I run a tool manufacturing company i am really impressed by your product, but here in India these machines cost a fortune. I have a dream to own one of your machines one day.
Currently we are using a doosan turn mill and a BMV50 (BFW) with 5 axis table.
learned on a DMU 50 2rd Generation the 3+2x programming with Shopmill 840D :D Good start to work on. The Alien Desgin of the Machines, theyre like a magnet for young People haha. But now iam on a G550 Horizontal with a ~70kW spindle. But i like both :D i think on my Profile there are some vids of first few parts on a DMU 50 :D

I currently run a 2nd gen and a 3rd gen DMU50. There is a learning curve coming from Fanuc, for sure. But I love the CELOS interface.
My biggest complaint is lack of information. I can get days of information about anything HAAS or even just FANUC based. You guys are really expensive. You’re training is expensive. Your support is expensive.
You need to make these machines less mystical. It’s incredibly hard to figure out without training. It took me almost a year and half of reading manuals, taking drops of info where I could find it and using trial and error to figure most of it out.
That being said, I’d prefer to never run another FANUC again. Siemens is on a different level.
But for the ease of use, I’d buy one of these if they come with the FANUC based control. Otherwise I have to train the whole shop on a new language and philosophy.

Das Konzept der DMU eVo Baureihe unterscheidet sich von dem der DMU Baureihe. Die DMU 40 basiert auf dem Grundkonzept der DMU 50 3rd Generation.
