I have the same cargo carrier and i built mine back when i was 17 and ran that for over 2 years before getting a 4 wheeler and upgrading. My cargo carrier has a bunch of upgrades including i put marker lights, brake and turn signals, strobes and extra tie downs. all i can say is be super careful when u walk up and down that ramp cause i have eaten pavement many times from it.
Great job on the cargo carrier for the snow blower. Customers canceling at the last minute can be irritating. Can you use your snow removal payment policy for leaf cleanups as well? Btw.. Nice cap!
@@cleancutslawncare From my understanding, you charge your customers for snow removal service regardless if it snows or not. Could you do that for leaf cleanups as well? They still have to pay you even if they do it themselves.
@@BillyGoatLawnServiceyea I’m still working on something like that. I just can’t get the numbers right. Either the monthly payments for my plan are too low, too high, or can’t be the same all year (which would include clean ups) but yes, I am working on something like that. You know what’s crazy, I did snow removal today, seen the guys house that canceled, he lied. He didn’t even do it. Just canceled to save the $. So if I actually kept him on mowing route (which I’m not) there would be a huge mess to deal with in spring. Because leaves don’t decompose that fast.
@@cleancutslawncare we will definitely need to setup some business talk sessions after the holidays. Each winter I try to make improvements to our policies before we start mowing again in April. Your customer base is much like ours and I always like your insight on how you run your business.
@BillyGoatLawnService absolutely. I agree. You know what I was just thinking yesterday while at work? How much $ it costed me in my 1st 2-3 years by “not” having policy in place. But…. I guess that how you learn.
Since you are having problems with Leaf Cleanups or Snow Removal cancellations.... maybe have them prepay or don't sign them up. I do Annual Agreements. I have all services including Leaf cleanups calculated into the Mowing Agreement. Monthly Payments are prepaid on the first of each month. No pay No mow... simple as that. Stay safe and God Bless from Texas.

That sounds cool. I’d like to do something similar. I don’t walk up the board on the ramp. I’m 100% sure I’d end up on my face in the street lol

I’m actually currently working on that exact thing. I just can’t get the numbers exact yet.
Do you do 12 payments then? All year?
