I startet skating again after a 26 year long break and wanted loose trucks for good cruising, so i bought the green mini logos…. I Immediately had a wheelbite because i of course gained weight the Last 26 years. I weight about 160 pound so i the orange standards back in my indys and they work perfect for me now.
I have had a similar experience with indys bushings, i have tried indys bushings from super soft up to medium hard, and the verdict was that I prefer medium or also medium hard, the white super soft are way too soft for me, the red soft ones are soft but for some reason they feel hard sometimes especially with the cold temperature they tend to go harder and it makes it difficult turning and carving, I think they are slightly taller and are more designed for old school trucks. Medium orange and medium hard blue are so far perfect. I haven't tried those hard black ones nor super hard yellow. The reason why Indy bushings slip out of the washer baseplate is because for the first few hours they are not meant to be tightened up too much, leave them loose , skate for a bit without tightening your kingpin nuts in order to break-in your bushings, them the urethane will start getting used to your weight and so at that point you can tight the nuts to the point of your own preference.
