I appreciate that Spike. Have been fortunate enough to find what I do. Randy is in my thoughts. Ready to see the whole gang back at it! Take care and have a blessed weekend
.That's right my friend, the search is very intense and tiring but there is almost always gratification. The last time I hunted we were in 6 different places and we found one that left us satisfied. All your finds were quality mate, wow. Sometimes when you go back to the car you find the best pieces and sometimes meters from where you get off the car. It is difficult to search in the water and in the sands. In the snow or in the sun. HAPPY WEEKEND MY FRIEND.
The miles and hours put towards finding arrowheads is a great deal of work but when you stumble upon a point all that doesn't matter anymore! Best wishes
Making your own arrow is more of a accomplishment then looking for one cause any one can just look on the ground for one but your arrow you make is your craft of a one of a kind
I do flint knap and enjoy making my own. And do a fairly good job at it. But finding one I believe is a better accomplishment. It's an item from the past that is now found and saved for future reference. I will agree and say that yes anyone can find one but it's those people and their character who find them that matter. If their heart is in the right place then good will come. But if they are just searching to out do another or spike up their ego their heart isn't in it for the good but for greed.
You should have seen the arrowhead hunting Adventure I had after this one one of the best trips out in a very long time. Put it this way I came to almost 50 pieces broken and whole during that trip💪
The rhyolite piece was my favorite. Don't find as much made from that material. It's here but not as widely used as other materials. Take care and have a blessed weekend
Killer finds man , love that material there . And your right dang it , some times that’s all you can say . Killer ! Still a frame worthy piece ! Thanks for sharing!
The creeks get just as dirty here too but after a good rain it's usually washes most of that film off for a few days afterwards. That's when it's time to put in that work! Best of luck on your next trip hunting. 👊
@@PtownRockhound thanks, most people who have seen the Rocky Mountains say the Blue Ridge mtns are hills but they always seem to reduce the amount of rain that gets my way by 80% or more. The only time it pours here is from hurricanes or a noreaster so we probably have 3 or more years of slime right now. Way too slick for walking unless you don't mind your back pockets full of water. GL out there
Very sweet! After a day of "almosts," it's good to finally get a whole one! But that one heartbreaker . . . WOW! and OUCH! at the same time!! Check out my latest vid if you haven't already.
I did watch your video. Not familiar with artifacts from that region but enjoy seeing artifacts from other states. That thing you guys call a Waco Sinker was nice. Best wishes
Man you're on some nice artifacts up there. Congratulations and continued good luck to you!

Hell ya bro, those kind of days are few and far between.
Great finds!!! Enjoyed watching! Man to bad on that heartbreaker, it's still killer though!
At least it was an old break. Seeing one that looks fresh has you thinking more of the "what ifs". Thanks for watching. See ya later!
Really great points and video.happy hunting.
Thanks for the sub! Really appreciate the support. 👊❤ Best of wishes
Awesome points brother, killer stuff
Thanks! When it comes to us arrowhead hunters, we'll take what we can get! Take care and be safe on your next adventure.
Man I'm with you on that heartbreaker 😭 it's still a great artifact. Enjoyed the video 🏹
Just got to roll with the punches I suppose. That's the name of the game when it comes to finding artifacts for us.
Persistence is 🗝️
💯
Anybody ever wonder how many arrowheads are in our roads, side walks, and parking lots?
Hard telling but more than likely if it's gravel from a creekbed Missouri it's probably got an artifact in it🤣
Great finds! Love the color on those. Happy Hunting!

very cool!
Thank you. The joy of finding items from the past is a blessing. Take care❤
Missouri has some sweet flint! All we have over in southern pa is quartz and more quartz lol
Yes sir. And there's so many waterways that intervene the state. Definitely a go to state for artifacts. Best wishes❤

Finding heart breakers is bitter sweet. But it does beat a stick in the eye! Pleasure to share with others that find the same interests. Best wishes
Nice saves, I can't believe how clean those creeks are. Most of the ones around me are covered in
green/black slime year round

@@PtownRockhound Thanks! Always appreciate a loyal viewer. Let me know if you are ever in Texas and I'll host you on a hunt.
Actually I'll be in Texas in a few short weeks but I'm not staying there.
@@PtownRockhound Maybe next time . . .
Anything can happen! Thanks for the offer ❤
Is the ptown for palmyra?
No sir. Never heard of that
@@PtownRockhound small town in Nemo. 10 miles from where I hunt so I was just curious haha
