GEORGE TOWN, MALAYSIA is a city of street art and spectacular food

Welcome to the beautiful city of George Town, Malaysia. In this cinematic travel guide, we take an unplanned adventure through this vibrant, charming, and laid back island destination.
The first thing you will notice is the remarkable architecture of this place. Once a British colony, George Town chose to embrace its past rather than erase it. This led to the immaculate preservation and restoration of the 100 year old buildings that make up the majority of George Town.
Just off of the main coastal road are the Clan Jetties, traditional Chinese neighborhoods radiating off the coast, soaring out into the water. Head back into town and take in the abundance of street art that covers George Town's storied walls. Escape the beating sun by wandering down the shaded Art Lane.
Head to Little India for some great vegetarian food at Thali NR Sweets Cafe and then duck into the many shops selling beautiful and affordable costume jewelry. IF you can't decide what to eat, have a little bit of everything at the Jetty Food court.
Escape the city and head up into the mountains to Kek Lok Si temple, the largest Buddhist temple in all of Malaysia. George Town is an unexpected delight that will take your breath away, and it's all waiting here for you to discover.

Hi everyone! Please know that we are doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19. We are practicing social distancing and spending most of our time in our apartment in Bangkok. We have cancelled all trips until May and will reassess the situation at that time.
Our upload schedule is actually several weeks behind where we currently are. The videos that get posted on our UA-cam channel were filmed before travel restrictions and recommendations to stay home.
We can't wait to start travelling again, and will only do so once it is safe and travel restrictions start getting lifted.
Until then; stay safe, healthy, wash your hands, and stay at home as much as you are able to. We will only get through this if we do it together.
