- The modern sitting toilet creates a really unnatural kink in your lower colon that often makes going to the bathroom to poop difficult. 2/3 of the world knows the natural position (the full, relaxed squat) and uses it with ease. The Step and Go is a step (no pun intended) in getting the Western world back to the natural position for excretion. My Russian friend (the guy you see in the video) has been using this product for weeks, and his acne has gotten so much better. The fact that he's been going to the bathroom with better elimination has helped his skin clear.

Great video, thanks! You mentioned you grew up squatting and that's perhaps why a deeper squat is easy for you. You're also slender, or of average build depending on what country you're in. In the USA for sure many, if not most, people are overweight as my cohabiting man friend and I are (we each weigh over 200 lbs). Having a large belly makes it harder to squat deeply, hence all these different types of toilet footstools, which are built for the non-gymnastic among us, ha! When I worked at a raw vegan café and store, we had the Welles Step, and I loved it. I have also been experimenting with Do It Yourself versions of using plastic food containers under each foot, inspired by ye olde UA-cam. I love your video because you inform and urge folks to just stop pooping with our knees at, or below our hips, and how damaging that method is. I really appreciate that. Thank you!

This looks like The Squatty Potty, which I bought a few years ago and sent back very quickly, as to me, it was nothing like proper squatting, which, although, a 62 year old European Male, I can do with no issues.
When I sat on the Squatty Potty, I couldn't feel any "difference," in fact, it was damned uncomfortable as your rear sinks into the toilet seat, which is very sharp!
Since then, I've been happily (but carefully) squatting on the rim of the toilet.
If I could afford and work out how to assemble The Lilipad effort, I'd go for one of those, as that, at least looks like it's proper squatting!
I have purchased this product because it was cheaper than the squatters potty. I love it. In fact yesterday I had to go at work and I hate going at work because the toilets are so high and they make them all that way for people who may have special needs for it. So my feet were dangling because I’m short. Terrible experience. A stool of any kind is the way to go. I will probably get a higher product like the Lilly pad because I want a more of a squat when I sit.

Why not just use a chair then.
