  • I was sent the MicroPod for microgreens from Mother. Its actually a really well designed product and I think they actually made some smart choices compared to some of the grid style sprouters.

    This product is amazing!! Yes I've tried growing micro greens before and was so irritated by the process. This tray makes it easy!

    Oh yeah I’m definitely going to invest in some of these. In my experience, microgreens are best grown in these types of hydroponic (water grown) environments rather than growing mediums like jute pads, peat moss, etc.
    Also I agree the grid method sucks. Got a fantastic yield doing it once and never did it again

    I am not really 'pon eating baby plants - they just look too cute. For micro greens you don't need scientists running an underground aquaponic farm, with nuclear power and gold chain wearing penguins guarding it. But this system seems very smart. Tbh I would get the penguins anyway.

    Do you harvest the microgreens in the traditional way i.e. cutting them with scissors while they are in the container? Or do you slide them out with the roots and then trim them and discard the roots?

    Good Review. Looks like its well designed. Question: with something like this would you need to add a nutrient mixture to the water?

      No microgreens are grown using up the stored energy in the seeds so they are only meant to sprout and grow one or two leaves before harvest. just plain water will be all you need

      @TechplantChannel  Рік тому

      They shouldn't really need much light unless you wanna grow em out a bit past sprout size
