Celebration Day their most recent is absolutely incredible, shows they are still the best band that ever was! Every one has an off time, even the best.

BTW, glad these clips are causing some lively discussion. Uploading these types of clips to youtube can be a real pain because of WMG, so it's nice to see that they are watched after jumping through their hoops. Enjoy...cheers!

Thanks Jimmy for the low-down on the disastrous Live Aid performance. From what I had heard from RP and you I expected something horrible but being musically ignorant, I didn't see or hear anything that bad.

Yes, I know that clip! I think you're right. These guys like to "take the piss" as they say in Britain; but, lots of times they do move on, and the mutual respect is there.

I saw the Live Aid gig back then as a teen and now I viewed it as an adult. As an adult I recognised immediately that Page was in terrible shape on many levels. I've read this was during a particularly bad part of his H addiction.
I don't necessary think that Page is the kind of person I'd hang with, and vice versa goes w/o saying. But seeing another human being suffering, which to me it appears he was, is always painful & he's gifted the world with masterpeices.
    I'm glad he's okay now.

Page was not on Heroin in 1985. Clapton helped him clean up in 1983 by giving Jimmy the contact that Clapton used to kick his Heroin addiction.

Yes, Phil helped out Robert on PKM & Pics @ 11, and did a great job. Phil and Robert were good friends, and that's great. I don't know why Jimmy has a bee in his bonnet about Phil. But, Page is entitled to his opinion, even though I am not stuipd...he's definitely trying to pass the buck. So, I see where you're coming from.

Phil Collins was the Justin Beiber of 1985. He was everywhere, but he did not belong there on that day, on that stage. Don't get me wrong, I respect him and his work with Genesis;, but, becuase he was suach a media darling at the time, his appearance was unnecceary & distracting. Plant brought him in, & I guess Page wasn't pleased but carried on.

    thats right blame Phil Collins
Robert Plant singing out of tune and why not tune your own guitar Mr Page??? You should have declined to do it in the first place

He acknowledges in this video that his guitar was wildly out of tune.
