Great video. Clear and concise. No BS. Got some new trucks and wasn't aware of the change until i compared to my old ones. Good to know they r still the best. TY
Mushrooming ... (when bushings mash down and "stick out") ... Hey , back in the day we all rode tight trucks (in Long Beach Ca.) And the top bushing always mushroomed UNLESS we use a harder bushing on top (yes bushings come in different hardnesses , just like wheels) I just found a set from ace that comes with this same hard soft combination... bushings used to be sold semi separate... one pack is just two top bushings and one pack is two bottom bushings... this way we could perfectly dial in our trucks ...
Indy started making trucks in China ever since stage 10.5 i.e. Forged Hollows and maybe even with the standard Hollows, that's like more than 10 years ago - Standard Indy's were still made in the USA at that time - some rumors said that only the Forged baseplates were made in China, even if that was the case it didn't take long for the entire stage 10.5 to be made completely in China

@MarkPuke13 it just helps break in the bushings so when you tighten them, they dont break or bust or get all squishy. Alot of bushing will harden as you skate them the first couple of times and will tighten on their own a little bit then you can adjust and it keeps them from getting wonky
Great to know that they are post 2020. I got a set of 149 11’s that were sitting for kind of a while. Not sure exactly the production date but, they completely suck. I’ve had to take them apart and had to clean every single piece, re-grease the pivot cup etc. They still blow. The more recent 144s I got that are also stage 11 are nearly perfect on 3 different size decks. No problems at all. Breaking in some weird ass Thunder trucks rn and they suck pp b

@@MarkPuke13 idk how I’m just seeing this but I appreciate the reply man! I’m in the market for a new set of trucks that aren’t Indy, or Thunder. I used to skate ventures and they just don’t fit my style anymore. I’ll definitely take a look at those trucks because I def need something different. Currently have the 2 sets of stage 11’s, 144, 149. Indy 144 Reynolds mid hollow (which are ehhh) Also a set of Thunder lights ii 149, and Thunder X Frog collab team 148. @@MarkPuke13 lol I’m an aircraft mechanic in the daytime so we like straight metal. Lol. That’s how they get that tight turning radius but it fucks your wheels up. I’m guessing they designed it in because the 11,$ are straight as an arrow.

You should try the blue aftermarket Indy bushings. They are harder and have way better rebound. I use the conical blues. Or you can get the regular barrel bottom ones.
My man saying it how it is bout them cushions right from the jump. Orange Indy 90A bushing are the worst. Only set of Indy trucks I enjoyed with the stock bushings was the Andrew Reynolds 149s but they had the black bushings.
