Her voice is raspy yet extremely feminine, her dancing & the way she moves is like an angel she’s absolutely beautiful.
Stevie is a kind of spirit animal to a lot of us girls, the fairy godmother of style, poetry and utter coolness.
This is easily Fleetwood’s very best song for me.
1:37 "Her voice kills me, dude. What she does to me..." Same, bro! Same. I've seen Stevie in concert 4 times (once solo and 3 times with Fleetwood Mac) and the first time I saw her and she did her iconic spin I screamed so loud I thought I broke my larynx. Ha! Seriously though, I was hoarse for like 2 days after that. She is INCREDIBLE in concert.
"Gypsy" was written for her best friend Robin, who had passed away from leukemia the year this was released. And just days after Robin had given birth to her son Matthew, 3 months early.
The "video" itself is my absolute favorite of all time. Stevie is simply beautiful in it...
This song was played at my aunts funeral. She was 4 years younger than me and she had such a free spirit, gypsy soul that left this world too soon. Everybody smiled and cried when it was played because we knew it was her.
So sorry for your loss. Carry her spirit on.
@@jackiegoodspeed1849 Thank you. 🌻
i bet ur auntie smiled down at you at the Same Time
@@dominikbach7406 Thank you she was the one in the family that danced to her own music and I'm sure she was smiling
So Stevie Nicks voice melts you? Welcome to the club with a few million other men.
Venture to say few hundred million.
Yeah she’s had me for years now. I don’t think I’m ever leaving
I got in that line a long time ago too.
Me me me.. 90s baby here.
Saw them in 75/76 at the very small and personal Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
Her angelic sound both soothes and comforts every single male ear that her voice reaches. Anytime. Anyplace. Anywhere. God bless her.
Female ears too!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎼🎵💜💜💜
@@marcieharreld286 stevie is so damn fine and her voice is just well.... she might be 74 and I'm 34 but I'd still marry her!
@@weasel8826 I'm sure you're not the only one!!😉😉🤘🤘
Love this song ❤ Love Fleetwood Mac ❤ Love Stevie Nicks her amazing voice and divine charisma ❤️💖🧡 Love Christine McVie and her musical and song writing talent RIP magic woman 🙏💔 Love real music - that’s the meaning of true music that gives eternal light and flame to you and to your soul 🤍🖤❤️🧡💛💜❤️🔥
@@ЕленаСинцова-х6д beautifully said!!!🎶🎼🎵💜💜
I saw Fleetwood Mac in 1975, and stood only 10 feet in front of Stevie while she performed. It was amazing, and you are correct, in that I was completely enveloped by her charms. I instantly fell in love with the most beautiful and talented woman I had ever laid eyes on. I was 17 years old, she was 27 and I couldn’t get enough of her. I bought every record she ever sang on and wore them out listening to her unmatched vocals. Rock on Stevie ❤️
✌🏼😎
I saw her in 75 also!!! One of the best concerts EVER!!!🎶🎼🎵
Every man is right. I'm gay and had a huge crush on Stevie in the 70's and 80's and I still do!
Love Fleetwood Mac, and love Stevie's voice. She's very unique.
Great reaction!! Stevie has a very special voice. Stevie had several big name rocker boyfriends. You would love her "Stand Back" from her solo career, along with "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" (with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) and "Leather and Lace" (with Don Henley). Glad you didn't pass out during the song George! :)
ROFLMAO. They looked as awestruck as the guys I knew way back when!
Yes I 💯❤️ absolutely
Her voice melts me she’s been my favorite female singer since 1973.
You're not alone, we all fell in love with Stevie the first time we heard and saw her. I was lucky enough to meet her several times at her house in the late 80's for my job. I was trying so hard not to fall all over myself, but she couldn't have been any nicer. Made me love her even more.
Stevie rules on anything she does and this is no exception. Her voice and stage presents sets her apart. She does such a great job on this song it rates up there with LANDSLIDE, STOP DRAGGIN' MY HEART AROUND AND IF ANYONE FALLS. Every time she sings I get the chills.
Not only is Stevie unique. Shes powerful, compelling, authentic and haunting. In her prime 1975- 85 she was easily the best singer in Mac. Gorgeous woman.
I was mesmerized the first time I saw her too! Every young girl wanted to be just like her. I wished I could shop in her closet! I still love her music so much!
Stevie Nicks is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, for FM and solo.
The Queen...unmistakable voice!!🎶💙🎶
Love seeing someone else fall for Stevie!
I fell in love with her before I even saw her, in 1977, when I was 17, and I heard “Dreams.” That VOICE! And then I actually saw her on TV a few weeks later. Goodness goodness goodness
Stevie always entrances me with her unique and beautiful voice, and her all around beauty!
Yes, Stevie’s voice brings our emotions to the surface!
Stevie is f*cking untouchable. Best female rock vocalist of all time - hands down. Not debatable.
Love your enthusiasm. George, unfortunately you were born too late to have lived in the 70s but at least you can still experience the music and the vibe thru these songs and videos.
Fleetwood Mac with Stevie performing Gypsy as only she can, fantastic, thank you so much Patrick and George for reacting to this. My next request for FM - Sisters of the Moon, Mirage tour 1982, react to the Goddess perform the greatest moment in Female Rock, awesome nothing before or since😀
I have that exact feeling when I hear her voice. She was a gift to us. Exquisite!!
Love you guys for loving Stevie and the Mac. And thank you for expressing what I have known and felt since I was 13 years old. I am now 54 and feel precisely the same. I hope Stevie lives forever, honestly.
Great song and Stevie Nicks has such an amazing voice. She wrote this one around 1979 and it was released in 1982. Haven't heard it for a long time so good to hear it again and love the video too. Fleetwood Mac have such a fantastic catalogue of songs. Just wondered, guys, if you were thinking of reacting to some early, ie late 1960s, Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green? Great songs like Oh Well, The Green Manalishi, and the wonderfully hypnotic instrumental, Albatross, definitely worth checking out! Thanks guys for this reaction.
YES YES! Peter is awesome, I fell in love with him aged 12! Had the honour to see him when he "returned" in early 80s. Was with an all black backing band called White Sky. Legendary. In a small club somewhere in London, I forget where. Love early Mac to pieces.
I remember in 1982 I was 13 and MTV was brand new. And I remember all of the hype surrounding this video. I remember me my sister and parents all watching the debut of this video. It was a big deal. And at the time the most expensive video made.
Stevie Nicks has a voice that drives us guys wild, no doubt about it. Rooms on fire is another great track as is Mystified from the album Tango in the night
Stevie's voice so haunting, beautiful and unique. A true musical pleasure to hear her sing
I've heard Stevie/Fleetwood Mac all my life but still kills me every time, her beauty and voice are captivating, and of course the rest of the group. so I'm loving how this guy in the Stevie shirt is reacting, I feel you lol. First video I've saw of you guys, enjoyed.
You guys rock!! your reactions are always so passionate!!! thanks for the share!!! song brings back memories!!!
That note at 3 36 and 3 37, ridiculous! I'm in tears.
Excellent reaction to an amazing song from a super talented group! The song “Big Love” done by Lindsey Buckingham… solo…. (The dance…1997} Beyond belief guitar playing and singing! He gets a very deserved standing ovation! It can’t be explained… you just have to see it! …Also “Don’t stop” complete with a brass band! You will love it! Thank you both again!
LOL...'Her voice kills me dude...'. Oh yeah Stevie hits differently, and then there's Lindsey's guitar/production and the Mac. Unreal.
It's been a while since I've seen a young man so enamored by a woman! I love watching you guys. I was in college when it came out and this song has kept the same magic. I'm glad you feel the same unique magic.
How can u not be in love with Stevie Nicks? As a boy growing up in the 70’s and 80’s I loved her! Great voice and beautiful lady.
One of my favorite videos of the era. Love it that the rest of the band has cameos, and the smile on the young girl's face as they dance at the end always melts me. Got to see them live and Stevie tells the backstory of that song. I still count that show as one of the best I ever experienced.
I understand his reaction. I had an emotion breakdown after listening to this song for the first time
Stevie has the most incredible voice! Do your heart a blessing and listen to Nightbird by her! Love your reactions.
Doesn't Stevie''s voice do that to us all, beautiful song from a great album by a brilliant band, great days!
My FAVORITE artist! I've loved her voice since I first time i heard it years ago.
If her heavenly voice gets to you(and it gets to all of us), try a listen to "Sara"(the original studio version from 1979's Tusk). IMO, she never sounded more angelic.
Yes George, we are ALL IN LOVE w Stevie Nicks! She was a beauty but also just such a unique, amazing voice.
One of my favorite groups! There's no voice like Stevie Nicks.
Here's a few songs that will blow you away, showing that Lindsey Buckingham is the most underrated guitarist in the world:
- Fleetwood Mac - I'm so Afraid (Live 1980, Cleveland, OH) [one of the best guitar solos of all time]
- Fleetwood Mac - Big Love (The Dance Live 1997) [Lindsey playing lead and rhythm guitar at the same time]
- Buckingham Nicks - Frozen Love [the song that got Lindsey and Stevie into Fleetwood Mac]
All the live versions of "I'm So Afraid" are great. Haunting vocals and amazing guitar work. I really like the 1997 version from the Dance.
Stevie has always been a favorite of mine. So many great songs to choose from. Her most recent video, "Show Them the Way," is fantastic. It shows that she still has it, even into her 70's.
Fleetwood Mac's live 1979 version of "Sisters of the Moon" is another haunting performance from Stevie. The music video for "Rooms on Fire." Or, "Landslide" live from the Dance. I could go on, but I won't.
Guy on the right just gets it. Every expression, moment of awe, ditto my friend.
"Sara" is a MUST!! Listen to her sing Sara bois on TUSK 1979. Rumours is 77
When will you guys do the original PRETENDERS band with Chrissi Hynde? The debut record is considered one of the best of all time - and she is an icon, AND the band had one of the best guitar players of his generation - him and Johnny Marr of the SMITHS.
yay! they unblocked this video! one of my most favourite FM and stevie songs! please do the live version (official music video) of SARA - it is my other fav and it is FABULOUS!
thank you! ❤
Ohhhhhhhh trust me you're not the first guy to have a crush on Stevie.
I'm new to your channel, but I adore how thrilled you get from her vocals.... ❤
One of our most DISTINCTIVE voices. Great!! Great11 GREAT!!!
Stevie Nicks is the Queen of Rock and Roll for many good reasons.
⚪⚪⚪⚪🌙⚪🎩💚
YOu have good taste friend, Stevie has been melting my heart since I was a teen in the 70's, she is such a darlin, especially in this song.
every guy in the 80's was in love with Stevie.I stil am now and i'm 56 now.
You should really check out her song “Beauty & The Beast” from her 1983 solo album “The Wild Heart” 💖 Her voice is so mesmerizing on this song!
That is a great recommendation and a superb ballad
"Sara" Offical Video is 🔥
I totally agree Stevie Nicks is the best female singer and performer of all times hands down
They had real talent back in this time. thanks
Stevie is an Angel
So this song was Just Stevie Nicks solo I believe. Another favorite of mine she does is called “Sara”. She had a number of solo hits as well. And yes, she was an unreachable fantasy for most young boys back then.
Sara is my absolute favorite Mac sound of the Stevie era. That said, pre Stevie/ Lyndsay Fleetwood Mac is too slept on.
Nahhh, it's not solo it's the whole band but she's the lead
I've said it before, but, Stevie has long been my spirit animal! I'm new to your channel, but I'm enjoying your reactions, thx.
Best bridge in music. It's absolute perfection. 💯 Magic!
Bro you got that right ! We were all mesmerised by her back in the day .
We love her gypsy soul...
I've seen this lady in concert and she was awesome..!!
Everything about her and her voice is mesmerizing. Especially looking into the camera and just being her.
Made a beautiful mistake and listened to this song a few days ago. Now I can't get it out of my head. Happens everytime I hear it. So I definitely feel what you are saying about Stevie.
Thank you for reacting to Fleetwood Mac's Gypsy. One of my all time favorites!
A great one from Stevie is Stand Back….live
My favorite song! I even have a sign with a lyric from this song.
❤❤❤Love this reaction again. Tears and getting emotional get to guys a lot. ❤❤❤
Her Solid Gold television show performance of "Stand Back" is great.
May 02, 2023. Stevie Nicks is my favorite singer, Fleetwood Mac is my favorite group but because of Stevie, Gypsy was the first song I heard in her voice and since 1982 I've been a fan of hers, I've been able to go to 6 concerts FM and one of her as a soloist, and I will continue to be her fans until the day I die, that is why she is The Queen of Rock or The Gypsy Queen of Rock as many others call her.
Stevie… always love her flouncing skirts and skip hop… trademark! Definitely free spirited… memories of youth..
Stevie Nicks is my favorite.I have seen her in concert 7 times and i also got to shake her hand during Rhiannon..Best night of my life. I have a signed picture from her..And paintings of her my brother did..
I love all of your reaction videos and I love how you two show so much emotion about the music and the artists. I can really feel your connection and appreciation to the music. I particularly love your queen live aid reaction videos as I am a big fan of Freddie Mercury myself. Stevie Nicks is definitely so unique and was so goddess like. I absolutely love Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac and all of their beautiful music.
did you notice Stevie and Lindsey dancing together in the video?
I love Fleetwood Mac. I saw Buckingham Nicks last concert before they joined Fleetwood Mac. Loved it.
I seem to remember it being said (paraphrasing) that Stevie is the woman every girl wants to be and the woman every man wants to be with. And it's facts! I was somewhere around 8 years old when this video came out. I'd been listening to Fleetwood Mac all my life because of my parents, but I'd never seen them before. I saw this video and I was mesmerized, Stevie was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen in my life, and so magical. From then on, I called her my fairy godmother. I still do. She's amazing, she's the Queen, the Welsh Witch, she's everything. Stevie's solo stuff~ "Beauty And The Beast", "Stand Back", "I Can't Wait" (extended rock mix), "Nightbird", "I Sing For The Things", "Sorcerer", "Moonlight (A Vampire's Dream)", "Annabel Lee", and a song she did with Kenny Loggins "Whenever I Call You Friend". With Fleetwood Mac, I never cared too much for the 80's stuff. But off the most recent album, "Say You Will", "Miranda", "Come", "Steal Your Heart Away", "Bleed To Love Her", "Destiny Rules", and "Goodbye Baby". Also "Silver Springs" (original audio or live concert The Dance).
I get goosebumps when I hear this song..How blessed I feel growing up when these songs came out.🙏🏾💜
I just love the way the song extends a bit for the video. My senior year in high school. I loved Mirage, "Hold Me" was my favorite single but that album is great. Great band. You guys do a great job, terrific show!
I had a huge crush on Stevie back in the day. I just realized that I still do!
If you love Stevie Nicks do Rooms on fire, she's never looked better than in that video.
Love Stevie Nicks as well but Christine McVie had alot of great songs also, definitely worth checking out; Over My Head, Songbird, You Make Lovin Fun, Got a hold on me, Hold Me, Say that you love me. Definitely check Christine's music out also, you'll be cheating yourself if you don't.
Stevie and Lindsey Buckingham made an album before joining Fleetwood Mac, called simply Buckingham Nicks. There are many great songs on this album with Stevie in the lead. Try Cryin' In The Night, Long Distance Winner, and Frozen Love.
This was my favorite song back in that day. I was her. In so many ways. ❤️
One of my favs. Thanks brothers, keep up the good work!
Love Stevie Nick's and Ann and Nancy Wilson Sister there only two Rock and Roll Icons I will listen to
How come you guys haven’t reacted to Ambrosia yet? Great band. You have to react to their songs, How Much I Feel , and Biggest Part of Me. Come on, guys!
I'm not big into nostalgia, but your reaction to this really brought back the memories of her Bella Donna and wild heart tours. Thanks.
I like the shirt you are wearing so much I just ordered one for myself. I have loved Stevie since the first time I felt a tingle down there.
What a masterpiece? Miss those days when music used to be pleasant to your ears 😢
You have great taste in female singers!!!!
I saw her in concert 3yrs ago she looks the same and sings the same!!!
A natural born singer 🎶....mmmmmm. class🎉
I’ve always loved Stevie Nicks’ voice. Absolutely sublime. One of my favourite songs of all time is Rooms On Fire. Great reaction as always
me encanta Stevie Nick! su voz es única y hermosa!
some more songs you'd like of hers........Storms, Talk to Me, Seven Wonders, Rock and Roll, Ebony Eyes in concert with Bob Welch, Gold Dust Woman, Stand Back.........so many more......she had albums of her own also.........
