My pro tip: eat WHAT the baby eats and eat WHEN the baby eats. I’ve never cooked extra for my babies, just adjusted the things we would usually cook. 🤷🏼♀️
We occasionally do extended baby wearing. My daughter was very fussy today and went in the sling for a little while today. She is nearly 20 months. She breaks my back but its a lifesaver!
I totally agree that sling/baby carrier is a lifesaver, especially when travelling. We travelled with a 5 month old to Turkey and I could just put her in a sling and she would look around the airport and then sleep through the security check (thankfully I was allowed to pass through without taking her out). We’re using Hello Fresh with regular intervals. Before having a baby I loved looking up new recipes every week but now I am not that keen on doing that when my babyfree time is limited 😅 so I love that I can just quickly pick 5 recipes and go on with my life. We save the recipes afterwards and on weeks we don’t have Hello Fresh delivery we sometimes pick from the cards and just do the grocery shopping based on that. Regarding the cooking for yourself vs the baby - ours is just starting solids and I try to introduce one or two new products to her diet everyday and I basically pick out products from what we are eating anyway. The goal is basically to have her eat so many different things that she actually can eat the same meal as we do, only without salt or forbidden products like honey. It’s still tricky as her repertoire is quite limited for now, but she already had onion soup we had (I just separated her portion before adding salt) and baked cod with leek and cream sauce we had for dinner with my husband (again, just separated her portion before adding salt). I am too lazy to be cooking different meals for the baby in the long run 🙈
Thanks for the video Bryony! I agree on pretty much all the products you mentioned! 😎 I would add in a white noise machine and a toy that makes any kind of sound, I had a talking bear and a train and my baby starred to them for a pretty long time!
I can't believe the fee for delivery for groceries is so cheap there! Wow! That's awesome! Here it's $10 regardless of when in the day unless you want it in the next hour or two and then it's 15!
I agree wirh rhe cbebbies thing. I used to do rhis for my teo when they were younger , i will warn againat bing... That little brat is awful.. i know wheb hes naugty that flop tries and teaches him thats wrong and the correct way My son started mimicking the bad behaviour that bing waa doing.. as an example. Theres a particular episode where bing screams in the face of a sleeping baby. My son started doing this to his sister ... Everything else for the most part is fab lol
Great list of things that make life a tad easier! I haven't ventured out to try the meal delivery services, even though I've wanted to! It's so expensive and I'm afraid I won't enjoy the meals... I need to just try it and see and be done with the wondering! Ha!

This is a great tip! I do this too with my now toddler and it makes life so much easier!
100% this, making one meal plan a week is quite enough I am not doing a separate one for the child 😂
Yep! I run a small nursery, and the foods we feed the littles are just adjusted (no salt/sugar) adult versions. It’s very beneficial for them!

Your discount code went on but didn't take anything off the total 😢
Oh give them a message, the ladies that run the company are super nice and I'm sure will sort it out! I'll also let them know. x
