Yeah, I've been looking at the different versions of this song. I don't know Mandarin but if the subs are accurate then this translation is one of the better ones.
The voice is better than the english imo, and the translation is really good! Usually when I see songs translated in other languages they lose the true meaning but this is pretty much spot on

I'm so happy to hear Hú Wéi-Nà back, and she sounds amazing. But, is it just me, or does she sound a lot older? It's just a little strange, yet she still has the same charm and incredible skills as before.
Actually I really like these lyrics! You should see the Italian ones... Those are not creative at all xD Anyway, thank you for making and I'm glad to hear Hú Wéinà back, I've always thought she was a great Elsa
Haha yes I see now that these lyrics are actually one of the better ones 😂 It’s a bit sad that nowadays Disney focuses only on casting a perfect voice actresses and neglecting lyrics translation, which is really important too.
You're so underrated❤💙💚💛, my favorite multilingual Disney related UA-camr! Also interestingly, you are speak/interested in all the languages I am interested in. 你会说中文和英语, 我在学习中文和法语。你也学过法语😁
I love how the English lyric is just "Into the unknown, into the unknown, into the unknoooown" and then the Chinese changed it to “去寻找真相,神秘的真相,未知的真相”。 feels like it explains "the truth" better
I love this version, and I can enrich my Mandarin vocabs from here. However, Ive barely realised that the Mandarin grammar is quite simple and short rather than the English translation.
You call this a disappointing literal translation? I don't want to know what the Finnish lyrics are then 😂😂 I love Hu Wei Na here so much, one of my favourite Elsa's in F2 so far ❣️
For a cringe literal translation, look no further than the Norwegian version. Although not as cringe as "La Den Gå", some of the translations in our version of "Into The Unknown" still sound extremely simple and Google Translate-esque.
@@DidrickNamtvedt reading the Norwegian and Danish lyrics, I've had the strong feeling that something was made in common. I think at least one person must have worked on both versions, maybe being fluent in only one of the two languages.
@@DidrickNamtvedt As a Norwegian, do you agree as well that the problem of "La den gå" wasn't only the literal translation aspect, but also the fact that they squeezed words in a weird order sometimes?

Qipao is NOT the same as the traditional Manchu clothing, as a matter a fact, modern Qipao bears little, if any resemblance to the traditional Manchu costume. Obviously you mixed the two up, it is you that should be doing some research.
the name of Qipao (旗袍)did not even exist until the 1920's, before that, the clothing most people in China were wearing on a day-to-day basis were called "Qizhuang" (旗装)。 The Qipao Proper as the rest world came to know follows a body-hugging, leg-revealing and sexy fashion trend that was once popular in the west, nothing like the traditional Qizhuang (旗装)that the Manchus were wearing. Qizhuang (旗装) is considered an ethnic minority TRADITIONAL clothing in China, Qipao (旗袍) on the other hand, never is.
I couldn't agree more about the lyrics: I'd have expected something more fanciful from China. I have the feeling that something has changed since 90s age and around, maybe they didn't make the most judicious choices as for the lyricist? I don't know. And that Elsa dressed up in a traditional shirt (?) confuses and charms at the same time! 😂🙃
All the 2010s Mandarin translations have been pretty bad ☹️ I am most disappointed about Cantonese this time for not even bothering to translation the line “Into the Unknown” 😭
@@Meirenyu Yeah, yeah, unfortunately I listened to that atrocity... (I didn't mind that much for korean end credits version because it weighs less, since it's a rock piece outside the film, but that violent language change in the middle, uhm...)😐 At least the other lines aren't bad!

Are we gonna ignore the fact that her voice sounds incredibly similar to the english version's?
How many "version's" does english have?
(If yall get my joke)
they try to make it sounds like the original

She should be wearing HANFU,the real Chinese traditional clothing.
