@@sk8nchill52 my friends at NHS / Indy say that cancel culture warriors began calling out Indy saying the cross was a Nazy logo even the its the same cross the pope wears ( the Christian cross). They also tell me that the bosses are hyper focused on the brand being #1 in skateboarding so it was time for the cross to go. It’s all bullsht and taking it away only supports the cancel culture bs.

I’m an aircraft mechanic in the daytime so we love straight metal. Those things are jacked up. Put a straight edge to the axle. Not the hanger. Check ‘em before you buy em !
In case you didn’t know, independent has moved their manufacturing to China and I’m not saying quality products can be built in China, but “coincidentally” their trucks have been breaking lately

The reason they mention is it supposedly being stronger is because since Indy has moved to China more and more of their trucks have been prematurely breaking.
After moving to China I expect Indies to be *much cheaper* in price. If not, I’m just gonna buy Venture or Thunders.

I skated only Indy from like 96-01, but they were heavy when you compared them to other trucks.
Indy hollows are now a thing I own a pair but replaced them to try these new old stage IVs and I love them!! I’ll put my hollows back on eventually tho, I have some stage 10’s too but the axel is bent
Rode Indys since the 80's but not anymore.
I had some of the first Indies on the East Coast when they were 161s and 151s.... Might still have them up in the attic.... late 70s
These days you go to the skate park and you have dudes from every generation of skating, dudes who dress like they walked off the set of Gleaming the Cube, dudes in their 30s-40s fully padded, dudes with chunky shoe and baggy pants riding tiny wheels like they’re living in 1997, Skinny Jeans emo kids, clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am stuck in the middle with you.
