    Poor suspension and unstable by today's standards, but something about these 3 wheelers ... so much fun on a trail, deep in the woods packed down with gear.

    • @DariusBuildz
      @DariusBuildz Рік тому

      They arn't "unstable". People have to know how to ride them. Not knowing something or being unaware doesn't make it bad.

      @@DariusBuildz You are correct. Let me rephrase that ... poor suspension and handling characteristics by today's standards, I owned one back in '87. It's a shame they were banned because people get stupid and don't take the time to learn how to ride properly. The "big" ones (Big Red) in those days were only 250's and was plenty. How times have changed.

    Recently bought a 1983 ATC185 and love it. Some work, but I will make it new.

      @Fullsend Offroad My brother use to have one of those, tough little machines. This thing still needs a lot of work also but that engine runs pretty good for only spending a couple hours on it so far.

      @@rockspowersports oh wow thats great! My recoil ring stopper broke off so I have to superglue a plastic piece so that the spring doesnt go around the plastic getting the pull starter stuck. I will also get a seat cover because it's ripped. But otherwise it's great, tough, and really fun to wheelie. I bought it for just 700 bucks and for good condition might sell it for 1200 or 1300. It needed a new carburetor too though.

      @@FullsendOffroad Doesn’t sound like she need too much then. And yes very easy to wheelie those machines. I’m actually on my way to pick up another three wheeler right now. This one is another Yamaha though.

    That’s a Honda for ya! Honda,Suzuki,Yamaha, even the older Arctic cats with the Suzuki motors. You just can’t beat them.

      Your right about that! Most of the older wheelers are more reliable than new.

    Love your videos buds. Watched almost all of them so far. A tour of your land would be sweet to see.
    One video you mentioned you get your water from a ram pump up in the hills? Are you off grid to some extent? Super interesting
