set of 16" alloys for it 😅😅 and for sure change the seat cover .. ah great job done on it.. its a credit to ya and a great video 👍👍
Blueline decals in America might have decal kits for this model bike just to finish it off. CMSNL also offers lots of parts for this model and easy to deal with. I'm going through a similar process to you on a 1989 Honda 350D :)
Honda's are an awesome machine the big red three wheeler was the original Big Red. You don't find them like that anymore at least in the USA if you do they're very expensive. That's why I like watching your channel as you work on all types of things thank you for sharing all of it with me take care and God bless
I remember a friend on mine had the trike, they were a cool looking machine but shocking dangerous in the wrong hands, would roll over very easily. Clean ones of those fetch big money nowadays I think
Hi Adrian quad looking well! You can do a bit of quad refurbishment in yer spare time 😁 maybe you know or not but you can refresh your plastic with a blow torch by carefully moving it along the plastic about 5 or inches away you'll be surprised! It also will work on tractor panels and mud guards. Good luck
Well done Adrian it looks great, if your covering the seat I would get that pink for the girls and leave the wheels silver or may be gold, Honda moto colours, either way I am sure the girls will be over the moon with it, good luck Adrian looking forward to Sundays edition
Hey Adrian I had a golf cart once and didn't like the seat color. Here in the States I found vinyl dye which looked to me like spray paint and applied just like spray paint but was actully a dye. I think one can cost something like $15 US, just a thought if your seat is in good condition just the wrong color. Another great video production, thanks for taking the time.
Great videos on the if red. Just watch the whole series having recently purchase one as a project. Do you happen to have a link to the kickstarter start cover from eBay as I am also looking for one?
Yes Sandy it needs new tyres, them back tyres are hard got at the min, an awkward size. The old ones are all cracked with dry rot so new tyres are a most for safety.
Well Adrian, thanks for sending me the video, great quad, honda, lot of work put into her l would say , keep me up dated, kieran from Laghey donegal town
Google search kick start covers on eBay and they should pop up Alan. I got it of a single seller that didn’t have an eBay shop. Second hand ones are there too but crazy expensive
Nice job 👏 👍🏻. That's a lot of fiddly work... some nice led corner marker lights might be quite nice 👌 so it's seen as well as heard 😉 but nowt to bling. They were dam nice bikes when new and looks like your going to have closest to new you could probably find. Stay safe sir 🏴
great job ,my 1994 fourtrak is looking a bit tired ,clock been burst at 60,000 miles for a least 10 years but still goes although when someone else rolled it 6 times recently when gathering sheep and buckled 3 wheels and burst the handle bars it did not help but up and running again

Outstanding job Adrian,it's a credit to your two hands 👍

Ya a few people said that, I’ve tried it before but probably held it too tight to the plastic, ended up scorching the plastic. Heat gun or blow torch?
