Congratulations Adrian on an excellent restoration! A tremendous sense of accomplishment for yourself no doubt & we're looking forward to some more updates on the Diesel 20 project. Taking so much pride in everything you do---I still think you'll ultimately decide to paint it---even if you end up assigning some light duties around the farm. Here's to a GREAT summer& silage season----Greetings again from Alberta!
a tip for painting rims is using a cheap set of playing cards and jamming them in a circle arround the bead then you dont have to use much tape and its pretty quick to do
Wow! You really did a great job restoring that 4 wheeler! I have a 1999 Honda 300 2WD, but mine was kept in a garage most of it's life, so it only had a few minor cosmetic issues, but did need a carb rebuild, runs great now...& it also needs brakes, which are about to be fixed... I just built a jockey shifter for it, which I like much better than the foot shifter... I'll be doing a disc brake conversion on the front soon, but first I gotta get the back brake working just so it'll have brakes, then I can save up for the conversion kit... I want to do a 4X4 conversion too, but I have a 2,500 pound winch on it, so there's virtually nothing it can't get out of, but 4WD is still nice to have...🖖🏿😎👍🏿
A genius 10 charger is about 150 euro, they charge up to 230amps. If the battery is depleted most charger won't charge the battery. The genuis chargers can put an amp into the battery and then charge it up. There is also a setting for battery repairs. Best thing I ever bought.
Love the new workshop I've often linked a totally dead battery with jump leads along with good one put them both on charge together it will bring up the old one from dead
Hi Adrian I love watching your videos. I'm from west cork. I have a oo Honda big red quad my mechanic near gave me back my petrol tank. It was in newsence towm in bandon with 3 years I had alot of trouble getting it back it was my dad quad. He passed away with a drink problem back in 2017. I miss him so much. You should be so proud of all your videos. I always look forward to watching all your videos keep it up thanks
Superb sympathetic rebuild ...love it sir...👍 this was a luxury i never had when i was farming we had to walk 🤭😂😉 now its side by side everwhere and brilliant my cousins lambing wouldnt be without it 👌👌👌had my first trip around ireland on motorcycle last sept loved it ill be back ...atb dave...
Awesome job as always Adrian,I was looking forward to how this lady turned out👌🏻 Your attention to detail is brilliant and the little small touches just add to the overall finish…..👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
In 2010 I was going to change up my 49cc moped to a Yamaha quad bike, however a week before me making the change I had an accident. I broke and fractured my spine, fortunately my spinal cord was intact so I wasn't paralysed, but I was off work for 6months. And in that time I thought probably for safety a car was a better way to go. I still think about that quad bike and always think that one day I would get on one, that is until I look outside and it's freezing cold or pouring with rain. 😂 It looks really smart and please never change the headlights to LED's, but do change that seat. 👍🤗
Honda300 were a great quad , I had one for nearly 20 years , firstly as main quad then as spare . Sadly petrol tank corroded and wasn’t worth replacing. Wish Honda were making quality quads now!
Loved this series as I have a 95 300FW. I was wondering where you got the replacement battery cover as I’m missing one too and can’t see one for sale anywhere. Lovely bike you’ve ended up with… apart from the seat mind. 😇
An absolute amazing job on saving a classic TRX300. We have to keep these bikes alive because they WERE, and still ARE the best bike that has ever been built to date. The most reliable, and the most simplest machine ever built. Great work!! Cheers!!
Hi great job on the big red we still run one the same as yours it’s tidy but not as nice as yours Honda’s are in my opinion the best and most reliable we also have a Kawasaki klf 300 it’s a good quad but not as good as the big red keep up the good work all the best 👍
Well Adrian, l must say that is such a great job u did the the 300 h quad, its a credit to you for spending time to over hual the quad, fair play Adrian Well done 👏, great video, chat soon kieran from Laghey donegal town
You're a gifted man adrian with a great pair of hands on ya, excellent job as always 👌 I had a mint clean honda 200 trike when I was a young lad, sorry man that ever sold it.
Hondas have a good deep sound to them. I love to see equipment redone instead of scrapped. You did a great job!
Great job bringing the quad back to life🏍👍
What a treat to have a midweek video and to get to see the Honda brought back to life. It’s beautiful! You did a great job!
Always enjoy watching you work on your equipment through these videos

Yes I agree, the LED lights do look hideous. Thanks for keeping the machine original.
Great to see the quad up and running. Next the 20
Forgot to say you just do everything right all your machines are so right absolutely spotless a real credit

Fantastic seeing an old quad in all her glory well done we had a foreman 350 2wd was a brilliant quad too don't see too many of them either

Love the new workshop

I've got a 1989 Honda Fourtrax 300! Sturdy little machine that will do a heck of a lot more work than the spec sheet says.
Oh, I like the red seat!
On camera it seems to match perfectly!
As you said, not original but looks good!
We tip weld a washer to the stud and then weld a nut onto the washer on the outside work's great with really hard to get out studs
Adrian is there anything you don’t know to do. Wow so talented and hardworking
If you’ve got a proper dead battery attach a battery to it with jump leads and also add your charger. 👍

That's a great job altogether Adrian, just so satisfying when you can make something so useful again.
For masking tyres you can use wallpaper paste believe it or not
Well done Adrian. I don’t know how you seem to be able to fix everything!👏☘️👍

Very nice Honda Adrian. The black seat will be the cherry on top. Thanks for sharing, Deb
Great job to see it back up and driving
Great Job Adrian
Every job you do, you do so well
Filling in foot rests is a must as riders used to break their ankle,I like the red seat, keep it until it needs replaced
Brilliant video adrian you did a lovely job to the quad 👌👍
She sounds amazing. It's a pity they didn't keep the kick starter for newer quads, they can be hard to pull at times. Especially bigger engines
They pull the fingers off you then the odd time if it half starts 😂
You make that look so easy.
How did you brighten up the plastics good
Outstanding job 👏 thank you so much for sharing brother 🇺🇸
Well done. Your some man for one man. I love your video's keep up the good work. Thanks
Nice one Adrian. The girls must be delighted...

Honda300 were a great quad , I had one for nearly 20 years , firstly as main quad then as spare . Sadly petrol tank corroded and wasn’t worth replacing. Wish Honda were making quality quads now!
Think you can get a plastic replacement tank nowadays, it like everything nowadays nothing built like it used to be
i love honda. In Australia they got a little contraversal with rollover protection.
Great job on the quad 👍👍

A worthy project. Great work
Absolute beast of a quad
Great work adrian maybe i missed something but did u change the quad or where did this machine come from?
It looks and sounds fantastic, a job well done I would say 👌
Use old school charger on battery first on trickle too bring life into it then smart charger should take over had the same problem
Class job as always adrian. Love the new work shop 🙂
They are brake shoes when you have drum brakes . Pads are when you have brake discs .

Quad looks very well, mine is the same with rims in good condition on one side. What did you use to polish the plastics?
Thankfully the plastic where in very good condition, just shined them with “Son of a Gun” Connor
Super job well done 👍
Well Adrian. What size tyres have you got on the 5460 and where did u get the new rims? I’m looking for a set for the same tractor
You're a gifted man adrian with a great pair of hands on ya, excellent job as always 👌
I had a mint clean honda 200 trike when I was a young lad, sorry man that ever sold it.
I was told that if a battery for a quad goes completely dead it canr take charge
Sterling job Adrian, that quad will now outlast you. 😂👍🏻
Great job 👍👌
