I’ve just come back from Penang. The best food in the World. The street Art and the buildings are Amazing. We loved it!
Penang absolutely rocks! I can't get enough of it. And I see you discovered Antarabangsa Enterprise!!!
Reminiscing over our night haha, love it! .... “oh come on, you like that?” was such a good response.
Ack! I just received my first postcard and it’s the one in this video! So glad to support you two. I just couldn’t love your videos mor and because of your collaboration regarding travel stuff I discovered Kara&Nate too. Keep On Traveling!!!
We live in New Zealand but we have been to Penang a couple of times - the second visit was because we loved the food so much, especially the Kapitan! I hate to think how many times we ate the tandoori chicken. Some of the best food we have had anywhere. Really enjoy your videos.
Renee Woollaston hi from Wainuiomata,I know everyplace in this vdo.Im 53 now,been to Penang many x,first x when I was 25.
Nice to hear that
Awesome video as always!
I love that you're cat people.
El Capitan! It’s what we called the place when backpacking around Malaysia. So great, pretty much ate there every evening when I was in Penang. Butter nann and tandoori was my fav!
That street art was amazing! Hands down beats San Francisco!! Kudos to the locals for dealing with that storm so well, hope no-one was hurt x
i'm obsessed with watching your videos.....you have inspired me to travel again.
Hi guys, Lithuanian-born, Penang-based artist Ernest Zacharevic was commissioned to paint six murals as part of the 2012 George Town Festival, one mural at 12:58, the “Little Children on a Bicycle” piece is one of the most photographed places in all of George Town
awesome video guys food looked amazing :))
10:30 the cat fight is hilarious 😆
Interesting architecture and art ! 😎
That Lassi is just a variation of yoghurt or curd whipped with water, generally the sweeter one is preferred but some like it savoury or with some salt. That naan and Tandoori chicken look delicious.
Oh come on ! and you like that? I was dieing, so funny. Fantastic camera work on your walk through the streets, beuatiful buildings.
"the last car that parked here is still missing" that is quite hilarious
Another great video! Glad you're enjoying south east Asia! Come to Singapore and try the Chili crab!
Grace C You started the war, its Malaysian.
The english and french heritage is absolutely stunning, how many people went to South Asia for the tea industry and left that buildings and style? Georgetown was incredible... and the food! I really enjoy hindu influence too, very spicy and colorful..Nikita, you're one of the mine! Sometimes I like food and beverages the rest hate 😄 Congrats guys!
It was such a beautiful part of the island. 😍 And Nikita loves sour/tangy drinks...Eric and I keep trying to like them, but so far, no luck haha!
Don't forget Usher in the movie Allison! Pretty fit I think! Loved the brawling cats too!
I remember learning about why Georgetown was so run down it's because of some ancient Chinese custom whereby property has to be left alone for a long time after the passing of the owners.
That last dish is nasi kandar. It’s uniquely a Penang special
Best openings on UA-cam!
My hometown. Giving me the chills. I live in Missouri now.
No way, we're from Missouri! I guess we're switching sides of the world for a bit :)
We have just gone to Penang for that tandoori chicken. It's open 24 Jam(hrs) a day. So of course I had it at 430am before we flew out. Mmmmm, time to book a flight.
you guys always make me hungry
Lassi is yogurt drink, no?
Nice honest vlog again stay safe and take plenty of imodium
Amazing commentary
Hey Guys!! Recommend you to visit cameron highland, is a very nice cold place to visit. and also visit melaka for history.
Hei guys..luv ur vids...come to Cameron highlands..
I was amazed at the beauty of the art there. It was really creative and beautiful. Food looked great also. It made me want good Indian food. Not easy to find that in my area of Germany.
Mary Sterck haha,, im malaysian,, & 1 think about malaysian food u need need to know,, its a diversity combination of malay+indian+chinese taste,,
So, the indian food here are totally different from original/international indian food. Same with malaysian chinese food, its totaly different from original/international chinese food.
If you try indian food from india country n indian food from malaysia, u will know what i mean, same with the chinese cuisine from china & from malaysia. So totally honest here, even i still dont know how origanally indian food flavour taste. Because indian food in malaysia have already been mixed with malaysians taste. Some info for you.
Please explain how Nakisha fits into this?
The fruity sauce was most likely a chutney, Mango and other fruit chutneys are a stable part of the meals.
The artwork in Penang is amazing! And how do you still question Nikita’s weird food/drink interests. You should know better 😂
I really should 😄
it really is.. but the food is out of control! Funny I went to the same Indian restaurant ;)
Should go to Kimberly street/road try the hawkers food there
that tandoori at the kapitan is the best in the world
I think there might be a few banksy hidden amongst the street arts if I am not mistaken.
Some of the English style architecture here is amazing
Who is the guy who explained about the lassi?
Don't miss 'char kuey teow' in Penang!
what's the story behind all the fabulous street art?
Think you might need a trip to India as you like the food so much! 😀
Im really surprised that No one introduced you to the Baba Nyonya sub culture & the world most delicious food. Just Google or check it out on youtube , it's almost going to be forgotten, but I hope not.
Anyone who travel to Penang, dont shy to ask the locals where to find the best food.
Please come back to Cambodia and travel to a lot of Cambodia's wonderful places😘
Hopefully we'll be back through there again soon!
the faculty is a good movie
suggestion try roti bom. I don't no call in English. .. haha
Next Cameron highlands
🔴📸👍👍👍👍📸🔴
2:35 The last car that parked here is still missing....
r u guys still in penang?? if yes try nasi kandar, char kuay teow, cendol ( ice shave dessert), laksa, mee sotong and coconut shake at padang kota.
lol, getting excited to write a comment before the video end. didnt know that u guys already try nasi kandar.
Antarabangsa means international
Was not going to comment but I'm sorry as a Penangite, you have really not tried the "real" good Indian food around. Trust me there's a lot more. While KL is the shopping Capital of Malaysia, Penang is considered the "Food Haven" of Malaysia. Being a little proud here, I can tell you for a fact that we have the absolute BEST Food in Malaysia. So if you're ever still in Penang or if you know anybody who is going to be visiting Penang, please feel free to send me a message and I'll be more than happy to give recommendations.
Enough of my ranting... Good vlog tho. Keep up the great vlogs!
Yuuuup. My Uncle and his wife live in Penang, he did a video recently about the flooding that happened there ( in November no less ). It gets really bad from what I saw in his video, which reminds me of hurricane season here - how bad it was this year especially.
ua-cam.com/video/fYlw4z3mL8M/v-deo.html -- that's his video.
Coming to Singapore?
Yep!
The Endless Adventure nice! Check out old airport road and Newton circus food centre! And maybe also try singapore’s exclusive mcspicy burger from MacDonalds! Looking forward to the videos
Me: Mom, can I go to Penang?
Mom: No, you will break your diet again don't you?
Me: Oh come on!
You did not go to Langkawi
"it's off the chain"
What is this chain that you keep speaking of? 😀🤔
Not sure actually... but you better believe the best things in life are off of it!
The Endless Adventure
I think that saying is going to go on my Endless Adventure bingo card! 😀
Aloo = Potato
Gobi = Cauliflower
Saag = Spinach
Brinjal = Aubergine/Eggplant
Bhindi = Okra/Lady Fingers
^^ I think I am correct
Paalak= Spinach
Saag= Mustard Leaf Mash(Punjabi) /Other Greens mash
Fallen trees
02:35 no parking please
Was wondering if anyone would notice that 😄
the cheapest beer in all of malaysia should be in Langkawi!
Labuan too
Totally agree ! Duty free heiniken buy 1 Get 1 free🍺 I even found my fav HOEGAARDEN @ the duty free shop full of all kinds of yummys
i'd need at least a whole bottle of whisky to get through any josh Hartnett movie.
It was pretty rough 😂
Antarabangsa means international. Lol. I know this place.
She really looks like Britney Spears.
You're a sweet couple but it's hard watching TWO fussy eaters traveling around the world. Standard American midwest bland pallet and narrow flavor profile. Nothing spicy, nothing slightly sour, nothing too sweet...just make it as buttery and salty as possible. Be adventurous, try things. You two are eating like tourists.
ositofreitas I totally agree with you. Exactly what I was thinking watching the whole video. They should be talking more to locals, find out where they go, where they eat. I am from Penang, born and raised and i can tell you, they've no idea what they are talking about. C'mon! Penang has SO MANY different varieties of food, not just indian food! Backpacking is fun, but doing some homework before you do something, goes a long way.
i have a diff view from you.. i think it's refreshing that The Endless Adventure say what they think... i've seen reactions where the reviewers 'loves' everything they taste here in malaysia.. C'mon, you must love some and dislike some if you are tasting food outside your normal comfortable food surroundings..
Be truthful and not sucking up to the malaysian public is what i think every reviewer should do. :D
Peace.
Did you see them eat a sheet's head or steak tartare? They are much more adventurous and open minded in their food choices when travelling than most people (including myself). What is wrong with not wanting too spicy, too sweet? Oh, they are tourists BTW.
The chicken may actually be one of those rats!
😂
Doug Williams all of your comments in Malaysia's foods videos.. will be.. "its not ... its rat".. "....its dog".. "....its cat"".. do you think we Malaysian do eat that sort of thing? Please grow up and read more..
Tommy Tightlips yep the vlog is great got to see some nice bits but the place looks like a stinking dump, so bad you couldn't tell a difference after the storm, cleaning and hygiene dose not cost sorry, to the people over it is not ment to offend
Doug Williams nah,Kapitan rest is halal,rats are haram!
What u doing here.just searh UK..US..JAPAN video.y again and again here..boring guy ever
