Stevie has brought so much to the music industry, Her voice & style is so unique, there will never be another. 😊 Silver Springs is my all time favorite song as well
Yip we are all mesmerized, This is one of their greatest songs. Stevie Nicks has to be one of the most unique female artists of all time. She stands alone with no peers. Greatness.
The most beautiful sad song ever. Written because Stevie was losing her best friend to illness...the friend Stevie had prior to becoming famous and was still extremely close to at the time of her death. How amazing that Stevie can take her pain and anguish and turn it into something beautiful.
this, "sara", and the '97 live version of "landslide" are my favourite stevie mac songs. these 3 never fail to make me cry ❤ fun fact: the music video for "gypsy" was directed by visionary russell mulcahy, who also did all the amazing duran duran vids for their album RIO. at the time of "gypsy"'s release, it was the most expensive video ever produced at just over 1 million dollars. i LOVE this video ❤
Stevie is a poet as well as a musician. I had the privilege to see her in concert this past November. She is 75 and was still killing it-had the voice even if her register was lower. That lady definitely got me through a rough period of my life with her music, so it makes me so happy to hear how much you like Fleetwood 😊 That guitar solo by Lindsey also never fails to make me smile so wide. It just sounds so beautiful and so fun. Definitely a special group of people
Stevie Nicks put me under her vocal spell when I was just 9 years old. I heard her singing "Dreams" for the first time. I thought I was hearing an angel sing. I've been a loyal Stevie fan ever since. She is still today, always the first one on all of my playlists, and sprinkled all throughout them. ❤
They represent a time that seemed lighter and almost whimsical. Youthfulness ,magical. If you grew up on their music , it feels extra nostalgic. Very special.
To the Gypsies that remain, embraces freedom with a little tear, but I have no fear, I have only love. Have been in love with them since I was 17 in 1977! Stevie's songs got me through hard times and made me remember who I am so I could rise above and carry on 😊 so glad you found them and said everything you did! Peace
This song is one of my favorites. Let's not forget Linday's guitar in this song. I requested you to react to Lindsay's live performance from the concert The Dance and the song is Big Love. His guitar picking is phenomenal, and his voice will captivate you with all the emotion. A must watch.
I'm 55 years old, Graduated high school in 1986 and I just want to say that I absolutely love & Adore this woman. To me she is Rock and Roll Royalty.... thank you Stevie for all the wonderful music and the memories that are associated with it, your songs are part of the soundtrack of my life and for that I say Thanks You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
Gypisies were referring to the dancers in musical or on stages, performing, and often traveling. They are the background performers.Like actors they all dream they will be the one to make fame and fortune.
This is one of all time favorite songs ever! Stevie is just inconic on this. The brilliant keyboard outro by the late also iconic Christine McVie's is mesmerizing. You should also listen to Hold Me from Mirage and You Make Loving Fun and Songbird by Christine McVie as well!
Salvo, You didn't even blink watching this! Stevie hypnotizes you into putty! I love it!! So honest expressing yourself and how 'we' - back in the day, couldn't get enough! When I need a pick me up, You watching Silver Springs or Landslide is my 'go to'. Thanks! Cyndy from Louisiana USA
When you were watching the video. I could see you were memorized by Stevie s beauty and greatness. Just like every man and woman was back then. I was lucky enough to see them,on their Tusk tour. At the L.A. forum. $17.50 a ticket. It was a great concert. When they played the song Tusk. Part way through the song. All the seats behind the stage lit up. And the whole USC marching band was back there. And all of them rocked for like a half hour. The whole place was rocking. I was disappointed with Steve's performance. But I'll tell you,who made that show. Their lead guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. He put on a unbelievable performance. I'm 65 years old, and I've been to well over a hundred concerts. And I've seen ALL the greats. And I'll tell you some if Lindsey's guitar rips, were unreal. Some of the best I've ever seen. I'd put him in my top 5, for sure. And I've seen most of the baddest guitar players in the world. He made that show. And did you know that him and Stevie were a couple for many years. Lucky bastard, right ? And they broke up before that tour. Anyway keep up the good work, with your videos. I like how you do some history at the beginning. Of the songs and bands. I'm a huge rock and roll history buff. Salvo, you sound almost choked up saying this. I love Fleetwood Mac. But Stevie has a hold on my heart and I think she has a hold on your heart too!❤️❤️❤️
Great words you used to describe this very special band. I was a teen in their heyday and the more I heard the more I was, like you, completely sold on them as a gold-tier level band. One of the genuine greats from the golden age of rock music that spanned about 20 years from 1967 to about 1987.
For some reason this song really makes me emotional, more so with each passing year. I hadn't watched the official vid in a long time but seeing it now brought back a rush of memories and nostalgia and now I'm just sitting here crying at 2 am.
Yes Salvo!!! I became a fan of yours based on your Stevie Nicks/Mac reviews......I am so glad you are returning to that. They have a TON of great hits to review...... 'You see your gypsy...." They ARE magical.....it all circles around Stevie NIcks....her writing, her voice, her energy.....the band supports that. Just pure excellence....
Stevie's a national treasure at this point ❣️ You're so on the bullseye with your comment - she brings the sanctuary of magic that we fall spellbound to . . . 😂
Salvo, we have exactly the same feeling about this song and this band. Stevie’s beauty is part of the story for me, including her gorgeous dancing. And she expressed herself totally here, the story being her life after meeting Lindsay but before becoming famous, a time of pure romance but material poverty. The original album version of “Landslide” is my very favorite. Thank you!
I have enjoyed every Fleetwood Mac song I have ever. There really is something mystical about the atmosphere they weave that just puts me in the mood to hear more.
So beyond happy you reacted to this song and that you love it. It is without a doubt not only my all time favorite song by Fleetwood Mac but my all time favorite music video as well. I could watch it a million times and never get tired of it. Stevie is so beautiful in it, of course, when is she not beautiful? Great reaction thanks!😊😊
I know how you feel. When i first heard them as a boy during their self-titled album; I was hooked for life. This song and video was one I always went back to; especially since the album version cut the last lines of the song. It was on the single, which cut the rest of the final lines, but it never felt the same. Later, in the 90s, that final line was cut and re-edited, which was worse. As for the song; nostalgic is the proper word for this song. Stevie wrote or about her early days before Fleetwood Mac. Back when her and Lindsey didn't have much money. She worked while he stayed home, creating music. She would buy second-hand clothes from a nearby shop. She liked to store. She would sit on the floor and listen to music or write her own songs while candles lit the room. This is what she called her gypsy times. After the success of being with Fleetwood Mac; she missed those days and wrote this song. So yes; it's a look back in time.
The lyrics reflect that when she says 'back to the floor that I love'. They didn't have enough money for a bed, just a mattress on the floor. She has said that when she was in hotels or feeling it, she would take the mattress off whatever was her bed at the time and sleep on the floor to remind her of those times.
This is my era's music and I love this song. Thank you for this great reaction video to this song. It is so special to me. Yes, I agree, they have such a way of creating sound that draws you in. My sister got to see them live back in the late 70's and I was so jealous! LOL. I love Stevie Nicks voice. She is my all time favorite female vocalists along with Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart. Stevie has a way of drawing people in by her vocals and they are just as magical as the first time I heard Fleetwood Mac's songs.
Fleetwood Mac has been one of my top bands since the mid seventies. Some of my lesser known favorites are Sara, Monday Morning, Don’t Stop and Tusk - Live from The Dance, Sisters of the Moon, Hold Me.
I was a child when this came out, and I'd been listening to them all my life (thanks to my parents), but this was the first time I'd ever actually seen them, and...I saw Stevie and thought she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen in my life. She was just magickal. Right then is when I fell in love with her, and she's consumed my life ever since lol Lindsey's guitar at the end is absolutely mindblowing. If you ever watch him play it, it hurts my brain to think a person could play such intricate stuff with so much precision and passion.
Hey buddy I'm a new subscriber and I just wanted to say thank you for being inclusive in what you react to and for your kindness in this space you've chosen to share.i love Fleetwood Mac and as a African American child growing up In the 70s and 80s we had such and amazing genre of music we were exposed to and i actually remember Gypsy being aired on Friday Night videos Ms Stevie Nicks ( the whyte witch) I just love her.the reason The group resonates with us is they have a history beyond the music so you hear the Joy's and pains in the lyrics, bands aren't bands anymore they put strangers together and hope for the best. My all time favorite song is Rhiannon I remember being in the car with my family dad is driving us from NYC to Georgia and the radio station changes and that was my introduction to Fleetwood Mac..
4:35 I never noticed her voice "slinking" in here, its so beautifully done, so sexy ... heard this song so many times but this is the first time I notice this ...
I believe the Mirage album is massively underated. The whole album is superb and a great answer to the Tusk excesses. Never underestimate the extra finishing gloss Lindsey brings to Stevies songs.
Directed by Australian Russell Mulcahy who also did Kim Carnes, Betty Davis Eyes. RM did great music videos & went on to direct Movies. You should have a look at his music videos from early 1980s
I think we as music lovers need to attach or label Fleetwood Mac Vibes of music as "Enchantment Music." Because it seduces or cast a spell on its listeners by the enchanting musicality and haunting vocal delivery of the lyrics. Absolutely one of my all-time favorite Rock😊😊😊😊
I subscribe to each of your words when describing what it feels like to listen to the song and the video, it is magical and seductive. Greetings from Venezuela 😄🤩👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My absolute favorite Fleetwood Mac song….out of so many great songs. This one strikes a cord with me personally. To a degree describes my soul. A gypsy.
I love you for this. I actually teared up watching it. It is so beautifully melancholy. It takes me back to being a teenager in 1982. Glorious- Fleetwood Mac is iconic in every sense of the word.
It's hard to pick a favorite Fleetwood Mac song, but this is at the top for me. It makes me think back to the free spirit I was in my teens, back in the 70's. My gypsy. Then you grow up and life changes, but that gypsy still exists inside, and this song reminds of that.
Her stripped down version in Season 3 of American Horror Story, "Coven" is haunting. And very nostalgic. And obviously very magical cuz that season of AHS centers around a coven of bad ass witches with Jessica Lange as the Supreme. Best television season of all time IMHO, with JL playing the best bitch, perfectly delivering the best one-liners ever written (won Best Actress Emmy for the role). Oh, and Stevie Nicks is alll up in the story, along with her music. She plays the piano while singing Gypsy!
My favorite song from Fleetwood Mac is Hypnotized. It has Bob Welch singing, who was also on a lot of Stevie Nicks' songs and covered her as well. Edit: OMG, you reacted to that one! I don't think I've seen it reacted to before!
Love In Store is one of my favorites on this album. It’s an excellent example of a song that Lindsey structured to where each member sonically is displayed, showing what everyone brings to the party. :-)
It's important to remember that Stevie had just released Belladonna prior to recording this album. She really worked her ass off during this period and managed to give us a number one record, live performances for that tour, and still had enough juice left to pen this fantastic song.
Fleetwood Mac is one of those very special bands that transcends the rest of the music of the 1970s through the 1990s. In their writing and music production they tapped into the love they had for each other as well as the angst, anger and regret they had towards each other after they all ended up sleeping with each other and then having bad personal breakups. The emotion in the music is visceral.
The thing I love about Fleetwood Mac is how different their sound was during each of their phases. They started off playing the blues with Peter Green in the 60s and they were so different by the time Gypsy came out. This enchanting sound will always be my favorite. Check out Crystal from the Fleetwood Mac album. It has the same kind of vibe
YES! I’ve been waiting for you to do Gypsy! This video was the first time as a teenager I realized 1. How beautiful she is and 2. That she was the same woman that sang Edge of seventeen- my young mind was 🤯 this also was my grandmothers favorite Fleetwood Mac song! FYI: this was the most expensive music video ever made until Michael Jackson’s thriller
You are not alone in your love of this band. Saw them twice in the last 10 years and caught the last time Christine McVie toured with them and Lindsay Buckingham was amazing and entertained us during the bands break with his solo songs. He never took a break. They are pure magic.
They are magical. We all feel it.
So I'm back to the velvet underground... love this song!
This is a vastly underrated song on their catalog. It’s such a cool song in many ways.
I agree, this is one of my favorites by them, it’s between Gypsy and Little Lies.
Of all their greatest songs over the decades - and there really are very few bad ones - this has turned out to be my all time favorite.
I love this but can't stand little lies!@@dawnmartin4625
@@CatherinePearl100 Mine too. By far.
And it only peaking at number 12 on Billboard Hot 100 was surprising, especially only one year after Bella Donna.
That guitar solo at the very end is just perfect for the whole mood (it's that "over and over" feel)
It's basically a flawless song. What would you change? Nothing.
It is a perfect song
Stevie has brought so much to the music industry, Her voice & style is so unique, there will never be another. 😊 Silver Springs is my all time favorite song as well
"Anytime is a good time to listen to Stevie Nicks❤
One of their best songs. This is a tender song about self discovery 💡 she realized that she was a gypsy.
Yip we are all mesmerized, This is one of their greatest songs. Stevie Nicks has to be one of the most unique female artists of all time. She stands alone with no peers. Greatness.
You've been bewitched by the stunning forest sprite called Stevie Nicks - that smile melts my heart everytime.
Ya know, since you mentioned it, she is a fairy. Magical women, and a great singer and songwriter
One of their best...an amazing song!!
The most beautiful sad song ever. Written because Stevie was losing her best friend to illness...the friend Stevie had prior to becoming famous and was still extremely close to at the time of her death. How amazing that Stevie can take her pain and anguish and turn it into something beautiful.
I didn't know the back story of this song, but another sad melancholy song that's a favorite of mine is "Destiny"
this, "sara", and the '97 live version of "landslide" are my favourite stevie mac songs. these 3 never fail to make me cry ❤
fun fact: the music video for "gypsy" was directed by visionary russell mulcahy, who also did all the amazing duran duran vids for their album RIO.
at the time of "gypsy"'s release, it was the most expensive video ever produced at just over 1 million dollars. i LOVE this video ❤
"Gypsy" is my theme song since the first time I heard it. There's nothing I don't adore! THANKS FOR STARTING MY DAY OFF WITH THIS ONE ❤

It always takes me back to my youth and how free we were then.
They represent a time that seemed lighter and almost whimsical. Youthfulness ,magical. If you grew up on their music , it feels extra nostalgic. Very special.

Big Love live is phenomenal, yes, and he should do that. The man's fingers must be pure callous from all he's done.
My favorite song. And the whole album is magic
I miss the simplicity of my youth, music was such a welcoming escape with the great songs by such great artist/groupsSuch as Fleetwood Mac!
56 graduated 1985. Diddo
Stevie always brings the magic
It's so nice to watch a reactor play the song all the way through, without interruption.
Gypisies were referring to the dancers in musical or on stages, performing, and often traveling. They are the background performers.Like actors they all dream they will be the one to make fame and fortune.
To Mr. SalvoG with respect to Fleetwood Mac having a hold on you--welcome to the club brother. It's a great ride.
Lindsey Buckingham's guitar playing in this song is worth watching on a live video like the Dance
I was surprised when I found myself enjoying this song the most at their one concert I attended.
Lindsey's guitar solo in the end... as short as it is... is INSANE!!!
You sir, have good taste in music. 👌
In fact how I got started on rock and roll history.
Was back in the 70s, when I was in highschool.
I was a long hair hippie type. And I got kicked out of highschool.
Well just that year they started what was called a continuation school.
For people that still wanted to try and graduate.
It was a HUGE party.
Anyway one of the classes they offered was.
The History of Rock and Roll.
It was great.
The teacher that taught that class knew everything and was way cool.
And I've been a student ever since.
Later bro.
"Hold Me" is another great one
My favorite by far . It feels so personal .Stevie is a gypsy ,a hypnotic voice .this is also my favorite video it displays Stevie's beauty and talent
'You see your gypsy...." Stevie's a national treasure at this point ❣️ You're so on the bullseye with your comment - she brings the sanctuary of magic that we fall spellbound to . . . 😂
This band will always be my favorite. Gypsy is one of my favorites lyrically mainly because I love the line, “I have no fear, I have only love.”
Salvo, we have exactly the same feeling about this song and this band. Stevie’s beauty is part of the story for me, including her gorgeous dancing. And she expressed herself totally here, the story being her life after meeting Lindsay but before becoming famous, a time of pure romance but material poverty. This is one of my favorites of Fleetwood Mac. "Hold Me" is a great song, all of them are.
Dude,,,,,we ALL love Fleetwood Mac,,,,,💥💥💥👍🤪
I have enjoyed every Fleetwood Mac song I have ever. There really is something mystical about the atmosphere they weave that just puts me in the mood to hear more.

Beautiful times past.
probably my favorite song by Fleetwood Mac.

Good music will always make you feel. Whether is sadness, or exhileration or just a sense of comfort.
Fleetwood has a spell on all of us. :-) I freakin Love Stevie Nicks. She does things to me... 😄
Love this song, always did. Thank you for another great video reaction ✌️🌟
This band has so many great songs, each are my favorite depending on my mood.
This is without a doubt my fav Fleetwood Mac song. And def one of my all time fav songs
Fleetwood Mac has been one of my top bands since the mid seventies. Some of my lesser known favorites are Sara, Monday Morning, Don’t Stop and Tusk - Live from The Dance, Sisters of the Moon, Hold Me.
Being from L.A., i love the video for Tusk.
I was a child when this came out, and I'd been listening to them all my life (thanks to my parents), but this was the first time I'd ever actually seen them, and...I saw Stevie and thought she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen in my life. My Wife and I decided upon "Leather And Lace" for our Wedding Song 40 years ago. We are both Huge Stevie fans. This song is gorgeous.

I never noticed her voice "slinking" in here, its so beautifully done, so sexy ... heard this song so many times but this is the first time I notice this ...
It was the video that made me like this song. I remember when it premiered on MTV.
Stevie is a goddess. Always was, always will be.....and "Silver Springs" is, indeed, her masterpiece.
Gypsy is the best track on the album,& it's in my top 5 Fleetwood Mac songs, I just love the vibe of this track with great vocals as always
'Songbird' next, please!
I believe the Mirage album is massively underated. The whole album is superb and a great answer to the Tusk excesses. Never underestimate the extra finishing gloss Lindsey brings to Stevies songs.
I do love the song 'Tusk'. I wonder if any other band got a marching band to play with them? 😆
Tusk was a hard listen. If I played the album more than twice I'd be surprised. As you said, this was a nice answer.
Spell is the word, certainly for Stevie. They are timeless always sounding fresh and refreshing at the same time. Classic!!!!
This video was first video to hit one million dollar budget on mtv as you can see why and Stevie looks like a million lol
Directed by Australian Russell Mulcahy who also did Kim Carnes, Betty Davis Eyes. RM did great music videos & went on to direct Movies. You should have a look at his music videos from early 1980s

My absolute favorite Fleetwood Mac song….out of so many great songs. This one strikes a cord with me personally. To a degree describes my soul. A gypsy.
I really have come to appreciate this band that left me indifferent back in the 70s. Your reactions help, too. Thank you.
One of my favorites named my first cat Gypsy❤❤❤❤
I love you for this. I actually teared up watching it. It is so beautifully melancholy. It takes me back to being a teenager in 1982. Glorious- Fleetwood Mac is iconic in every sense of the word.
You really must react to Fleetwood Mac doing Tusk live with the USC marching band - so different. So good!
It's hard to pick a favorite Fleetwood Mac song, but this is at the top for me. It makes me think back to the free spirit I was in my teens, back in the 70's. My gypsy. Then you grow up and life changes, but that gypsy still exists inside, and this song reminds of that.

My all-time fave FM song! Thanks SG!
……yeah, Stevie had a spell over all of us growing up with their music 🥰
My favorite song from Fleetwood Mac is Hypnotized. It has Bob Welch singing, who was also on a lot of Stevie Nicks' songs and covered her as well.
Edit: OMG, you reacted to that one! I don't think I've seen it reacted to before!
We took so much of our music for granted. I can’t think of a time without Stevie Nicks voice.
You are spot on my friend! You have great taste in Music. One of my favorite 80s Band I grew up with!
Stevie has the best voice, it's so special.
So much power and texture in her voice. She’s inspired a lot of musicians who came along later
Immensely popular band. Kind of a magical band, had their conflicts and also made great music. *Everyone* had this album in the day
Love it the first time I heard it
Man you gotta see Lindsey Buckingham ( from Fleetwood Mac) doing “Big Love “ it’s him solo, singing and goin ham on acoustic guitar 🤩 it’s live
I second that.
Mesmerizing!!🎶🎼🎵🎹🎤🎧🎸🥁🔥🔥🔥
Love In Store is one of my favorites on this album. It’s an excellent example of a song that Lindsey structured to where each member sonically is displayed, showing what everyone brings to the party. :-)
Stephanie Lynn Nicks voice is iconic
She couldn't say Stephanie so she would say tee-dee and that's where Stevie came in to play
Absolutely gorgeous song. Loved your reaction
You are so sweet!! Yeah they were very popular when I was in high school ❤❤ They are mesmerizing!!
I read Mick Fleetwood's memoir years ago, and I remember him saying he considered this the quintessential Fleetwood Mac cut.
It's important to remember that Stevie had just released Belladonna prior to recording this album. She really worked her ass off during this period and managed to give us a number one record, live performances for that tour, and still had enough juice left to pen this fantastic song.
I agree, listening to Fleetwood Mac now gives me such nostalgia for an era in my life
Fleetwood Mac is one of those very special bands that transcends the rest of the music of the 1970s through the 1990s.
Also, Lindsey's guitar playing is just sublime. He's just incredible
Absolutely love Stevie Nicks, she so intoxicating! Could you consider reacting to another great female artist called Sade.
Beautiful song♥️Love Fleetwood Mac!! Great reaction Salvo♥️This video was amazing 🤩
Love your channel, and I have loved this video for years thanks for reacting
“So I’m back to the Velvet Underground”. It all goes back to the Velvet Underground, it really does
You are not alone in your love of this band. Saw them twice in the last 10 years and caught the last time Christine McVie toured with them and Lindsay Buckingham was amazing and entertained us during the bands break with his solo songs. He never took a break. They are pure magic.
